Do you mind sharing your story and how you discovered reverse sourcing wholesaling?

When I was fresh out of high school, I wasn't able to attend a big university because I couldn't afford it. I attended community college. When I got my diploma, I started a decent-paying job making $40,000 per year. I thought I was rich at the time. After 2-3 years, I started getting resentful about my job.

I wasn't getting paid what I deserved and I felt smarter than some of the people who were making way more money than I was. At the time, Dan, my now business partner, reached out to me and told me how excited he was about an Amazon opportunity that he came across.

After 30 minutes, I was sold on the opportunity.

Dan started his Amazon business with an investment of $600 and I eventually partnered with him. That's how we got started. In the beginning, our Amazon business was arbitrage-based. This means that we would drive around the southeastern part of the U.S. and stop at every Walmart we could find.

We would go to the clearance section of the store while browsing Amazon on our phones. The goal was to find things that we could buy on clearance, and then resell those products on Amazon at a profit. Believe it or not, we made $1 million in sales per year doing this.

The problem with the arbitrage model is that you have to work a lot and spend a lot of time on the road. Ultimately, we found a better way, known as reverse sourcing wholesaling. Instead of traditional wholesaling which uses wholesalers and distributors to find products that may be selling well on Amazon, we look on Amazon to find our products.

We created a simple mathematical formula where we can determine with very good accuracy how much money we can make if we are selling a product on Amazon. With that information, we go straight to the source. This means that we reach out to the brand owner or legal rights owner of the product itself.

We get approval from the owner to be an authorized reseller of their product on Amazon.

Once that happens, we improve their sales, to the point where they want to work with us in an exclusive capacity. This means that we are the only person who is selling their product on Amazon. That is when you see the power of our business model in action. Some of our wholesale contracts are worth $1 million.

What kind of success have you experienced thus far?

Within six months of starting, our Amazon business was one hundred percent wholesale. We had completely replaced the income that we were making from our arbitrage business. By the end of our first year, we had more than tripled our revenue.

In our first year of wholesale, we made $3.5 million in sales. The next year, we made $6 million in sales. In total, we've made well over $30 million in sales on Amazon. It's been a wild ride.

When you find a wholesaler that wants you to sell their product on Amazon, what are the next steps?

The way that eCommerce has traditionally worked is that you have two different kinds of people – those who make a product and those who sell a product. Very rarely are they the same person. That is the relationship that has always existed, and it still does. We work with successful brands and manufacturers of products.

They don't sell their products. Rather, they rely on people like us to retail their products. That's the way their business has always worked. They have a set amount of money that they are willing to work with as an Amazon seller or retail partner. If you know what to say to brands and what value you can offer as a retail partner, you will be one of the few people who have access to them.

Let me give you an example of how we add value to brands.

There are endless examples of well-established brands that have huge customer bases, but they have really bad listings. We convert listings that may get 1,000 sales per month into a high-converting one that gets 3,000 sales per month.

That's basically what we are offering to brands. We are showing brands all of the simple things that they can do better. A lot of brands don't know anything about Amazon. That's why they need people like us.

Is this a good model for people who want to make some passive income on the side?

You can get into this version of wholesale with as little as $2,000. You can buy as much inventory as you want. You're not forced to buy a certain amount. Private labeling has a higher ceiling for success. However, it's also riskier.

Conversely, wholesale has a lower ceiling in terms of your margins. However, your floor is higher in that it's less risky. With wholesale, you're only selling established products. A product may already be selling hundreds of times per month.

Thus, you know you'll be able to sell it.

The worst-case scenario is that other people on the listing may under-cut your price to the point where you have to sell, break even or take a 10% loss. For example, if you invest $2,000 but you only end up bringing back $1,800, you don't lose your shirt over it, so to speak. That's what makes wholesale pretty easy to get into.

Do you have to live in a specific place in the world for this business model to run efficiently?

It doesn't matter where you are in the world. As long as your country allows you to create an Amazon seller central account, the reverse sourcing wholesale business model works. The reason why you can do this from everywhere is that you never have to see or touch a product.

When I open up a wholesale account, 80% of the time the company is able to ship the product directly to Amazon. In the rare instance where they can't do that, you can get it sent to a prep center, and then they will send it to Amazon for you.

Why should you sell on Amazon?

First, Amazon is the largest online retailer. They brought in $75.4 billion in revenue in March of last year. That was a 26% gain over 2019. All of this growth happened during a global recession. Since the onset of the pandemic, more and more people are shopping online. This has positioned Amazon as the go-to place for everyone's shopping needs.

Second, Amazon does a lot of the heavy lifting for you. By selling on their marketplace, you get access to hundreds of millions of their customers. People trust Amazon. They handle customer support, the payment processing, and they store your products in their fulfillment centers.

You can run ads on their platform, and their one-click-buy feature ensures that you get higher conversion rates and sales. Did I mention that you can sell on Amazon from anywhere in the world, whether that's the U.S., Canada, Europe, India, or Australia? You don't even have to live in one of those countries to sell in those countries. All you have to do is leverage the power of Amazon. You can see why selling on Amazon is such an attractive opportunity for so many people.

Finally, you don't need to invent an Amazon product to make money online. Hence, the power of private labeling. The product research process (which I will get into more in part 2 of this series), involves looking for products that are already selling successfully on Amazon. One of the biggest challenges that Amazon sellers face is finding the most high-demand products to sell on Amazon.

I use Jungle Scout for all of my product research. This is a popular Amazon keyword research software that helps sellers find and analyze profitable products to sell on Amazon. As you can imagine, a tool like this is a godsend for sellers because it helps you determine which products are in high demand. If you're interested in purchasing it, they are currently offering a 30% discount.

Once you have done your product research, the next step is to find suppliers who are already manufacturing a product you're interested in. Once you find a product, you order from a manufacturer, at wholesale, and private label your product. That product will then be shipped to an Amazon fulfillment center to be sold on the Amazon marketplace.

Once you have successfully sold one product and have a solid understanding of how the Amazon business model works, you can launch multiple products. If you want to build an even bigger brand, I suggest selling products on your own eCommerce store, but that's something I will talk more about in parts three and four of this series.

It takes time, energy, and hard work to get an Amazon business up and running. However, once it's rolling, there's no limit to how much money you can make.

How To Find and Choose The Best Suppliers

If you go to Alibaba.com you will find a variety of suppliers from all over the world. Most of these suppliers will be in China since China is the top manufacturing hub. However, you don't have to source from China. You want to make sure that you choose a supplier who has been assessed and verified. This ensures that you don't get scammed by a supplier.

Alibaba has a service called, Trade Assurance that I recommend you purchase. It ensures that the payments you make through Alibaba.com are safe. Before making an order, you want to contact a supplier and ask them to send you a sample. This will help you assess the overall quality of a product.

How To Get Started Selling

The first step is to set up your Amazon Seller Central account.  This is where you can set up your Amazon listing, upload your product images, write your description, etc. Keep in mind that it does $39.99 per month, plus selling fees, to be a seller. I don't recommend signing up for an account until you've done all of your research and you're fully ready.

The best way to get started selling on Amazon is to invest in a great training program. I started with the Amazing Selling Machine. In our digital age, consumers have buying power. A study shows that 89% of consumers are more likely to buy products from Amazon than other eCommerce sites. People buy from people whom they like and trust, and these numbers prove that Amazon outshines the competition.

The moment that I discovered that I could make money publishing books online I was sold. In only a few short months I was making $4,000 in passive income and I never looked back. I've been an Amazon book publisher for 9 years now and have gone on to build a successful Amazon book publishing business, in addition to other businesses.

Amazon has made it easy for anyone to publish a book on their platform. You don't need to be an author, nor do you need previous business experience. For this reason alone, I believe that building an Amazon book publishing business is a great way to start selling online.

What does it mean to publish and sell books on Amazon? 

People go to Amazon because they are looking to buy something. The process of selling books on Amazon is similar to selling physical products, but it's a lot simpler. It starts with identifying a niche, the keywords, and the topics that are in high demand on Amazon. The next step is to write a book.

You can either write a book yourself or you can hire a ghostwriter to write it for you. There are more writers looking for work than ever before. In my Mastering Book Publishing course, I teach people how to be a publisher and a marketer. That is where the real money is made.

The most successful entrepreneurs outsource their work so that they can work on their business instead of in it. Doing so ensures that you can publish 5-10 books at one time, instead of just one. This is the best way to scale your business. If you go to Fiverr.com you can get a cover designed relatively inexpensively.

Once you have your book and cover formatted as a Kindle and paperback version, you can publish your book on Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). Your book will be live on all of Amazon's platform and ready for purchase in less than 48 hours. The speed with which you can do all of this is a lot faster than selling physical products.

What stops a lot of people from writing their first book is that they assume that it has to be 300 pages long. This is far from true. I encourage people to write shorter books when they are first starting. Write a book that is 30-50 pages long and price it between .99 cents to $2.99 so that you're not taking a big risk from the get-go.

If your book ends up doing well, you can go back and improve it over time.

The only challenge with books is that it's harder to make significant amounts of money with it. If you have the money, I encourage you to start an Amazon FBA business. However, if money is tight right now, an Amazon book publishing business is a great starting point. This will help you get your feet wet and gain some experience on the Amazon platform. Once you start making money online, you can eventually transition to Amazon FBA if that's what you want to do.

How much money can people expect to make with Kindle publishing?

Amazon has grown so much over the years. Today, their marketplace and customer base is huge. Every niche, category, and keyword has different potential. On average, people are making a couple hundred or a couple thousand dollars a month selling books on Amazon.

If you want to build a 6-figure Amazon book publishing business, you have to sell a lot of books.

Think of your book as a business card. When people buy your book, they are building a relationship with you. You can funnel people who read your book into another product. For example, if you published a book on meditation, you could create a meditation mat or yoga block and sell it on Amazon FBA.

Your book should never be your whole business. I'm a proponent of building a brand in a niche that has books, physical products, and online courses. This is how I've been able to build a 7-figure brand.

Can you tell us more about your new course, Mastering Book Publishing?

I started teaching people how to publish books on Amazon back in 2013. I created a course called, Kindle Money Mastery. It went on to help thousands upon thousands of people make their first dollars online. For the last two years, I've been reworking my original course.

It's not too late to make money with Amazon FBA.

Despite popular opinion, Amazon is not saturated. In 2020, Amazon had 1,029,528 third-party sellers. During the Holiday Season alone, customers ordered more than 1 billion items from third-party sellers on Amazon, with more than 140 million items ordered between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday.

These statistics prove that there is no shortage of Amazon sellers. For those of you who don't know, Amazon FBA stands for Fulfillment by Amazon. This means that Amazon stores your products in one of their fulfillment warehouses.

When someone purchases your product from your Amazon listing, Amazon charges you a small fee to ship your product to customers automatically. It's your job to market your product. That is the primary skill set of an Amazon seller. The more traffic you drive to your Amazon page, the more that Amazon will reward you and feature your product on their website.

This is one of the reasons why so many people are attracted to selling on Amazon. However, keep in mind that this is not a get-rich-quick business opportunity. Don't expect that you can just put up a product on Amazon and all of a sudden you will make a ton of money.

You have to do your part. This is why I want to share with you the hardest aspects of the Amazon FBA process that you need to master if you want to build a successful Amazon business.

Growth of Amazon FBA

If you decide to take on Amazon as an opportunity you want to understand the growth that exists. Nobody wants to get into a dying business opportunity. The more that Amazon grows, the more that you benefit, long-term. In 2006 Amazon’s net sales were $10.7 billion, compared to $177.8 billion in 2017.

This figure does not include the impact of the marketplace, so the growth of Amazon’s impact on retail is closer to 30x. Since 2017, Amazon has continued to grow and it isn't expected to stop in 2021. More and more people are buying on Amazon and traditional retail stores are closing down.

Amazon Marketplaces

It's important to understand that Amazon has different websites based in different countries. If you want to sell in the U.S., that means that you have to have your inventory in Amazon's fulfillment centers in the U.S. This makes it convenient for Amazon to ship those products to customers that buy on Amazon.com.

On the other hand, if you want to sell on Amazon.ca or Amazon.co.uk, that means that you have to set up a new Amazon listing on each of those websites.

Also, you would need to have inventory in the fulfillment centers in each of those countries. This is why most people choose to sell on one Amazon platform. Amazon.com is the best and biggest opportunity, followed by Amazon.co.uk, Germany, other parts of Europe, and Canada.

Step-by-Step Process For Selling on Amazon

The first step for selling on Amazon is to find a potential product that you can sell. I suggest coming up with as many ideas as possible by browsing the Amazon website. See what other people are selling. You don't want to invent anything. This is a big mistake that I see a lot of people make.

The fastest path to success is to find products that are already selling well and then to do research on those products to see how much money they are making. The trick is figuring out how you can differentiate yourself and make your product stand out from the competition.

How To Find Products on Amazon

Check out the different categories and niches on Amazon's website. At first, you just want to browse categories that may be attractive to you. Ultimately, you want to sell a quality product that you believe in. Ideally, you want to choose a product that can solve a problem.

When you're looking for products, find ones that you can sell for over $10. In my experience, $15 is a sweet spot. If it's less than that, you won't make much profit from it. Keep in mind that more expensive products will cost you more to manufacture.

Once you've found a list of products that meet the $10-15 criteria, I would suggest going to Alibaba.com and finding manufacturers that can manufacture a product for you.

Once you've decided on a product, the next step is to set up your Amazon Seller Central account. From there, you would set up your Amazon listing and get your product packaging done. Once your Amazon listing is ready, you ship your inventory to Amazon's fulfillment center and link that with your listing.

How To Create A Winning Product Listing

You want to have a product that is different from the competition. This could mean a higher quality product, a different design, cool packaging, or unique product images. Similarly, you could lower the price point of your product or bundle your products together. A greater number of reviews is a great way to differentiate yourself from other products. Lastly, offering a bonus is also a great way to stand out.

Amazon Product Research Tool

Before you decide on a product to sell on Amazon you want to determine if there is a high enough demand for it. My favorite tool to determine this is called Jungle Scout. This is a Google Chrome extension that analyzes the results on an Amazon listing page and tells you how much money products are making.

It's really hard to find products and analyze them manually without a tool like Jungle Scout. Yes, it costs some money but it will make your life so much easier.

How To Get Your Logo Designed

As an Amazon seller, your product listing is everything. It is what will determine whether or not a potential buyer will click on your listing. This is why you must have a great Amazon listing page.

Once you find your supplier and agree upon a price with them, you need to create your brand logo and packaging. Fiverr.com is a great platform to find freelancers who can design your logo, product images, and/or product listing description at a relatively fair price.

How To Market Your Amazon Product in 2020

If you want to be successful on Amazon this year and beyond, you have to be willing to market outside of Amazon. The way that you overcome saturation is by creating a unique product that stands out or you get traffic from somewhere else. For example, you could run Facebook ads to your Amazon listing.

Doing so will allow you to get more sales than your competitors won't be getting on Amazon. In turn, your product will rank better and you will get more reviews. Similarly, you could find influencers on Instagram or YouTube that can promote your product.

This is how you build a legitimate business, one that isn't only dependent on Amazon. Eventually, if you desire to, you can build a brand on Shopify or create your own eCommerce site. My fiancée Tatiana is a perfect example of someone who has done this successfully. She now makes $115,000 per month on Amazon and Shopify.

Hi everyone this is Stefan from projectlifemastery.com. In this video, I'm going to answer a very common question that I get from a lot of Kindle publishers and Amazon sellers which are, what is the best way to get Amazon reviews for my book or my product on Amazon? When it comes to Amazon reviews, I think a lot of sellers on Amazon, a lot of publishers, they are often looking for a loophole.

They are looking for some sort of a strategy or secret formula or technique and people ask me this all the time, what's the best way to get reviews and often … Because they are looking for some sort of secret formula that can just allow them to get a lot of reviews for their book or their product on Amazon.

Amazon review guidelines

There are a lot of loopholes and things out there that you can do to exploit Amazon, but you have to understand that Amazon has the review guidelines. I recommend that every seller on Amazon, every publisher, you familiarize yourself with Amazon's review guidelines, because Amazon put these guidelines together because they want to make sure that reviews on their website are legitimate, they are honest.

They are reviews that customers can trust. They want to protect the reputation of Amazon.

If you are exploring some sort of strategy, it might work in the short-term, but long-term it's not going to last. Those reviews are just going to get deleted which is something I've seen happen time and time again with my years of selling on Amazon. What I often recommend for people and what I focus on most today are the long-term strategies.

The strategies that are sustainable for getting reviews and building up the success of your product or your book or whatever it is on Amazon.

Trust me, I've tried a lot of different things out there throughout the years. I've been selling on Kindle, on Amazon for several years now and I've seen time and time again the mistakes that other publishers make, other sellers make. I've made some of those mistakes myself. Some people, they go as far as buying reviews off Fiverr and of course Amazon had the whole thing where they started suing people that were doing that.

I want to make sure that when I help people, when I teach them, I'm teaching them the long-term strategies. Often at times, the long-term strategies, the truth of how to get Amazon reviews is something that most people don't want to hear. Most people don't want to except the fact of the way that Amazon really wants publishers and sellers to get reviews.

They don't want to buy into that because it's more work or they don't want to put in the time or the effort or the money or whatever it is to do that.

One sustainable way of getting reviews

The truth is that there's only one sustainable long-term way of getting reviews for a product and having it be successful. I'm going to share with you guys what I believe that is in this video. Before I go into the best way to get reviews, it's really important to understand Amazon. Amazon is this big multi-billion dollar company.

They have millions and millions of customers. The success of Amazon and one of the key selling features are reviews where the customers have the ability to leave the reviews and their thoughts on certain products and books.

One of the challenges that Amazon has is fake reviews. People have been trying to figure out ways to exploit Amazon and all that sort of thing and Amazon doesn't like that because it's going to affect their legitimacy and the reputation of their website.

They have a whole team dedicated to making sure they put a stop to that, deleting reviews and some people go way too far and manipulating Amazon. They might even take action against you, legal action, terminate your account or whatever it is.

What does Amazon want? Amazon is a business, they want to make more money, they want to attract more customers to their platform. They provide you this amazing opportunity for people like you and me to be able to sell on Amazon. Anybody can sell on Amazon, no matter where you are in the world.

You don't even need money to sell on Amazon, it's free. You can sign up for a Kindle Direct Publishing account, Amazon Seller account, anybody can sell on Amazon.

Amazon has given us this incredible opportunity to sell on their platform for free to leverage their brand, their customers, their reputation, their payment processes, their search engine that they have, their customer support team, the ability to refund, they really do so much for us a lot of people take for granted.

They provide this opportunity to people like you and me to sell on their website because they want you and people like you and me to publish and sell products on their website.

Then go out there and promote our products. Promote our book, promote our product, on Facebook, on social media, on a blog, tell our friends about it, on YouTube, on a podcast, all over the internet. They want us to basically go out there and…

Market and promote our product

When we go out there and market and promote our book or product, we are sending potential customers to Amazon to go and buy our product.

When people come to Amazon to buy your book or your product, they are either going to sign up for an Amazon's account, which is something that Amazon loves, they want that. It's going to build Amazon and it's also going to … They are your customers, but Amazon really sees people as their customers on the website.

That's what they want. They want you to go out there and promote your product. Now, the challenge is, is that most sellers on Amazon or on Kindle, they basically try to get all their income from their book or their product from the Amazon search.

That's a great way to make lots of money from Amazon, but I believe that that's not a good long-term strategy, because when you are competing and only getting your sales or your product from Amazon search for certain keywords, now you are competing with every other product on Amazon.

Then, of course, the customers are going to compare your product to other products in the search results based on the reviews.

To have long-term success, basically, the secret to getting the best Amazon reviews that are out there is what authors and sellers in Amazon have been doing since the beginning of Amazon, okay, which is no secret, which is marketing your book, marketing your product. 

Again, I know a lot of people don't want to hear that. They are looking for that formula, that secret, the magic pill, the quick fix, the shortcut, the loophole that they are going to just do and go out there and get a lot of reviews.

It's important to be aware of Amazon's guidelines. If you do that or if you are doing that, understand that there are potential risks, the reviews might get deleted, there are repercussions to that, but what it comes down to guys is just promoting and marketing your product.

Publishing a good product on Amazon, a great book, a great product and then going out there and promoting it and marketing it, becoming an internet marketer, not only a Kindle publisher, not just an Amazon seller.

Be an Internet/online marketer

If your identity in this business is just a Kindle publisher, just an author, just an Amazon seller, you are going to lose. You are not going to have success long-term. You have to become an internet marketer, an online marketer. An internet marketer has the ability to sell anything online.

Has the ability to attract people, drive traffic, potential customers to any given product on the internet. There are so many ways that are out there online today that you can learn and utilize to promote your product on Amazon.

There's Facebook, Facebook has their organic ability to reach people through Facebook pages as well as Facebook ads. Instagram as well as organic and Instagram ads, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest. There's different message boards and forums out there.

There are blogs, you can create your own blog, you can promote on other people's blogs, you can submit to so many different directory websites, Medium, KORA, Life Hack, Elite Daily and so many different websites where you can publish content and then drive that traffic and promote back to your book on Amazon.

There's YouTube, there's podcasting, there are so many different platforms that are available, but again, most sellers, most publishers, they just look at the Amazon search. They just want to stay on Amazon and not put in the work to actually promote and market your product.

When you do that and you promote and market your product, which again is what authors and publishers have been doing since the beginning of Amazon. It's what Amazon wants you to do.

If you send people to your product, to your book and your book is good, your product is good and you just have a basic follow-up, maybe in the book that you are selling you have a link halfway through the book and at the end of the book just saying, “Hey, if you are enjoying this book or this product, click here to leave a review on Amazon.” Just have that link to have a call to action for people to go and leave a review.

By doing that, you are going to increase your chances of getting reviews. Even Amazon, they follow-up with your customers and they send them an email asking them to leave a review for your book or your product. Understanding that that's what Amazon wants, that's really the goal of Amazon.

They have all these guidelines in place because they want reviews to happen organically, naturally. They just want basically products that are good to get honest reviews and people share that, this is a good product.

Products that are bad, they want people to share their thoughts and if it's a bad product then leave bad reviews on it. Now, I believe that all reviews are good because every review good or bad is feedback. You can learn from that.

You can use that as an opportunity to improve your book, to improve your product to make it better and better. You want to welcome all reviews, good or bad. Just like you are watching this YouTube video right now, if you like it, hit the like button, if you don't like it, I want you to click on the dislike button because that's valuable feedback to me.

Really I want you and someone else watching this to engage in some way, not just to sit there and be passive, but I want to evoke something within you to take action.  That's what you want to also do with your book and your product on Amazon.

I wish I had some secret formula for you guys, there are some strategies that I teach and utilize and I focus on in my Mastering Book Publishing which is on Kindle publishing. I've gone into a totally different direction where I share and help publishers, not just be a publisher, but be an internet marketer.

I share my strategies on YouTube, on Instagram, on Facebook, blogging strategies, just posting strategies, content marketing strategies, all these different strategies to help authors and publishers to be able to promote their books better. Again,

It's not going to happen overnight

It's not like you could just immediately get a certain number of reviews. It's going to happen over time, but the great thing is that when you focus on the long-term like that and you build these systems, they are evergreen sources of traffic.

I have certain books and products on Amazon that continue selling because I have content on the internet. I've got links and resources online that funnel into my book and my product. Every single week and every single month, I've got sales coming in from that. It took me time to build that.

It took me time to build a Facebook presence online. It took me time to build that email list. It took me time to do all these things, but you've got time on your side guys. You don't need to get rich quick. Take your time, build the systems. Focus on the long-term.

Build a brand

A brand will give you the ability to build a relationship with people, to attract people, to have a list, have a following, an audience online. Whenever you launch a new product or new books, you are going to easily be able to have people that are going to be the raving fan, people to go and buy that. Perfect company of this is Apple.

Every time Apple releases a new watch or a new iPhone, whatever it is, they have people that are lining up outside the store for a day just to get their hands on that product. That's how raving fan customers and the relationship and the value that they have of what they've been able to build.

Focus on the long-term guys. Build the systems in your business, market your product. That's really what it comes down to is, market your product to the best of your ability and ask for the review in your book, in your product in your follow-up. That's the best way of going about it. That's the best way to get reviews that again are long-term, they are sustainable, they are not going to disappear.

Amazon is going to love you for it. They are going to reward you for it. They are going to rank you better for it. You are not going to worry about losing the reviews and pissing off Amazon and all the unfortunate things that can go along with that.

You are going to be further ahead than everyone else. You are not going to have to worry about competition. Your competition is going to have to worry about you. That's the position that you want to be in. That's how you build a successful business, a long-term business is focused on the long-term, don't worry about the short-term.

Build your business for the long-term

There's always going to be people out there that are looking for the latest shortcut and stuff. They may make a lot of money in the short-term, but it's not going to last.

I've seen so many publishers and sellers that make some money for a month or two and then it's gone. You want to build an income stream that will be around for five and 10 years, 20 years from now that will continue to be able to provide passive income for you. That's the best way to get Amazon reviews. To summarize, basically, when you published your product, market the hell out of it and then also ask for the review. That's the best way.

In order to send a shipment to Amazon FBA, you'll first need a few things:

• An active Amazon Seller Central account.
• Your products packaged in boxes and ready to be shipped to Amazon.
• Your Amazon product listing is set up to be sold through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA).

Steps On How To Send A Shipment To Amazon FBA

The great thing about opting in for FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon), is that Amazon will handle all of the shipping for you.  When you send your products to their fulfillment centres, then they'll store your product inventory in their warehouses and ship it automatically to your customers when they purchase your product.  They handle all of that legwork for you!

The steps to sending a product shipment to Amazon is pretty simple.  I recommend that you watch the video above to go through all of the steps visually, however, here's a summary below:

1. In your Amazon Seller Central account, click on Inventory and then Manage Inventory.
2. Select your Amazon product listing (you'll need to have it set up first) and then from the dropdown of actions, select Send/replenish inventory.
3. Next, you'll want to Create a new shipping plan and add in the address of where you'll be shipping your product inventory from (usually your supplier).  Then select the Packing type, whether it's individual products or case-packed products.  Once complete, select Continue to shipping plan.
4. On the next page, you'll provide the details of your boxes and how many units are in the boxes that you'll want to ship to Amazon.  It's important that you follow Amazon's guidelines on packaging, which can be found on these links: Amazon Packaging and Prep Requirements and Amazon Shipping and Routing Requirements.It's important to follow these requirements, as they only allow a certain number of units per box, a certain amount of weight, box dimensions, etc… so it's important to know the details of your shipment to Amazon.
5. Once you've added those details, continue ahead to where it asks for Labeling.  It's important to understand that when having Amazon handle the fulfillment for you that your products require a specific barcode on it.  This barcode allows Amazon to be organized and ensure it's shipping your product when someone orders it.  On this page, you'll be able to decide whether you want to put on the labels yourself (Merchant) or have Amazon do that for you (they will take a fee for this).  I personally have decided to print the barcodes directly onto my product packaging, to save money and time for this.  This saves me money over the long-term, as Amazon will charge a fee to put on a sticker for each product.  The only downside of doing it this way is that your product won't be able to be sold outside of Amazon.You're able to Print Labels on this page, which is the unique barcode that Amazon provides you to put on your product (or they can do it for you, as I mentioned earlier).
6. On the next page, Amazon will then provide you with the shipping plan for your product inventory.  They'll provide you with details such as the addresses warehouses to ship your product to and how many to send to each ones specifically.  You'll then need to print out or send the shipping plan to your supplier to place on the boxes for your products.  This will make it easy to ship directly to Amazon's fulfillment centres.
7. Next, you just need to Approve Shipment and then you'll be provided with details of shipping and the price of shipping it.  Amazon has certain freight carriers that they work with (such as UPS) and are able to get deals for you, however, you're free to use whichever option is best for you.
8. Then have your supplier or yourself ship the product via the appropriate freight carrier and you're good to go!

That's it!

Now you just wait for your product shipment to arrive at Amazon's warehouses and they'll notify you of when they receive your product.  Once Amazon receives your inventory, your products will then be available for sale on Amazon.

Once you've done this once, you should get the hang of it and it'll become much easier for future products that you want to ship to Amazon.
