Affiliate Internet marketing can be an extremely lucrative way to create passive income, but it’s important to promote the right products. Select the wrong products, and you’ll just waste your time and efforts. The point is to put yourself behind products that sell, and that pay you well in exchange for your marketing. Here are important things to consider when choosing an affiliate Internet marketing product to sell on your website.

Type of product

You basically have three options for affiliate marketing: selling a physical product, an information product, or cost per acquisition (CPA). Physical products can be just about any tangible object: a book, a starter kit, a hydroponics system, etc. Information products are often digital downloads of an information marketer’s e-book. Physical and information products pay out each time someone makes a purchase through your website. CPA programs pay a commission whenever someone submits their contact information on your website.
