Do THIS every 90 days, then watch your life and business change. I would like to share a powerful self-improvement ritual that will ensure that your business consistently grows every year.

I am a big believer that, at the beginning of every year, you need to set goals for yourself and check in to ensure that you are making progress.

The ritual that I am going to share with you involves more than just setting goals. It’s about taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture of your business and your life.

If you want to achieve success, you need to assess the direction of your business and your life, in order to ensure that you are gaining ‘altitude’, as Eben Pagan says.

Are you ready to learn about a game-changing ritual for your business and your life? Do THIS every 90 days, then watch your life and business change.

Every 90 days I schedule a meeting with my team, and I create a specific format for it. If it’s only you in the meeting, schedule it in the same way.

Here is the meeting format that I recommend you follow. Do THIS every 90 days, then watch your life and business change:

1. Review The Vision For Your Business

A clear vision gives a business and a team a sense of direction and inspiration. In my business, I make an effort to ensure that everyone on my team is in alignment with my vision, and that we discuss what that vision is on a regular basis.

Not only that, but if the vision changes in any way, we talk about the ways in which we will need to adapt our business processes in order to ensure that we are constantly growing and expanding.

Keep in mind that it’s important that you continually check in with people to ensure that they are still on board with your vision.

2. Review The Values For Your Business And Your Life

Values are critically important for your business. Not only that, but you want to make sure that there is alignment between the values that you adhere to in your life and the ones that you promote in your business.

What does your business stand for? If you have a team, you need to communicate to them which values are most important to you.

3. Give And Receive Feedback

Feedback is a great way to develop a sense of awareness about where we can improve, so that we are consistently making progress. A lot of people forget this step in their business because they don’t create a ritual to assess themselves and their team.

There are three people on my leadership team, including myself. These are people that I trust and whose opinions I value. Like any relationship, disagreements can come up within a team, and if they aren’t expressed openly it can cause resentment amongst team members.

Each person in the team shares what he or she feels they believe that they are good at, and what they can improve. I then reflect upon what I believe that I need to improve upon, and then I allow the other members of my team to do the same.

My job is to shut up, listen, and take notes. I want my team to be honest with me. The goal is to help each other grow and improve. This is a great trust-building team exercise.

4. Analyze Your Business

As a group, my team and I then brainstorm the areas where we feel that our business has done well. We celebrate and acknowledge our accomplishments over the last 90 days, and the areas where we think we can make improvements.

We also talk about any ideas or suggestions that the team or myself may have for moving forward into the next quarter.

5. Set Goals & Actions for Next 90 Days

Things change throughout the year, so you need to be flexible. In my team, we reassess the goals that we had during the previous quarter, and then for the next quarter we decide what we want to focus on.

I always try to make sure that my team and I have goals in multiple parts of our business, and that each individual has a goal that they are moving towards.

When everyone has a goal, it allows him or her to brainstorm creative ways that they can achieve it. I also make sure that there is always a reward for achieving a goal and make sure that the goal is S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely).

6. Inspire Personal Growth and Development

Every quarter I want to make sure that my team is learning and growing, whether that’s in the form of reading books, attending seminars, taking part in courses, etc.

These are things that I support my team with because I want to invest in them, like I invest in myself. By giving the people on my team the opportunity to develop new skills, that in turn supports the growth of my business as well.

My team then shares their ideas with the group, and then for the next quarter we determine how we are going to commit to learning. We make sure that everyone on my team has goals that they are moving towards.

I highly recommend this ritual. If you want to succeed in business, you need to work on it, not in it. Take it seriously and commit to mastery.

You need to be constantly checking-in, assessing, evaluating where you are at, and where you want to go. This is what the most successful companies in the world do.

Act as if you are bigger than you are. Do THIS every 90 days, then watch your life and business change.

Are you ready to take your life and your business to the next level? In the words of Frank Ocean, “Work hard in silence. Let your success be the noise.”

I would like to share with you 4 ways to build your mental toughness. In today's fast paced and complex world, the ability to effectively adapt, remain calm under pressure, and change at a moment's notice is a necessity.

Your mental toughness, or “grit” as they call it, plays a very important role in achieving your goals in health, business, and life. Nobody in the business world needs mental toughness more than an entrepreneur.

Being your own boss and designing the life that you desire is great, but unfortunately not a lot of entrepreneurs possess the skills that are needed in order to weather the storms of the online business world.

The good news is that mental toughness is a skill that you can learn. Steve Siebold, mental toughness expert and author of 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class: The Thought Processes, Habits and Philosophies of the Great Ones, 3rd Editionteaches that a person of modest means can become world class by implementing the thinking, habits, and philosophies associated with mental toughness.

You can have amazing organizational skills, be highly productive, and be passionate about your online business. But without mental toughness, you won't be able to stay on course when things get challenging.

Below are 4 ways to build your mental toughness in order to ensure that you stay one step ahead of the game:

1. Embrace Change

Mentally tough people are constantly adapting to changing circumstances. They strive to get outside of their comfort zone on a daily basis because they welcome challenges and see them as opportunities for growth.

Making it a daily habit to engage in activities that force you to step outside of your comfort zone, take risks, and embrace the unknown is a great way to expand your capacity for mental toughness.

If you want to become the best version of yourself in your business and in your life, you need to take risks and do things that make you feel uncomfortable.

2. Practice Mindfulness

Mindfulness is all about staying present in the moment. Entrepreneurs often find themselves stretched in multiple different directions, which can effect their concentration.

This is why focusing on the here-and-now is such an important skill for online business owners to learn.

A University of Miami study showed that one of the best ways to build mental toughness is through practicing mindfulness on a consistent basis.

One of the greatest benefits of creating a mindfulness-based practice, like meditation, into your daily life is that it allows you to effectively manage the myriad of stressors that can come with running an online business.

3. Be Active

There is no doubt that a healthy body contributes to a healthy mind. Numerous studies have demonstrated that the higher one’s mental agility and stability, the more likely they are to achieve and maintain a healthy body.

If you run an online business, it is imperative that you commit to staying active. Hours in front of a computer can be taxing on your physical and mental state.

According to the Mayo Clinic’s Dr. James Levine, in the U.S. people spend more than half of their waking hours sitting down, which can result in a myriad of health problems.

I highly recommend investing in a LifeSpan treadmill desk. It has radically elevated my productivity, enhanced my business, and transformed my health. Getting your heart pumping in the morning is a great way to stimulate your brain for optimal performance and prime you for success.

4. Master Your Emotions

In order to become mentally tough, you need to master your emotions. Running an online business requires that you are able to make strategic decisions under pressure, which is why it is important that you are able to stay calm and objective, regardless of your emotional state.

It is impossible to be mentally tough if you are unable to fully understand and manage your emotions. This is where the power of emotional intelligence (EQ) comes into play. Research shows that 90% of top performers have high EQs.

Unlike IQ, the good news is that EQ is a skill that you can build and master over time. Research shows that 90% of top performers have high EQs. Robert Kiyosaki said it best, “The strength of character and emotional intelligence to face your failures and learn from them are at the core of success.”

These are 4 ways to build your mental toughness. If you want to thrive in your online business, it is imperative that you invest in your mental health and well-being. Doing so will allow you to master any challenge that stands in your way of success.

I want to share with you why is it imperative that you get out of your comfort zone. It’s easy to get stuck in a comfort zone because it feels safe, stress-free, and stable. We are creatures of habit. However, in reality, a comfort zone isn’t comfortable at all. It is a place that encourages fear, boredom, and stagnation.

Our ability to take risks and step outside of our comfort zones is the way in which we grow and evolve. If we don’t, we will get left behind. If you want to succeed in life, you need to challenge yourself. Why? In the words of Ginny Rometty, “Growth and comfort do not coexist.”

In his book, Self-Renewal: The Individual and the Innovative Society, John Gardner expressed that “We pay a heavy price for our fear of failure…it assures the progressive narrowing of the personality and prevents exploration and experimentation.” The lesson here is that if you want to keep learning, you need to keep failing.

There is a myth in society that comfort should be the main goal in peoples’ lives. I believe that when someone chooses to live a life of comfort, they settle and lack a sense of purpose. As a result, people have been conditioned to believe that the struggles they are experiencing today are only temporary, and on the other side there is nothing but rainbows and butterflies. This is far from true. Comfort is the enemy.

People who adopt this mindset believe that they know everything, which creates arrogance. In turn, they end up closing themselves off to learning new things. The three most dangerous words in the human vocabulary are, “I know that.” When you achieve success in life, it is so important that you remain humble and driven.

The most successful people in the world are always trying to learn and improve. They embrace risk and challenges because they view these experiences as opportunities to stretch themselves. If you get to a point where you believe that you have “made it” in your career, don’t stop growing.

There was a time in my life when I made this mistake. I achieved such a high level of success that I didn’t feel that I had to work hard anymore. Shortly afterward, I was bored and depressed because I didn’t have a sense of purpose. Get out of your comfort zone. Yes, it can be scary and uncomfortable to do something that doesn’t feel natural, but I promise you that on the other side is a sense of aliveness and freedom that is unexplainable.

Never stop making progress towards achieving your goals and becoming the person that you aspire to be. Your highest self demands that you do so. The hardest part is taking the first step, but you will be amazed at how quickly you can adapt and thrive in this new territory. In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, “Do one thing every day that scares you.” Take a leap of faith and get out of your comfort zone today. Greatness awaits you!

Are your beliefs limiting you? If so, it’s time to make a change. The biggest barrier to success in life is limiting beliefs.

We all have limiting beliefs that hold us back from achieving our goals and dreams.   Some examples of limiting beliefs are – “Im not good enough”, “Life is unfair”, “I attract back luck.”  The problem is that most people aren’t consciously aware of their limiting beliefs and so they don’t take the necessary steps in order to change them.

Your beliefs have a direct influence on your behavior.  In order to remove negative beliefs, not only do you have to identify and acknowledge them, but you also have to take action.  Words are powerful.  Know that you are exactly where you are in life because of the beliefs that you hold about yourself and the world.

In the words of Robert Anthony, “You can have anything that you want, if you are willing to give up the belief that you can’t have it.”  Are your beliefs limiting you?

Human beings are wired for security. We create limiting beliefs because they make us feel safe, but they keep us trapped in a comfort zone. This perceived “comfort” is an illusion.  A comfort zone is a nice place to hang out, but nothing ever grows there. You are either growing or youre dying.

People are afraid of change because they don’t want to fail. Yes, the unknown can be scary, but do you know what’s even scarier? Regret.  The reality is that everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear. The first step is making the choice to take the plunge and make a change.

There was a time in my life when I struggled with limiting beliefs. I was broke, unhappy, shy, stuck, and alone. It wasn’t until I made the choice to condition my mind to focus on the positive, that I was able to make a change in my life.

Scientists have identified specific brain regions involved in the process of emotional regulation. The latest research shows that conscious training of the ‘executive control' region of your brain makes it possible to reshape the architecture of your brain and rewire the neural pathways of your mind (Bergland, 2016).  A morning ritual is a great way to train your brain to self-regulate negative thinking and focus on the good so that you can achieve your goals.

What do you want to achieve in your life?  Life is constantly evolving and changing, and so will you. It’s important that you have a vision for each area of your life and that you set specific goals for each area. If your vision changes, that’s great. That’s the beauty of life.

I have adapted the vision for my goals as Ive grown and become more mature. I am where I am today because of other people before me who had the courage to put themselves out there and share their success.

Our beliefs control how we live our lives. People who lead successful lives have chosen beliefs that empower and support their vision.  In the words of Tony Robbins, “Beliefs have the power to create and the power to destroy. Human beings have the awesome ability to take any experience of their lives and create a meaning that disempowers them or one that can literally save their lives.”

Are your beliefs limiting you? Take action and master the limiting beliefs that are holding you back from living the life you desire.

Do you want to learn how to create a morning ritual that will help remove your limiting beliefs? CLICK HERE to purchase my course, Morning Ritual Mastery!
