Here is the much-anticipated penthouse tour that many of you have been asking for!

Many of you who follow me online, and who are Internet entrepreneurs yourselves, have expressed interest about how I optimize my lifestyle.

A great way to answer this question is by giving you a tour of where I live, and sharing with you the ways in which I optimize my life for success on a daily basis.

I believe that your lifestyle determines your overall health and wellbeing.

The “work from home” lifestyle is great, however, if you want to maximize your productivity, it is important that you create a space that is optimal for work-life balance, and that you develop a routine that nourishes your mind, body, and spirit.

Are you ready to learn how you can optimize your lifestyle habits so that you can become the best version of yourself? In the words of Tony Robbins, “If you want to change your life, you have to raise your standards.”

I live in beautiful Vancouver, B.C., Canada in an area of town called, Yaletown. I love the incredible view that I have from my penthouse, which offers me a 360 panoramic view of the city.

I'm always working inside, so having a private rooftop and balcony space is great, because it allows me to get outdoors more and enjoy the fresh air. I have two BBQs on my patio, which I use a lot in the summer when I have parties. I also have a hot tub, which I rarely use because I'm a healthy person and I don't like putting chlorine and chemicals into my body.

In my kitchen, I have an Enagic Water Ionizer. As part of my morning ritual, one of the first things that I do when I wake up in the morning is drink a litre of water.

This machine filters my water and turns it into an anti-oxidant, providing me with a host of amazing health benefits. This is one of the first products that I invested in once I started to achieve some success in my business. It was well worth the investment. I also make smoothies every day using my Vitamix Blender.

In my office, I work on my LifeSpan Treadmill Desk. I was inspired to purchase this product after I read the book, Get up!: Why Your Chair Is Killing You And What To Do About It

As an Internet entrepreneur, I spend a lot of time sitting in front of the computer. The sedentary lifestyle is not healthy. As human beings; we are designed to be moving and active.

The Lifespan Treadmill Desk has elevated my productivity, enhanced my mood, and transformed my overall health.

I also jump on my Rebounder every morning, as part of my morning ritual. It increases my energy and helps stimulate my lymphatic system.

When I designed my office, I wanted it to be a space of positivity. So I created a wall of inspiration with photos of public figures; like Michael Jordan, Bruce Lee, Tony Robbins, Conor McGregor, and Lebron James; who motivate me to achieve greatness.

I keep all of my camera equipment in my office that I use for filming videos, as well as my Blue Yeti microphone that I use for podcasts and creating content online.

On my wall, I have my vision board, which is a great way to manifest your goals and dreams using the Law of Attraction. I have my ultimate vision and purpose for my life written down and framed, which I say out loud to myself, as part of my weekly ritual.

I’ve also created a morning and evening ritual checklist that I complete every day. Engaging in these activities ensures that I start my day in an empowering way and that I set myself up to win. As many of you know who follow me, I’m a big fan of morning rituals.

In order to optimize my sleep, I use a Chilipad in my bedroom, which regulates the temperature of my mattress. It’s not about how long you sleep, but rather the quality of your sleep that matters most.

Underneath my bed, I use an EarthPulse machine, which are two magnets that create pulsed electromagnetic frequencies. It basically turns my bed into a deep sleep field.

When you sleep, you want to make sure that the room is as dark as possible. That is why I use my Sleep Master sleep mask.

Oftentimes, before people go to bed they spend time on their computer, TV or phone. That can prevent your body from releasing melatonin, which helps you go to sleep. This is why I recommend that you invest in some Swannies blue blocking glasses because they will allow your body to release melatonin naturally.

You spend ⅓ of your life sleeping, so why wouldn't you commit to doing whatever was necessary in order to get the highest quality of sleep possible?

In the morning, I like to read a book on my Kindle and write in my Five Minute Journal and Productivity Planner. I will then lie on my Swiss Bionics PEMF Mat and meditate.

Pulses originate from the top side of the PEMF mat, directly impacting nerves and cells with pulsed, electromagnetic fields. This stimulation helps recharge the body, especially after it has experienced stress or injury.

Lastly, I spend five minutes every day standing in front of my JOOVV device, which is a form of red light therapy that emits low-light wavelengths through the skin to stimulate collagen, increase testosterone, and much more.

I hope you enjoyed the Stefan James penthouse tour! Each of the products that I've shared with you has been a big investment, but they have allowed me to optimize my mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual state.

Anything that you can invest in on a daily basis that has the ability to change your life is worthwhile.

In the words of the late, great Jim Rohn, “Big achievements come one small advantage at a time, one step at a time, one day at a time.” Invest in yourself every day, by optimizing your mind, body, and spirit. Doing so will allow you to become the master of your life.

Today I would like to walk you through my morning ritual for daily success, motivation and productivity. This routine allows me to optimize my body, mind, and spirit so that I can perform at my best, every day.

I’m a big believer in the power of rituals. I’ve been doing them since I was 17 years old. I used to struggle with shyness, social anxiety, and depression.

By creating a morning ritual, I was able to recondition my beliefs and transform every area of my life.

The morning is the best time to condition your mindset. Research shows that your mood in the morning affects your productivity all day.

Are you ready to wake up every day, feeling more productive, energized, and happier? My morning ritual for daily success, motivation and productivity will allow you to make that happen.

Discipline is one of greatest barriers that prevent people from achieving success in life. If you want to build habits that stick, you need to be consistent with them. In the words of Tony Robbins says, “The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.”

How you start the day is how you end the day. If you only engage in a habit once in a while, it won’t stick. It’s what you do consistently that makes the difference.

How do you start your mornings?

If you wake up in a reactive state, you will move throughout your entire day feeling stressed and anxious. A lot of people believe that they need a triple espresso as soon as they get out of bed. This way of thinking is counterintuitive.

My morning ritual for daily success, motivation and productivity provides me with a natural ‘buzz.' It makes me feel unstoppable, without the negative effects that come from over-use of stimulants.

Do you wake up every morning, feeling tired and sluggish, even though you slept for 8 hours? If so, it’s time to start a morning ritual.

If you want to maximize your productivity, you need to spend the first part of your morning taking care of YOU. If you make your job, your partner, or your friends a priority, then you need to commit to making yourself a priority as well.

Just like you train your body at the gym, you need to train your brain every day. I treat myself as if I am a high-performance athlete. I know that if I want to get the most out of myself, I have to create rituals that will allow me to do just that.

In order to make sure that I successfully complete my morning ritual for daily success, motivation and productivity, I create a list and check-off each activity, as I complete it.

The purpose of a checklist is so that I can visually measure my progress as time goes on. If you don’t have a plan for your life and you just move throughout your day aimlessly, then you’re not going to get the most out of it.

Here is my morning ritual for daily success, motivation and productivity:

1. Smile

The first thing that I do the moment that I wake up is smile. When you start your day with gratitude, it shifts your entire perspective. Every day that you are alive is a gift, and you need to treat it as such. Don’t ever take your life for granted.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t feel happy and positive 100% every morning, but by training myself to smile and start the day in an empowering way, I am setting myself up for success.

Research shows that when you smile, neurochemicals and peptides are released, which tricks your body into raising your dopamine; which in turn raises your spirits and calms your nervous system.

2. Drink Water

After you’ve been sleeping for 7-8 hours your body is dehydrated, and your cells crave water. I’ve got a water ionizer that I use which produces high quality, 9.5 alkaline water.

By drinking water first thing in the morning, you kick-start your metabolism, which will give you immediate energy and flush out toxins from your body.

3. Take Supplements

I start off by taking a shot of apple cider vinegar, which is a great bacteria killer. Then, on an empty stomach, I take a digestive enzyme supplement called, Masszymes. I also take a variety of other supplements, like B12 and Vitamin D3.

Supplements like these ensure that I have energy throughout the day, so that I never have to rely on caffeine or sugar. More importantly, engaging in this body ritual ensures that I will experience optimal health and performance, over the long-term.

4. Read A Book

I spend at least 10 minutes every morning reading an inspiring book on my Kindle reader. Don’t start your day by obsessing over social media, or reading negative things on the news. Instead, try feeding your mind with positive information and commit to learning something new.

5. Write in my Journals

After reading a book, I like to write in my Five Minute Journal, a simple exercise that allows me to focus on what is most important for me to accomplish throughout my day.

I also write in my Productivity Planner, which offers a similar process. I write down what my most important task for the day is, what my secondary tasks of importance are, and then determine what my daily productivity score is.

For those of you who are spiritual, I also write in my Christian gratitude journal.

6. Lie Down On My PEMF Mat

A PEMF mat is a portable mat that produces pulsed electromagnetic fields around an individual’s body. I lie on this mat every morning and do my meditation.

The health benefits of PEMF are amazing, some of which include regenerating nerves, reducing stress and fatigue, and eliminating bodily toxins.

I hope you enjoyed learning about my morning ritual for daily success, motivation and productivity! If you want the more in-depth version, that covers all of my rituals, then join my 7-day course, Morning Ritual Mastery.

Rituals have been the secret to my success, and have allowed me to become the person that I am today. Invest in yourself. Your body, mind, and spirit deserve it.

The Myth Of Multitasking https://projectlifemastery.com/the-myth-of-multitasking/ https://projectlifemastery.com/the-myth-of-multitasking/#comments Thu, 14 Sep 2017 14:00:04 +0000 http://projectlifemastery.com/?p=6756 People think that multitasking is the recipe for success. Think again. Do you want to know what the myth of multitasking is? Click here to learn more!

The post The Myth Of Multitasking appeared first on Project Life Mastery.

]]>

I would like to talk about the myth of multitasking. In today’s fast-paced world, people have convinced themselves that multitasking is the sure-fire way to accomplish their goals and achieve success.

Think again.

A recent article published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) by three Stanford University researchers have proven that ‘doing it all' gets nothing done.

In their study, they found that those who rated themselves as chronic multitaskers made more mistakes, could remember fewer items, and took longer to complete a variety of focusing tasks than those self-rated as infrequent multitaskers.

If you can relate to these findings, it may be time to re-think your habits. The reality is that multitasking is simply a way to make overly stressed-out people feel as if they are being hyper-productive. Multitasking is actually slowing you down.

Are you ready to learn some tips for how you can more effectively manage tasks and maximize your productivity?

Do you want to learn how to create a morning ritual that will help you be more productive, healthier, and happier? CLICK HERE to join my Morning Ritual Mastery program!

In his best-selling book, Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less, Greg McKeown explains how the meaning of the word “priority” has shifted over time – “The word priority came into the English language in the 1400s. It was singular. It meant the very first or prior thing…Only in the 1900s did we pluralize the term and start talking about priorities. Illogically, we reasoned that by changing the word we could bend reality.”

Multitasking can be a challenging habit to break. However, with commitment and practice, anything is possible. The result? Healthier thought patterns, improved cognitive functioning, and higher productivity levels. It’s a win-win. Here are 4 tips that will help you focus on your most important tasks of the day, and be more productive as a result:

1. Focus On One Task At A Time

The solution to multitasking is single-tasking. Instead of spreading out all of your mental energy on multiple tasks, focus 100% of your attention on mastering one task.

This involves adopting a more minimalist way of thinking. Learn how to slow down and be more deliberate and thoughtful with your actions. Doing so will allow you to move throughout your day with greater ease and accomplishment.

When asked about how focusing on one thing at a time helped Apple become more effective at delivering innovative products consistently, Steve Jobs, Co-founder of Apple said, “People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully.”

2. Use A Notebook

When it comes to productivity, I suggest using a tool like the Productivity Planner, which is designed to help you accomplish your most important tasks so that you don’t feel overwhelmed throughout your day.

The Productivity Planner uses a Pomodoro Technique, which is a time management method that uses a timer to break down work into intervals (25-minutes in length), separated by short breaks. This simple tool has allowed me to narrow down the most important tasks of my day so that I feel more organized and get more done in the process.

3. Tune Out Distractions

When it comes to accomplishing tasks, the Internet has become the ultimate distraction. Do whatever it takes to eliminate all distractions when you work, whether that means turning off your phone, putting in earplugs, or logging out of social media. In 2010, researchers estimated that distracted workers were costing businesses $650 billion per year and that interruptions can take up as much as 6 hours of our day.

If you are able to give your full attention to a task at hand, you will maximize the accuracy and speed with which you accomplish it. Mastery requires consistency, commitment, and focus. In the end, if you commit to nothing, everything will appear as if it’s a distraction.

4. Start Your Day With A Morning Ritual

I am a firm believer that the best way to achieve more during your day is by adopting a morning ritual. By establishing a routine in the morning, you train your mind to focus on doing one thing at a time.

A morning ritual is the quickest way to prime your brain for success. Take some time every morning to nurture yourself. This simple activity has transformed my entire life and it can do the same for you.

The myth of multitasking is a real thing. When you jump from task to task, you overload your brain, making it less efficient and more prone to errors. Take back your time by slowing down and focusing on one task at a time. It may feel as if you are going slower, but you are actually making more progress in the long run.

Take it from Sir Richard Cecil, who said, “The shortest ways to do many things is to do only one thing at a time.”
