This is the easy way to get started with affiliate marketing.

Before I dive into how you can make money with affiliate marketing, let's talk about what affiliate marketing is. Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people's products and services. The amazing thing about being an affiliate marketer is that you don't have to create a product or service.

Your main role is to promote products and services, via an affiliate link, on different content marketing platforms. When someone clicks on your link and buys something, you get a commission from that sale! There are thousands of affiliate products that you can choose from which can be found on various affiliate marketplaces.

The question is, “How do you know which marketplace is the best?” For the sake of this blog post, I am going to talk about Clickbank. However, this is only one affiliate marketplace amongst many. If you don't find a product on Clickbank, you can always look elsewhere.

Clickbank is one of the biggest affiliate marketing networks in the world.

They have over 200 million customers across 190 countries. On the Clickbank platform, you will find hundreds of thousands of physical and digital products. Some of the product categories include gaming, e-business, marketing, health & fitness, self-help, etc. Keep in mind that profit margins are usually higher for digital products than physical products.

There are a lot of great benefits of the Clickbank affiliate program, some of which include:

• Getting paid on time
• Promoting upsell offers
• Recurring commissions through their continuity program
• Earning high commissions (50-90%)

Once you are signed up with Clickbank, you want to access their affiliate marketplace. This is where you will find thousands of products that you can promote. There are some important factors to make note of when you're searching for products in the Clickbank marketplace. Below is an example of a product that is currently selling on Clickbank.

Rocket Spanish (online Spanish course)

Average dollar earned, per sale: $105.27 – This is how much affiliates are earning from this product, on average, per sale. This is really good. Keep in mind that not everyone will buy a product that they click on, but this is what you would earn if someone bought this product from you.

The initial dollar amount, per sale: $100.52 – This includes the upsells or order bumps that someone might purchase when they first buy this product.

Average percent, per sale: 62% – This is the percentage of commission, on average, that someone pays out. A product like this will have upsells. The front-end product may have a 50-90% commission, but there could also be an upsell offered once someone buys the product.

Average rebill total: $60.37 – This product has a continuity program, meaning that the course offers recurring payments.

Gravity: 10.47 – This is reflective of how many affiliates are actively promoting this product and generating sales from it in the last 12 weeks. Anything over 5 is decent. The higher the gravity is, the more popular the product is.

Methods For Reviewing Affiliate Products

There are several ways to promote an affiliate product. However, doing product reviews is one of the easiest and most common ways for affiliate marketers to make money. When you share your experience with a product, you want to make sure that you're always being honest and transparent.

This means acknowledging both the pros and cons of a potential product. For the purpose of this blog post, I am going to talk about two methods for reviewing affiliate products – YouTube and blogging. When it comes to promoting affiliate products on YouTube, it's important that you know how to do keyword research and search engine optimization.

This is what will help you get top video rankings for your affiliate product reviews and/or get traffic to your blog. For example, when I type in the keyword “Rocket Spanish” on YouTube, I immediately see a lot of keyword suggestions. This is a good sign that this is a popular product, meaning people come to YouTube to learn more about other people's experiences with the product.

A second method for reviewing and promoting products as an affiliate is blogging. If you go to Google and type in “Rocket Language Review”, you will see many bloggers who are already reviewing this product. Keep in mind that ranking your content in Google is a bit more complex than YouTube. However, both methods are great. On the whole, it's up to you which route you want to take.

This is the easiest way to make money with affiliate marketing.

Clickbank is the place to find affiliate products.

Clickbank is a great resource to see what niches or markets are available for you to build your affiliate marketing business around. There are hundreds of thousands of products available on their marketplace for you to promote, based on all the different categories and niches.

They have over 200 million customers, myself being one of them. I'm actually a Clickbank platinum member, which is an award that you get once you've made a certain amount of money on their marketplace.

It's 100% free to create a Clickbank account. The products on Clickbank are primarily digital in nature, like online courses and eBooks. However, there are a few physical products as well. I recommend that you pick a niche that you have a passion for and then find products that you can promote within that category. Keep in mind that the three most popular niches are health, wealth, and relationships.

If you want to make money as an affiliate marketer, choosing the right affiliate program is a must. There are literally hundreds of affiliate programs on the Internet but not all of them are equally as good. This is why it's important that you do your research.

When it comes to choosing an affiliate product to promote, apart from Clickbank, I also suggest JVZoo and Amazon Associates. These are three of the fastest growing and most popular affiliate marketing platforms on the Internet today.

I want to walk you through some of the Clickbank metrics that you will find in a listing example. This will give you a better understanding of how to research and effectively choose a product that you want to promote.

• Fresh VSL – This indicates that the product has a brand new video sales letter.
• Top $$ Offer on CB Marketplace – This indicates that this is a top product on Clickbank.
• AOV (average order value) – On average, this is the amount that you will make by promoting this product.
• Preferential Commission up to 90% – You can earn up to a 90% commission with this product. This company has done the math on determining what the lifetime value is of a customer. They know that they can give you a 90% commission up front because they will be making money on the back end.
• Contact service – It's a bonus when an affiliate program has an email contact person whom you can reach out to for help.
• Initial $/sale: $38.73 – This is the average amount of money that you would make, per sale.
• Average %/sale: 75% – This is the % of the sales price, on average, that you would make as a commission.
• Average rebill total: $.57 – This is the % of rebills paid that would be paid to you, on average.​
• Gravity: 244.10 –  This metric tells you how high a product is converting, meaning how many affiliates are promoting this product successfully and making money from it. In the case of this number, it's very good.

The great thing about affiliate marketing is that you don't have to create a product or be an expert on it. Rather, you just have to share someone else's product. In turn, you earn a commission from every sale that you make.

If you choose the right products to promote and create a solid funnel to convert traffic, you can make thousands of dollars. Estimates suggest that by 2020, affiliate marketing spend will reach $6.8 billion dollars, proving that this industry is here to stay.

Can you earn money online with affiliate marketing?

I suggest that you follow these 5 steps in order to create the momentum that you need in order to start earning money online with affiliate marketing:

1. Study And Learn From Other Affiliates

As many of you know, I am a big believer in the power of personal development work. If you want to be the best, you need to learn from the best. Take an online course, watch YouTube videos, go to seminars, or research and review successful affiliate blogs. By investing the time and energy into building your skills, and doing the hard work to master the game, you will set yourself up for success much faster.

2. Build A Website

In order to be an affiliate marketer, you will need a website or blog from which you can promote other people's products or services. When it comes to creating an affiliate website that converts readers into buyers, content is king.

Focus on providing your readers with high quality, cutting-edge information and advice. Doing so will ensure that you are perceived as likeable and trustworthy; two skills that, if mastered, are guaranteed to win you long-lasting relationships.

Secondly, if you want to be successful online, you need to have a next level website design. If your website isn't easy to navigate or doesn't incite curiosity from the get-go, visitors will leave your site and won't come back. Invest time and effort into making it the best it can be. You can build a beautiful WordPress website, for free. All that you need to pay for is the domain name.

3. Find A Niche

Because the affiliate marketing niche has become a competitive industry, it is important that you invest the time into finding the right niche that will consistently make you money. Don't just pick something because you like it. That's not a smart business move.

You could start off by doing a simple Google keyword search to find out how many people are searching for your niche of interest. Similarly, if your niche focuses on digital products, a great place to do research is on ClickBank, which is considered to be one of the largest affiliate networks online. The end goal is to find a profitable niche and run with it!

4. Choose The Right Product or Service To Promote

Research shows that 75% of affiliate marketers fail to earn money from affiliate marketing because they do not choose the best product to promote. If you want to get sales with affiliate marketing, you need to tailor your products to the needs of your target audience.

Do your research. Find out what your audience wants, what challenges they are facing, and then figure out how you can provide solutions to their problems. Once you have a clear understanding of who they are, then you can start looking for the best products or services that cater to their needs.

5. Choose Your Merchant Wisely

Whatever product or service that you decide to promote, you want to make sure that the company or person who is behind it is credible. If your visitors buy a product that you are an affiliate for and end up being unhappy, that reflects poorly on you. Also, don't shy away from diversifying yourself and promoting products from different merchants.

The second part of my trip to San Diego was awesome, in particular the Traffic & Conversion Summit that my girlfriend and I were lucky enough to attend. In preparation for the big event, we woke up at 6am and had a great workout so that we could put ourselves in a peak performance state and get ready for another awesome day in San Diego. I am a big believer in the power of morning rituals.

Researchers at the University of Nottingham and the National Institute of Education in Singapore reviewed 83 different studies on self-control and discovered that, shortly after waking up for the day, self-control, and subsequently the ability to get work done, is at its greatest. This ability is slowly depleted during the day as both psychological and physiological fatigue sets in.

My morning ritual is a must for me. It gives me the energy and drive that I need in order to be unstoppable all day.  If you want to live an extraordinary life, you need to be consistent with your habits.  In the words of Brian Tracy, “Successful people are simply those with successful habits.”

Some if these tools are free, while others cost money.  Keep in mind that advanced tools that cost money may not be necessary when you are first starting out. Below are the 12 best, must-have tools for your online business. Plus, all the headings are clickable so you can try them out yourself!

1. WordPress

WordPress is a blogging platform that you can use to create a website on. I think it’s the best platform that is on the market.  It’s an open source, meaning that there are other developers that can design themes and plugins.

Other platforms, like Wix, are a closed source, which means that you are limited in what you can do, in terms of SEO, customizing, etc.  Newbies get marketed Wix or Squarespace because the technical aspects of WordPress overwhelm them.

Today, it's never been so easy to start a website. Invest your time and learn what it takes.  I highly recommend WordPress. It is 100% free, but if you are going to use it, you will need hosting and a domain name.

For hosting, you can use Bluehost, which is an inexpensive hosting service option. The cheapest plan goes for $10/month.  Bluehost gives you a free domain name and they have an easy WordPress install.  You could also use GoDaddy for your hosting.

If you are getting over 50,000 visitors/month to your website, you may want to consider getting something called, WP Engine.  It's more expensive, but it is awesome. This is what I currently use, and it is designed for WordPress hosting.

WordPress has different themes and layouts that you can use for free, or you can buy one to customize the look and feel of your website.  There are also plugins that you can download in order to add additional features to your website.

2. Google Analytics

This is a free tool that gives you all the data for your website.

You want to start tracking data as soon as possible because it's important to know things like, (a) which of your pages people are visiting, (b) how much time people spend on your website, (c) what the flow and sequence is that they go through, (d) what keywords they are using, (e) what search engine pages they come from, etc..

3. Research Tools

It's important that you identify what keywords people are searching for in your market.

Google Adwords

Google Adwords is an advertising platform. It’s free to download it, and you only pay once someone clicks your ad to visit your website, or calls you.  In other words, when your advertising is working.

Keyword Tool.io

This tool gives you keywords that people are searching for in Google and other search engines. It is free, but there is a paid version as well.

Long Tail Pro

If you want to master SEO for your blog, this tool will give you deeper information with regards to Adwords data, metrics, etc.  If you are a #’s person, this is a great tool for you.

BuzzSumo

With this tool you can put in a keyword and the website will give you all the top content relating to that topic.  It will tell you which topics are the most popular, shared, and most liked.

This helps you as content creator, because when you know what headlines and topics are resonating with people online, you can then create epic content.

4. Leadpages

On any website, you need to collect email addresses of people that are visiting your website or that are consuming your content.  A leadpage allows you to easily create landing pages, also known as squeeze or opt-in pages.

This tool enables people to come to your page, where you would offer them something for free, and then they would enter their contact info in order to subscribe to be on your email list.

Leadpages are great for simple squeeze pages and they’ve got the best designs for that.

5. Aweber

Aweber is software that allows you to collect emails, send broadcasts to your email list, and set up auto-responder emails.  It integrates with leadpages and with WordPress. They all work together.

There are other email management softwares out there, however when you are choosing one, make sure that they are Internet-marketing friendly. It depends on what you are using it for.

It’s important to make sure that whatever software you use has high deliverability.  You can collect a lot of emails, but when you are sending out email broadcasts, if the emails are getting sent to people’s spam folders, it wont be an effective software for you.

I like Active Campaign, but it doesn’t allow affiliate links to be in the emails you send out, so that is why I use Aweber. AWeber is reliable and they have been in the industry for over 10 years.

Keep in mind that this tool does cost money, and you should only use this software when you are getting traffic to your blog or website.

This will allow you to build a relationship with your subscribers and market and promote other services and products to them.

6. OptinMonster

OptinMonster allows you to have opt-in forms appear on your website or blog, which makes a huge difference to the # of subscribers that you receive in your email list.  Another bonus is that it integrates with WordPress and Aweber.

There is a one-time fee for purchasing this software, but it’s been one of my favorite tools that I’ve been using for the last few years.

7. ClickFunnels

This is software created by Russell Brunson that allows you to create funnel pages for your online business.

Every online business consists of funnels where people come to a sales page or landing page where they sign up, and you then offer them a product or service.

ClickFunnels makes it easy for you to create those funnels and put it all together.  You can create landing pages for it, but for me, they aren’t as attractive or easy to set up as using leadpages are.

I like to use ClickFunnels more for sales pages. However, they suck with membership websites.  If you have a really basic thing that you are selling, like an eBook, it can be great for that.

8. WishList Member

If you are creating a membership website where people are buying something from you, and they have a members area where they access products or services, I recommend using WishList Member, which is a WordPress plugin.

It has amazing functionality and cool features that are beneficial for your online business.  Personally, I like to use ClickFunnels for my funnels, and WishList for my members’ area.

With WishList Member, there is another option called, Optimize Press, which has different themes for WordPress (landing pages, sales pages, membership themes, etc.).

I use Optimize Press for my members’ area. The design, look, and feel of it, is great.  It is cheaper than using ClickFunnels, which you have to pay for every month.  Ease and speed costs money, but if you want to do it yourself, use Optimize Press.

9. PayPal, Stripe, ClickBank, JVZoo

PayPal is great for receiving high transaction payments. It does have limitations, in that it doesn’t integrate with some of the other tools.

Stripe integrates with WordPress, ClickFunnels, and then when someone signs up and pays, you can set it up so that they immediately get access to the members’ area.

ClickBank is what I use to sell my products online. They have a great affiliate market.  JVZoo isn’t great, but I like to have both in my business, for production purposes.  You always need to have a backup.

10. Hootsuite/Buffer

Hootsuite and Buffer are great tools for driving traffic, increasing fan engagement, and saving time on social media.

Instead of manually doing it yourself, these tools allow you to schedule all of your posts on different social media platforms, in advance.

11.  Meet Edgar

If you have a blog or website and you are spending a lot of time creating content, you want to make sure that it reaches as many people as possible.

I have 1000’s of videos and blogs. Some of my content is really good, but it’s hidden from my audience.  With this tool, it takes content that you’ve published in the past and repurposes it on social media.

12. Crazy Egg

Crazy Egg is software that installs a heat map on your website and gives you information about how people are using your website.

An important component of an online business is split testing and optimizing it.  You need to receive feedback from people that visit your website.

For example, Crazy Egg allows me to know how many people are visiting my website, where they are clicking, what parts of my website they are clicking on, etc.

Another software that I suggest is Visual Website Optimizer, which allows you to split test your sales letters and landing pages.

However, I don’t recommend this software much anymore because, if you are using lead pages, they already have built-in split testing capabilities.

In retrospect

Now, over the last few years, the last 3 years now, I've been primarily focused on helping people make money online with Kindle publishing, because that was one of the primary breakthroughs of my life, where I got into Kindle publishing and made a lot of money, and still make a lot of money from. People that have been brand new to online marketing, get started making money online, and people that have gone on to make a six-figure income, and I constantly get emails and messages and success stories and so I'm very, very proud of that, but over the last three years or so, that's where my focus has been, has been coaching people, helping people, learning myself, evolving, testing different things.

Anytime that I create a new course, I always want it to be the best course out there. There's a lot that goes into it. I'm always going to improve it. I'm not just going to create a course, and then just abandon it and move onto something else. I always believe in constant, never-ending improvement, and always making things better and better, because I'm not in it just to make some money. I'm in it over the long term, to add as much value as possible, and help people really change their lives for the better.

New training program

I'm very proud of that. I'm very proud of what I've been able to create, and I still recommend Kindle publishing to everybody that comes to me wanting to get started in online business, but over the last while now, the last, I guess year or so, there's a lot of people that have wanted more from me.

They wanted a new training program, and to know more about other ways that I make money online besides Kindle publishing, because even though I still do Kindle publishing, it just hasn't been as much of a focus for me over the last year or 2, because I've become more passionate now about Project Life Mastery, and video blogging, and other income business opportunities that are out there, as well.

I know there's a lot of you guys that have been wanting more from me, a new course, a new method, and for me to share more. One of my goals this year, I decided, “You know what? It's time for me to create a new course, a new training program,” and people have been wanting this for years now, and I'm excited that the time has finally arrived. I've committed to it. I publicly declare it to you guys as one of my goals this year, as well as recently in my 100 day challenge.

I'm excited to get started with the process, and I thought why not do a little video blog series where I blog and share with you guys a bit of the journey, share with you guys the process that I go through to create an online course, and I know a lot of you guys out there might benefit from this, just by watching me and seeing how I think and the process that I go through, and behind the scenes of creating it.

I thought this would just be a really cool opportunity just to share that with you guys and be transparent with the process that I go through, and a lot that's going to go through this course, just the process of creating it, but I've also learned a lot, too, which I'm really happy about, just creating and selling Mastering Book Publishing, that I think you guys can learn a lot from me, in terms of what I go through to create an online course.

Of course, when the program comes out and it's available, I hope that you guys will buy it and check it out. I'm going to be putting a lot into this course, but hopefully, you guys just see what goes through it, and when it becomes available, it'll be even that much more exciting for you guys, because you'll have joined me in the process of the creation of it.  All right. 

What's this training program going to be about?

Well, I've always said that Kindle publishing I believe is the number one way for people to get started making money online that I recommend, because, from my experience of all the other online business models, it's the easiest and fastest, and also very inexpensive to get into compared to some of the other ones, and with online publishing, I've always seen it as the beginning and not the end.

A lot of people, they get so focused on just publishing Kindle books, for example, they don't look at the bigger picture. What I teach inside my Mastering Book Publishing, especially in the more advanced areas and everything, is that you want to start off with a Kindle book and publish a paperback book, an audio book, et cetera, but you always want to use it to build an email list, to build a backend and then once you have an email list, there's a lot more that you can do.

You can start doing affiliate marketing, and promoting other people's products. Ever since I launched my free course that I share the 7 online business models, I was really curious to see which business model people were the most interested in besides Kindle publishing, because I've already got all the training available for that, for people that want to succeed, and what I noticed, and I've also known this now for the last year or so, just by working with people and having people send their questions to me, is that a lot of people, they want to know more about affiliate marketing.

I believe that affiliate marketing is another one of the best ways to get started as an online business, primarily because you don't have to create the products yourself. That's one of the most challenging parts of selling online, is having to not only just create the product, but create the sales page, deliver the product, customer support. There's a lot that goes on, marketing the product, excuse me.

There's a lot that goes on in selling your own digital products.  Selling your own products is a great way of making money online, similar to what I do with Mastering Book Publishing, but it's not very newbie friendly. It's taken me years to get to the point of where I'm at, to learn and understand, and to be able to create really high-quality online training programs.

Not only that, you need to be an expert. You need to have a proven track record, a proven method, a lot of success behind your belt, and so it's not something that everybody can do, whereas, I feel that affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online because you're promoting someone else's product. You're promoting someone else who's the expert.

They've already spent the time, the money to create the product. It converts. It's got a converting sales page, they have great customer support, they handle everything for you. You basically just get paid by promoting that person product through your affiliate link, and you earn a commission in doing so.

Affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is often what I recommend for people after Kindle publishing, or you can just do affiliate marketing as a business model without even doing the online publishing if you choose to, and over the last maybe few months or so, I've been really brainstorming and thinking a lot about, “Okay, what would be the next online training program that I'm going to create?”

I thought affiliate marketing would be the best area that I could teach, and I really spent a lot of time thinking about, “Okay, if someone's brand new to this, they're a newbie. They don't have anything to get started, they don't even know about online marketing or any of this terminology, or the process or whatever.” They're a total newbie. Could I take someone that's just brand new to this, that's never done any online marketing before, brand new, to a point of making money online within a given period of time?

Let's say within a month, or three months, or whatever. What I did was, this is stuff that I was brainstorming a few months ago when I was thinking about my goals for this year, is I decide, “You know what? I'm going to start working with some people and help them just from the start from scratch their own online business, in the realm of affiliate marketing,” and help them identify what are the beginning stages, what are the first steps, and what are the steps after that?

What is the step by step process that you would go through, that would be consistent, that would be replicable to anybody out there? Just a universal step by step formula that can lead people to success with affiliate marketing.

I feel that I've been able to create a really awesome method now, and I've tested it with a number of different people as well, but a really awesome method that works. I'm very confident in it. I've been able to benefit from it, so I have a proven track record of what I've been able to create online, and I believe it can create a lot of success for other people as well.

The beginning stage

That's why I decided to create this course which I'm going to be focusing on now over the next hundred days to create for you guys. I'm excited about it, guys. I'm going to show you guys right now, I don't want to blab on too much. I have a tendency to do that, but this is a blog, so I can technically talk about whatever I want, but I'm going to show you guys my computer and map out for you guys the beginning stages of this, of creating the product.

Of course, I'll share more with you guys what the products going to be about, what it's going to include et cetera, in maybe this video and other videos afterwards, as well, but I'm going to share with you guys my RPM plan of how I've planned out today, and I've already taken some steps in the creation of this product, as well. Maybe what I'll do is on my computer, I'm going to use my phone right now guys, and I'm going to show you guys what's going on, and hopefully you guys will be able to see this.

All right. This is my computer screen right now. Today is April 17th on a Sunday. I use Evernote, by the way. There's always people that ask me, “What do you use to plan out your day?” All that sort of stuff. I use Evernote. Great resource to have. You can get it on your iPhone, your computer, and I use it to plan out my day. I use it for taking notes for brainstorming, all kinds of stuff when I go to seminars, et cetera. All right.

Today is April 17th, and whenever I plan out my day, I always set out my outcome, purpose, and action. Something I learned from Tony Robbins. He calls it RPM or “OPA.” My outcome today is to immediately start making progress towards the creation of Affiliate Marketing Mastery, to achieve my goal in launching the program as part of my 100-day challenge, by July 9th, 2016.

Domain name

I've already taken the step before this of creating the name of the product, and that's one process that is probably one of the first things that I do, besides some brainstorming and whatnot, is coming up with a name, because I want to get the domain name as soon as possible, and get started on the logo and a few other aspects of it.

What I do when it comes to creating a name is I just basically brainstorm, and it usually takes me about a week or two of brainstorming different names of potential products, and I just use Evernote for that, and I might look at other products that are out there in other industries, niches, thinking about something that might be consistent with my brand, thinking about … I use the source sometimes as well, just to write down all my favorite words and different variations of different words, as well.

Actually, I settled on Affiliate Marketing Mastery. I was actually going to buy the domain AffiliateBlueprint.com, and I actually use GoDaddy Auctions, which I'll show you guys here in a sec. I'll show you guys right now, actually. This is GoDaddy Auctions where you can bid on different domains that aren't available, and so the domains that I wanted, whenever you have a name for a product, you want to make sure that the domain name is available, right?

You can buy the domain whatever it is .com, so you want to own that. Some of the names that I came up with, the domains name weren't available, and in some cases, you can buy if people are selling the domain name, so affiliate blueprint was actually the one that I liked, and I made a bid of $1000 for it, but unfortunately, the person didn't accept it.

Instead, I got AffiliateMarketingMastery.com, and I'm actually very lucky that this is available. This is actually an expired domain, so basically someone owned this domain, and it expired. They didn't renew it, and so when a domain gets expired, and they don't renew it because you have to pay every year for your domain name, then it goes to an auction.

With my GoDaddy Auctions account, this domain name just came up and I bought it, and it's actually not available yet for me. I bought it on the 15th, but it's not going to be ready until the 23rd. I only paid $12 for it, which is pretty cool.

I'm happy with the name because it's consistent with my brand, which is Project Life Mastery. I love the word “mastery.” Similar to Mastering Book Publishing, it's very clear what it's about, affiliate marketing, people know right away, “This is a course about affiliate marketing.” I always focus on the level of mastery with anything.

I just don't want people to dabble with anything. I want people to master it. I got the domain name. Let's go back here. That's why I picked the name. Purpose. By the way, when I pick out names, too, I always like to get feedback from other people, so I have a few friends and people that I get feedback from, people on my team.

My purpose for this program

Once I set my outcome, I select my purpose. Why am I creating this program? Well, I'm going to share with you guys my purpose for this. Number one is to serve more people, helping them start their own online business and become financially free.

To create something new that will be fun, exciting, and that I'll be passionate about, helping others serve others, helping the greater good, because if I can help people start their own online business and help them help people with their business, then there's a ripple effect, and it just comes back to me in some way, as well. Create a new income stream for myself, enhancing my quality of life, to stay consistent with my goals and commitments, to inspire others to what is possible, and to diversify my income.

These are the main reasons why I'm creating this program that drive me and motivate me. I then set some of my actions. Now, to create this whole product, there's a zillion actions to take, but these are just the actions for today, and usually, when I plan out my day, I make a list of the main things that I want to do, but then I bold three of the primary, most important things for me to do that day.

Some of these things, I'm actually not going to be able to get done today, because I'm waiting for the domain name to be available for me, which won't be for a few days, so some of them that I can do that I'm in control of, that I'm focused on right now.

First, one is to buy the domain name AffiliateMarketingMastery.com. I've already done that. The next thing which I'm going to do right after this is create the 99 Designs contest for the logo, and I like to, whenever I create a project like this, there's certain things that take time to complete, like a logo that's going to take maybe a few weeks to finalize, and complete, so I want to start that process now as soon as possible, because I don't want to wait, and leave that to the last minute.

I can get started on that, I've got the domain, it's official now. I can get started on the logo, and maybe even need your guys feedback on that, too. I'll share with you guys the process I go through.

I'm going to get started on that, because that's going to take a bit of time, and the other things are to install WordPress and LeadPages, and set up a “coming soon” lead page, as well as a wait list. A lot of you guys right now watching this video, you guys may go over to AffiliateMarketingMastery.com.

There might not be anything there, so I'm going to create a WordPress lead page from LeadPages.net, which I use to create squeeze pages and stuff, and it's just going to say, “Coming soon. If you guys want to be notified when it becomes available, enter your email address and I'll shoot you guys an email when it's ready, and share with you guys a process of the creation of it.”

I want to have something there for you guys when you guys go over to AffiliateMarketingMastery.com. I need to set up an Aweber list, which basically allows me to collect and manage emails, and I'm going to start the trademark process, because I want to own the trademark AffiliateMarketingMastery.com, as well.

Anytime I pick a name for a product, I always make sure that it's not trademarked, I'm not violating anyone else's trademark. I've already done that, as well. I want to start the trademark process which typically takes a few months to go through, and you'll either need a lawyer to help you with that, or you can do it yourself. I've done it myself, in my case, so I can do it again.

Brainstorm and create outline for the training

That's another high leverage thing for me to do today, and brainstorm and create the sales funnel. This is going to be the funnel that I'm going to create for my customers. Now, I've actually done … What else have I done? I've already created the outline.

It's not done yet, but I've created the draft of it, and the outline is actually something that I've been working on for a long time now, because whenever I have idea for something, I always document it and slowly put it together over time, and as I mentioned before, I've been working with some people and helping them as well, so I've broken it down.

This is actually going to be a very big course. This is going to be the best course that I've done, and I'm really excited about it. It's going to be really, really, really good. It's not going to be a cheap course. I don't want to sell cheap courses. I want to sell really high-quality courses that are like from start to finish, high quality, covers everything and goes into a lot, and really helps people and I don't want dabblers.

I don't want people that aren't fully committed, and I don't want people that are just going to look for something for free, and not really use it. There's a lot that's going into this. I know the value of it. It's not going to be cheap. It is going to be a couple of hundred dollars at least, but it is going to be worth it, because what I'm putting together is going to change a lot of people's lives, and the information is very valuable.

What are the training modules?

As you can see, I've shared a little bit here. Starting off, just introduction, strategy, and mindset going to market, research, keywords, setting up a blog, YouTube, and social media. I'm basically teaching all the things that I do in my online business, in helping people do what I do.

Creating a YouTube channel and building a YouTube channel. Creating social media, creating a blog, and ranking your blog, getting traffic that way, finding a niche, the markets you want to be in, creating content.  These are all going to be different training videos, so you can see, there's going to be over 100 videos in this training program, probably.

Tracking visitors, followers, building your email list, again, just sharing all the different strategies that I've been able to utilize in my business. How to earn revenue and monetize your traffic, making sure you're compliant with the FTC, promoting email marketing, autoresponder marketing, tracking, optimizing, analyzing, split testing, affiliate, all this sort of stuff. Goal setting, mindset, which I believe in.

Some additional training, some more advanced strategies for maybe another potential program. As you guys can see, this is a whole outline. This is just the draft of it so far, but there's already a lot that I've mapped out for it. I'm very excited about it, and now that I've got the outline, I'm probably going to add more to it, and just again, really just hone it in and make sure that it's just really, really good and solid, but I'm probably going to get started recording some of the content sometime next week.

Conclusion

Today, I'm going to do the logo, I've already done the brainstorm and created the outline. I'm going to work on some of these other things here, as well, and I'll keep you guys updated, again, with how things come along in some future videos, also. Hopefully, you guys enjoyed this, are able to benefit in some way, of just the process that I'm going through here, but like I said,

I'm going to try to be transparent with you guys and share with you guys a process of what I go through to create an online course, and try to, again, help you guys as much as possible with your own online businesses. I'm excited about this, hopefully, you guys are, as well.

Again, it's going to be available as part of my 100 day challenge, so before July 9th, that's my deadline for it. Honestly, creating the product and everything, that's really challenging to do. It's going to take me a lot of time to do that, but also, once I create that, I also need to create the sales page, I need to put together everything in the members area, upload all the content, integrate it with Clickbank, there's a lot of more steps that I need to go through, so I'll share with you guys that process, as well.
