How much progress have you made on your goals this year?

Now is the time to get real with yourself. You can't move forward in life until you get clear as to why you are falling short in the first place. The truth will set you free. If you're sitting there thinking, “Omg, I've come up short yet again”, you're not alone.

Science says that 92% of people don't achieve their goals. My intention in writing this article isn't to make you feel bad or feel like a failure. Rather, I want to shed light on the 8% of high achievers who do follow through so that you have a model to look up to. This is where I come in.

My story is proof that whatever the mind can believe and conceive, it can achieve. At 17 years of age, I made a commitment to myself that I was no longer going to settle for a mediocre life. I was tired of being a dabbler because it was getting me nowhere. The consequence of not changing was so dire that I was willing to do anything to create a new life. I took out a journal and I started getting clarity about what I wanted.

When you have a long-term vision, life becomes exciting. When you think about it, goals are created from visions. A vision is an active and on-going dream that you are striving to achieve. A lot of people think I'm so successful because I'm super motivated and driven. This isn't necessarily the case.

I simply learned how to become a master at setting and achieving goals. I want to help you do the same. This is why I've put together this goal-setting workshop so that you have a step-by-step guide for how to set and achieve goals in each aspect of your life. Let's dive in!

Have Results-Oriented and Process-Oriented Goals

There are two types of goals that exist. These are results-oriented and process-oriented goals. You need both. Below I break each of them down and describe why they are important.

Results-Oriented Goals

It's critical that you have a result in mind when you are setting goals. An example of a result is losing 30 pounds. You want to have results that are specific and measurable. At the end of the day, achieving a result is what you want. That being said, you will get yourself into trouble if you solely focus on the result.

The problem with results is that you never have full control over them. At best, you only have influence. What leads to a result is the process. If you've ever set a goal, you know that there is a process of achieving it. A lot of people fail to pay attention to this piece of the puzzle. When they don't achieve a result, they get discouraged and give up on their goals altogether.

Process-Oriented Goals

The process is the roadmap that helps you get to where you want to go. With process oriented-goals, the focus is on the journey towards achieving the result. Goal setting is all about creating a plan of action or a set of behaviors that will help you achieve the goal you desire. You can't expect to reach your final destination if you don't have a plan in place to get there.

Going back to my original example, the process for losing 30 pounds may involve going to the gym 3 days per week. That is what you have control over. Engaging in that behavior will lead to the result of losing weight. If for any reason you don't achieve the result, at least you can celebrate the lessons you learned and the person who you became along the way. The process can change your life.

Step 2: Set Goals For Each Area of Your Life

If you want to live an extraordinary life, I believe that you must master 10 core areas. I call this The Life Mastery Blueprint. These areas of life include Health & Fitness, Mind & Emotions, Relationship, Mission & Purpose, Money, Family & Friends, Fun, Contribution, and Spirituality.

You want to set goals for each area of your life. I encourage you to take out a journal and make notes. When you do this self-reflection exercise, think about what your ultimate vision is for each of the areas. Keep in mind that there is not a right or wrong answer when it comes to setting goals. Reflect upon what matters to you and your life. Let's dive in!

Health & Fitness

Your physical body is the only place that you have to live. If you aren't physically healthy, everything else in your life will suffer. This is why it's so important that you make health your top priority. The key to living a healthy life is knowing what makes you feel good and what gives you the most energy. Think about some of the goals that you have for your health, whether it's a juice cleanse, a metal toxicity detox, or going on a 30-day diet.

Mind & Emotions

Your mental and emotional well-being is the source of your happiness and joy. If you want to master your mind, you have to be constantly feeding it with positivity. Maybe this means setting the goal of reading one book every month, which would mean reading 10 pages of a book every day.

Reading and absorbing this much knowledge has the power to make a drastic impact on the quality of your life. To nurture your emotional self, setting the goal of practicing gratitude every day is a great way to focus on the good. Similarly, reciting affirmations helps to condition your mind with empowering thoughts.

If you have deep-seated trauma that you haven't yet dealt with, working one-on-one with a therapist is a great way to get the help you need to heal. Asking for help is a sign of strength and bravery.

Relationship

We are social creatures. This is why connecting with others is incredibly important. If you're single, maybe set a goal to attract a man or woman into your life. Get clarity on the values and qualities that you desire in a partner. What are your non-negotiables in a relationship?

Maybe your goal is improving your self-confidence so that you are better able to approach and connect with people. When you do the work to improve your personality, not only will you meet more people but you will also create more opportunities.

If you're in a relationship, the goal may be planning romantic date nights with your partner, making love more often, or practicing gratitude for one another. My fiancée and I write on post-it notes one magic moment that we have shared. We put these notes in a jar and over time, we revisit the jar and reflect upon what we wrote. Eye gazing is another beautiful ritual that you can practice with your partner. This is a great way to connect with your love on a deeper level.

Mission & Purpose

Without a life purpose, your goals will never feel fulfilling. The goal of life should be to live a purpose-driven life. Your purpose gets you out of bed in the morning and excited to start the day. Doing work that you love makes you feel alive inside. If you work for someone else, you could set the goal of developing a new skill set that would complement your current role or increase the possibility of you getting a raise. If you have a business, the goal could be launching a new product or improving a certain aspect of your business.

Money

When it comes to your financial goals, think about it in two ways – how much money you want to make and how much you want to save per month. If you have debt that you want to get rid of, the goal may be creating a budget where you write down and track where your monthly expenses are going. If you spend more than you make per month, consider that to be debt. This will mean that you have to start living below your means.

If the goal is to make more money, you could start investing. There is no better way to plan for your future.

Fun, Family & Friends

When was the last time that you gave yourself permission to play? As adults, we get so wrapped up in the stresses of life that we forget how important it is to have fun! Maybe this means taking up a new hobby or activity that brings you joy.

Making an effort to nurture your creative side will make you feel more energized and increase your overall level of well-being. If you have been neglecting spending time with your friends, maybe plan a nice trip or a weekend adventure with them. If you haven't spent enough time with your family lately, make it a priority to connect with them, whether it's in-person or on a group phone call.

Spirituality

Spirituality is anything that is not material or physical in form. Rather, it's metaphysical. This could mean connecting with God every day through prayer, attending church, going to a yoga class, or reading spiritual text.

Whatever you do, cultivate a daily practice to raise your consciousness. Being a part of a spiritual community is a powerful way to connect with like-minded people who share your spiritual values.

Contribution

Every year I travel to third-world countries and build schools and houses for families in need. It's so rewarding to give back to others. I encourage you to create the habit of being a giver. As an example, you could set the goal to engage in one random act of kindness every week. You could give money to a homeless person or compliment a stranger on social media.

Every small act of contribution impacts the lives of others. By being a force for good, you will help make the world a better place.

Set SMART Goals

Oftentimes people set goals that are too general. As a result, they never accomplish them. Setting SMART goals is the name of the game. SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. A SMART goal increases the chances of you achieving a goal. After you've set smart goals, make sure that you recite your goals in a way that sounds compelling. As an example, “I will easily make $100,000 per year by September 1st, 2021.”

Specific – Your goal should be specific. If not, you won't feel motivated to achieve it. What do you want to accomplish? Get clarity on it. For example, how much weight do you want to lose in 30 days?

Measurable – You need to determine what your indicator will be if you make progress towards accomplishing your goal. For example, “I will lose 10 pounds within two weeks.” If you don't have a way of measuring your success, you won't know when to celebrate yourself when you achieve your milestones.

Attainable – If your goal doesn't seem possible, it will feel like a struggle to achieve it. When I first started my business, my goal was to make $1. I knew that I could achieve this. It wasn't about the amount of money I made. Rather, it was the symbolism behind it. Once I made $1, I set the goal of making $100 per month, $1,000 per month, and so on.

Realistic – Do you believe that you can achieve your goal? You need to determine if your goal can be realistically achieved, based on your level of commitment, the time it will take to achieve it, and the resources that you have.

Timeline – Your goal must have a deadline. If you don't have a deadline, you won't take action. For example, “I will start going to the gym today, and I will continue going for 4 days a week. Within a month, I will lose 30 pounds.”

Identify Your Most Important Goals

I have a lot of goals. Sometimes too many. Everyone has a different capacity. Don't overwhelm yourself.  Maybe just set 1-2 goals in each area of your life. Focus and prioritize those. Those are the ones that will make the biggest impact.

Determine Your ‘WHY'

You need a reason WHY you want to achieve your goals. This will be the fuel for your fire. The more reasons that you have, the more motivated that you'll be.

What benefits will you receive from achieving these goals? You always want to link pleasure to the process of achieving your goals. What is the consequence of not achieving these goals? For example, if you don't change your body, it may mean that you will gain weight, have a lower quality of life, or be exhausted all the time.

Create An Action Plan

What are the actions that you need to take to achieve your goals? Similarly, what resources do you have that can make this goal possible? Are there books, courses, training programs, or a proven method that you can invest in? When designing my plan of action, I like to create a could-do list.

Reflect upon all of the things that you could do to achieve your goals. Your brain comes up with more options when you think in this way. Once you have your list, look at your key actions, and formulate your plan of attack. As an example, what is the most important thing that you can do on your list that will help you lose weight?

I hope my goal setting workshop has inspired you to take action.

If you apply what I've taught inside this article, you will see results. Set goals that you want to achieve and commit to the process. If you do, your life will transform.

Goal setting is a necessary process for designing your future. You have the power to turn your vision into reality. However, if you sit on the sidelines and wait for life to give you what you want, you're going to be waiting for a long time.

Keeping your life in balance can be tricky.

If you struggle with work-life balance, you're not alone. Many of us have competing priorities that need our attention. Finding time to do everything can be challenging. Oftentimes, it's our mental and emotional health that is the first to take a hit.

A Gallup Wellbeing Index study found that 45 percent of entrepreneurs reported being stressed about their job and company and another 34 percent said they “worried a lot.” Can you relate? As an entrepreneur, I know all too well how difficult achieving ‘balance' can be.

However, over the years I've learned that if I don't make my health top priority, my business suffers, as does every area of my life. Don't get me wrong… if you want to succeed as an entrepreneur you have to be willing to ‘hustle.' However, it's equally as important to take care of yourself.

You will not be able to effectively add value and show up in the world if you are constantly living on autopilot. When it comes to creating work-life balance, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The concept of balance means something different to everyone.

I had the opportunity to sit down with my good friend, Matt Clark and talk about how to set goals while keeping your life in balance. For those of you who don't know, Matt is the Executive Chairman and Co-founder of Amazing.com. This is a company that helps Amazon entrepreneurs build their own physical products business. Here are some questions that he asked me and my responses to them.

Let's dive in!

What does it take to get the most value out of a year? How do you structure things to make sure that you accomplish a lot?

Before I start planning for the year ahead, I like to reflect and debrief the previous year. I have a process for doing that. I look at all of my wins, successes, and accomplishments. If you just take that in, it will help you build momentum that you can carry forward.

I also look at the challenges and the struggles that I faced and what I learned from those experiences. If you don't learn from your failures, you will carry them with you into the next year. When it comes to planning ahead for the New Year, I first like to get clear on what my vision is.

I really believe that your goals are merely stepping stones to the ultimate vision that you have for your life. Your goals should bring you one step closer to where you want to be 10-20 years from now.

I think about the goals that I want to achieve in each area of my life – health, business, finances, relationship, spiritual, and contribution. Once I'm clear on my vision, I do a brainstorming process where I think about the different goals that I want to set in each of those areas.

I narrow down what I'm most excited to accomplish in each area.

Lastly, I make sure that I'm setting goals that are S.M.A.R.T., which is an acronym for specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. I have a system for following up to ensure that I'm on track with my goals. If I'm not making progress, I make the necessary adjustments. Setting goals is easy, but 98% of people who set New Years Resolutions don't follow through on them. I want to be one of the 2% of people who do follow through.

What strategies can people adopt to ensure that they stay motivated to achieve their goals?

Accountability is huge. Oftentimes when we set goals, we say, “Hey I'm going to achieve this”, but because we are only accountable to ourselves, we can easily back out. With my brand, Project Life Mastery, I publically share my goals every year. It's uncomfortable for me to do so because it creates a lot of pressure.

However, it ensures that I am more likely to follow through because I don't want to lose respect and credibility from my audience. Accountability can be found in the form of a Mastermind group, an accountability buddy, a coach or a mentor. You want to find someone who can help you stay on track.

Is it better to be balanced or it is better to be hyper-focused in one area of life?

It depends on what you want in your life and what that looks like. A lot of people want to build an online business so that they can create more freedom and spend more time with their family and friends. I have always valued balance. From the beginning, I knew that spending all of my time and energy on my business wasn't going to fulfill me.

I believe that there are areas of life that are much more important than making money.

For me, that's my health, emotions, relationship, and spirituality. At times, you will have to go out of balance and make sacrifices, especially if you are building a business. Fully being in balance doesn't exist. There are times in my life where I fully immerse myself in a project, to the point where I may be neglecting other areas of my life.

However, it's only for a short period of time. I always return back to the balanced state.  You've got to have a purpose for your day. Being proactive and strategic with your time will ensure that you are present in everything that you do. When you know what the outcome is for each task that you carry out, you will get so much more out of the experience.

This is how to set goals while keeping your life in balance.

Get clear on what work-life balance means to you and then set goals that align with the vision that you have for your life. If you push yourself too hard you will only end up suffering.

However, when you make it a priority to engage in healthy habits every day, you will set yourself up to win. Taking care of your mind, body and soul will give you the energy and motivation that you need to achieve your goals, especially on the days when you feel like giving up.

Are you ready for 2022 to be your best year yet?

Do you want to learn my goal setting strategy for success? Setting goals is an important part of our everyday lives. At the end of the day, it is the only way that we get anything done.

The research is clear. People who set goals are more successful. However, if you don’t know how to set goals properly, it can have the opposite effect.

Unfortunately, a lot of people never achieve their goals. When they don’t see any progress, they get discouraged and give up. Sure enough, they feel like a failure for doing so which diminishes their desire to set any new goals in the future.

It all comes down to learning how to set goals properly, and I’m here to show you how. In the words of Tom Landry, “Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and sticking with that plan.”

Are you ready to learn my goal setting strategy that will help you crush your goals?

Watch the video below:

Before you can start setting goals, you need to understand the types of goals that exist. I believe that there are two types of goals:

Results-Oriented

It is important that you have goals that are focused towards a specific result, because ultimately a result is what you are after. However, I believe that focusing solely on the end result is a big mistake. In order to achieve the results that you desire, you need to pay attention to the process of getting there.

Process-Oriented

Process oriented-goals are little milestones that serve as signs of progress that you are on the right path. How do you expect to reach your destination if you don’t have a roadmap for getting there?

The reality is that you don’t have 100% control over whether or not you will achieve the result that you are after. You have influence, at best. All that you have control over is the process.

If you take a look at my 2017 monthly goals report you will see that I have results-oriented and process-oriented goals. The results goal that I set for myself in 2017 is to make $2 million in revenue in my business.

Keep in mind that I don't have 100% control over that result, but I do have control over the actions that I can take that will lead me to that end goal.

For example, some of my process-oriented goals for achieving my results-oriented goal were as follows:

Launch my Life Mastery Accelerator program

Launch my Online Business Mastery Accelerator program

Create my new PLM website

If you want to achieve true, lasting success in life, you need to focus on and enjoy the process. This is my goal setting strategy for success.

Whatever result that you have for yourself, you need to break it down into smaller chunks and celebrate your wins along the way. Oftentimes people are making progress, but they aren’t aware of it because they don’t take the time to enjoy the process.

Research supports this intuition, showing that people need to feel like they are making meaningful progress in their work. Celebrating wins is one way of doing so.

Every time that you achieve a process-oriented goal, celebrate yourself! When you do, you will be more likely to continue to make progress towards achieving the result that you desire.

When you shift your perspective and master the process, you improve yourself and move closer towards becoming the person that you desire to be.

In the words of Henry David Thoreau, “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” Learn to enjoy the process and the person that you become on the road to crushing your goals.

If you think you are going nowhere in life, take a deep breath and watch this.

It is important that you accept that the past is ancient history. It’s okay to remember your past, but don’t live in it. It does not dictate or determine your future in any way, unless you allow it to.

It’s time to stop worrying and start living, today. In the words of Lisa Unger, “The past is history, the future is a mystery, but the present is a gift.”

In this very moment, you have an opportunity to make new decisions, choices, and actions in order to create the life that you desire. Who do you want to be TODAY, and what do you want to create for your future? You are the master of your destiny.

Do you want to learn how to upgrade your life so that you achieve success faster? CLICK HERE to join my Life Mastery Accelerator program!

The best way to answer this question is to create a compelling vision for your life. This is one of the most effective strategies for achieving your dreams.

Most people have a million excuses for why they can’t dream. Tap into the small child inside of you who believes that they can be and do anything in this world. What would that look like for you?

Creating a vision for your life begins by identifying your core values and your purpose. Unfortunately, for many people, a vision doesn’t seem real for them, which is why you need to break it down into smaller goals.

You need to have a yearly goal in every aspect of your life – health, emotions, finances, spirituality, career, relationships, etc. For example, if you want to make $100,000 in one year, then how much money do you need to make in the next 6 months, 3 months, or 1 month?

A vision is a powerful catalyst for doing so, because it gives you something to work towards. Don’t let your vision scare you. Everything of value in life always has a starting point. Just start!

When I was 17 years old I didn’t think that my life was going anywhere – I was shy, depressed, lonely, and I was addicted to video games.

I let my life pass me by because I wasn’t focused on creating the future that I desired. This was a big mistake. As soon as you start thinking for your future, and not just doing what is convenient and comfortable, your life changes.

If you want to invest in your future, you need to start learning and growing. When you do so, it opens up your mind to new possibilities and opportunities. Jim Rohn said it best, “If you want to have more, you need to become more.”

In my early 20’s, I made the decision to change my life for the better. I didn’t have much money at the time, but I was committed to personal growth.

I remember that I went to a thrift shop in Vancouver, B.C. and bought $2 self-development books and started reading as much as I could.

Reading these books made me realize what my mission and purpose in life was. From that moment on, I was hooked.

If you think you are going nowhere in life, drop that story. The beauty of life is that, at any given moment, you have the power to make a change.

Find resources, seminars, or books that target your biggest obstacle in life, and learn the strategies and habits from the people that have overcome whatever it is that is holding you back. Once you overcome your fears, you will upgrade your life.

Lastly, every month I challenge you to write down and document all of the amazing goals that you have accomplished in your life, big and small. Every month I like to capture my monthly goals, the conversations I had, the books that I read, the content I have consumed, the ways that I grew and improved myself, and the actions that I took in my business. If you do so, it will inspire and motivate you to achieve more.

If you think you are going nowhere in life, take a deep breath and watch this. Write down your vision and your goals, and then take action!

Nothing is going to change if you just consume content. You need to apply what you are learning. There is no better time than now to take a risk, push your comfort zone, and become the person that you desire to be. Are you ready?

I want to share with you how you can get motivated to achieve your goals.

Goals are important in that they give our lives a sense of direction. When you don’t have goals, you don’t have a target that you can move towards.

In turn, you will not be able to make progress in any area of your life. It is important that you have goals that compel, motivate, and excite you.

Ask yourself, “What motivates and inspires you to get out of bed every morning and crush your day?” Focus on what YOU want, not what other people want for you.

Design a compelling vision for your future that motivates you to take massive action, and then create manageable goals that help drive you to achieve that vision. Tony Robbins once said, “Why live an ordinary life, when you can live an extraordinary one”. In order to accomplish your goals, you need to learn how to set them. When it comes to goal setting, use the SMART formula – specific, attainable, measurable, realistic, having a timeline.

It is important to formulate your goals in a positive way. Use the law of attraction in order to set goals the right way. The Law of Attraction states that you always get more of what you focus on. By setting positive, growth promoting goals and making a plan to achieve them, you are focusing your energy and emotions towards them.

Ask yourself, “If you could have anything, right now, what would it be?”

Clarity is power. The more specific that you can be about your goals, the more clear you will be about exactly what it is that you want. When you do so, your brain will find a way to achieve them. Goal achievement requires focus, commitment, energy and determination. If you find that you are lazy, perhaps you don’t have goals. That is the first step.

Understand your WHY, because when you find your purpose, it will motivate you to take action in your life. Zig Ziglar once said, “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals”. Successful people have goals that they focus on and they work hard to achieve them every day.

Adopting a hard working mentality is a habit, which is something that you can condition. Take massive action towards achieving your goals. The world is waiting for you.

Welcome to my live stream Goal Setting workshop on the 100 Day Challenge!

Today is an important day because it marks the last 100 days of the year. We need to make sure that we step up and finish the year strong! If you have fallen short on your goals, its okay. There is still time left.

Now is the time to focus on what you want to achieve for the remainder of 2016.

Its not enough to just set goals – this is the first step in achievement. Anybody can set a New Years resolution. The more important thing is EXECUTION.

I want to share with you how to actually set goals and take massive action. I utilize a process in my life that has helped me tremendously, called the “Life Mastery Circle”.

You need to make sure that you are making progress in each area of your life. When you set goals for the remainder of the 100 days, focus on specific areas of your life that you want to grow and expand in.

#1 – Decide how many goals you want to set

You need to fully commit to each one, and follow through. It is important that you set SMART goals – specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time line. Make sure that your goals follow this philosophy. Once you set smart goals, you will gain momentum and confidence.

#2 – Set specific goals

Ask yourself, “What are areas of my life that I want to change?” What is a desire that you want to create for your life? What is your vision? What do you want to achieve in the remainder of 2016? I like to language my goals in a specific way. You want to make sure that your goals are compelling and that they excite you.

Keep in mind that your goals and my goals can be totally different.   Everyone is at a different level and stage in their life. Here are the 5 goals that I am going to set for the 100-Day Challenge:

Health Goal – 15-Day Juice Fast

“I will easily do a 15-day juice fast to cleanse and heal my body, creating an unstoppable energy and vitality by Sept 21, 2016”. This affirmation follows the SMART philosophy. Adding the word “will” and “easily” allows your brain to view the experience as enjoyable. “To cleanse and heal my body”, provides the reason and the purpose for carrying out the goal.

I believe that your health is wealth. Energy is life. If you want to do anything in your life, it will require a tremendous amount of energy. When you master your health, everything else is enhanced.

Business Goal – Self Development Course

I will easily create a new life-changing self development video course that will add massive value and transform peoples’ lives by Dec 31st, 2016.

Business Finance Goal

I will easily earn 2 million dollars with Project Life Mastery by Dec, 31st 2016. I’ve got to step it up if I want to achieve this goal. Last year we did 1.5 million with Project Life Mastery, so I need to earn an extra $500,000. Challenge accepted!

Self-Development Goal

I will easily read five books by Dec 31st, 2016. If you follow me on Snapchat, my username is stefanjames1, I share the books that I’m reading. Currently, I am reading three books – “A Purpose Driven Life”, “The Greatest Salesman In the World”, and “Grit”.

Relationship Goal

I will easily create more passion and love in my relationship with Tatiana by doing our bi-weekly relationship journal by Dec 31st, 2016. This is a process and a ritual that I carry out in my relationship. Every two weeks, my girlfriend and I check-in with one another on our vision for our relationship.

Its important to realize that every person has different needs. If you want to have a successful relationship, you need to make sure that you are putting your partner’s needs above your own. This process creates more passion and connection in our relationship.

100 Day Challenge

The 100 Day Challenge, by Gary Ryan Blairwhich, has change my life. It’s my secret weapon.  By setting a 100 Day Challenge, it pushes you to demand more of yourself.

I’ve done this course 7-8 times now. I start off every year with the 100day challenge. This is my 3rd 100 Day Challenge this year. I am committed to mastery, because I believe that repetition is the mother of skill.

If you want to join the 100 Day Challenge & get $50 off. Here's how:

Why is the 100 Day Challenge so powerful?

Investment – when you invest in a goal, it elevates your commitment.

Accountability – when you commit, you are accountable to it. Find a friend who is on the same journey as you and support each other. If you can publicly declare your goals, it also creates accountability.

Q and A

I would like to answer some of your questions about goal-setting, motivation, the 100 Day Challenge, etc.

Q:  How do you recommend finding a mastermind group?

Meetup.com

You need to surround yourself with like-minded people. Go to meetup.com, proactively join these meet-up groups, attend seminars, events, etc.

In doing so, you will be able to network and meet other people that are into self-development, health and wellness, business, etc.,

Virtual Mastermind Groups

You could join Facebook groups, Google hangouts, connect with people via Skype, etc.

Paid Groups

I pay $2500/year to be a part of a group called, The Brotherhood. They carefully screen you, but there are other groups that are cheaper. Keep in mind, the higher the level of the master mind group, the more benefit you will get from it.

Q: What was the single most powerful action that you took to improve your relationship with money and wealth creation?

I changed my beliefs, my blueprint, because, oftentimes, we have beliefs about money that are inner conflicts. I identified what was holding me back about success and figuring out what I needed to do in order to resolve. I focused on daily rituals and I learned NLP in order to overcome my limiting beliefs.  I made a choice to fully commit to my success. Success became a moral obligation.  I stepped up, and raised my game to the next level.

Q: How do you put realistic timelines on your goals?

It’s a bit of speculation, because nobody really knows. Have a timeline that you believe ins realistic. Make sure you have really thought through the goal. Because I have a hectic schedule, I need to make sure that my schedule makes sense. I like to be safe ad cautious with my timelines, and you can always achieve a goal before the deadline. Do the best you can to speculate with the goals that you have.

Q: What do you do when you reach or fail a goal? Any rituals or celebrations?

When I set goals, I always make sure that I set up a reward and a consequence – the reward is some sort of pleasure I will give myself, because whatever gets rewarded, gets reinforced. For example, a trip, a massage, a treat, spending spree.

Whenever you do something well, pat yourself on the back or acknowledge yourself. The consequence is the pain (shame, guilt) of what will happen if you don’t follow through. Henry David Thoreau once said, “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals”.

Commit to your goals, take massive action, and become the best version of yourself!
