Your purpose isn't something you find.

Rather, it's something that you uncover and build through a process of self-discovery. In effect, your purpose is calling on you to step into your power. However, here's the catch… you cannot ‘think' your purpose into existence. Your “why” is something that can only be felt with your heart.

Once you commit to self-expansion and growth, you open the door to new opportunities. That is the space wherein which you will find the thing that makes you come alive inside. Let's talk about 3 things that can give you clarity about what you want in life.

1. Release the expectation that you have to have it all figured out.

The career path that you've chosen isn't the one that you have to follow for the rest of your life. You're not expected to have everything figured out. It's naive to assume that. Nobody has it all figured out! It's just not realistic.

When life changes, you have to adapt and change with it. Unfortunately, our society puts a lot of pressure on us from an early age to know exactly what our career path is going to be. As a result, a lot of people feel rushed and choose something random for the sake of choosing. Even worse, they choose someone else's path, at the expense of their goals and dreams.

If you've hit a point in your career where you are no longer passionate about what you're doing, that's OK. Instead of putting your head in the sand and thinking that there's no way out, remember that these are golden opportunities to pivot. Take the time to reevaluate your strengths, interests, and skills.

A lot of people have been forced to make a shift in the direction of their careers as a result of the COVID pandemic. While it may feel uncomfortable and create some level of fear, it can also be exciting. It's all a matter of perspective.

As you get older and your life changes, so too will your needs, values, and priorities. In your 20s and 30s, you may be more driven by success and money, whereas in your 40s and 50s you may value your time and freedom more. A shift in values will always lead you down a different path in life. Embrace the shift.

2. Ask yourself questions and journal about what's important to you in a career.

What are your core life values? What is important to you? Freedom is important to me. In particular, to do what I want when I want. Other people don't necessarily value freedom. For them, it may be financial security. Having a consistent paycheck that they can rely on every two weeks makes them feel grounded.

When I was in my early 20s, I didn't have the fear of taking risks. I was willing to do whatever it took to create financial freedom, be my own boss, and build my dream lifestyle. This is why being an entrepreneur was so attractive to me. Take out a journal and reflect on what you want in life.

Connect with your mission and vision. Write it out, feel into it, and recite it out loud. Once you know where you want to go, you can start devising a plan for getting there. Too often, many people doubt themselves because they don’t think they’re ready to begin moving in the direction of what they want to accomplish.

News flash… “ready” is a lie. You'll never be ready for anything. There will never be a perfect time to start, so the best thing you can do is dive in, feel the fear, and do it anyway.

3. Try different things.

When was the last time that you tried something new? You won't achieve big things by playing small. It's a fact. You'll never know what your true path in life is until you get your feet wet and gain experience. The more things that you try, the closer that you'll get to your purpose.

It's only through trial and error do you figure out what you like and don't like. Yes, the act of stepping outside of your comfort zone can be terrifying. A lot of people allow their fear of the unknown to stop them from trying anything.

Trying new things and embracing failure is the very thing that will help you eliminate your fears altogether. More importantly, it will allow you to expand your mind and become a student of life.

Keep in mind that nobody is asking you to be perfect, so be willing to suck. When you experience the buffet of life, you will naturally grow into your purpose. Don't rush it. Trust the process, take action, and whatever you do, don't quit.

Are you ready to find your purpose in life?

If you want to live a life of happiness, success, and fulfillment you must live a purpose-driven life. Choose a path, give it a chance, and then decide if it aligns with who you are and what you value.

In the words of Dr. Steve Maraboli, “You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously.” The world is waiting for your gifts. It's time to stop holding back and start stepping into your power.

Tony Robbins has mastered the art of planning.

Super successful people like Tony understand that time is their most valuable resource. You cannot get time back which is why you need to maximize it. Unfortunately, a lot of people get caught up in the “I'm too busy mindset” but still don't get anything accomplished. One of the main reasons why this happens is that they don't know how to plan their days effectively. The secret to being productive lies in choosing what to do and doing it right, instead of doing more and more.

Tony Robbins' Rapid Planning Method (RPM) is a simple system that teaches you how to plan your day and manage your time. The acronym RPM stands for results, purpose and massive action. This is a way of thinking for conditioning your brain to focus on the outcome and result that you're after. I'm going to walk you through his 5-step action plan for taking back control of your life.

Step 1: Capture

Before you go through the RPM process you want to capture everything that you need to do in a given day. Naturally, you may assume that this involves making a to-do list. A lot of people get overwhelmed by lists because they don't know how to chunk and organize them in an efficient way.

You want to take your list and ask yourself, “What are the results that I want to accomplish today?” You may not be aware of it, but a lot of tasks on your list may be related to one another. Once you determine what those are and chunk them together, now you want to clarify the outcomes.

My favorite way of engaging in this process is through using Evernote. This is a productivity app that you can download to any of your digital devices. This is how I plan my day. The app allows you to keep notes, projects, ideas, and daily inspirations and synchronizes them to all your digital devices.

Step 2: Create An RPM Plan

R – Result

A question to ask yourself – “What do I really want?”

When you are planning out your day, you need to have a solid understanding of the specific and measurable result that you want to achieve. If you don't have a solid target in mind, how are you supposed to know where you are going? Clarity is power. The more clear you are on what you want, the faster your brain will get you there.

P – Purpose

A question to ask yourself – “Why do I really want it?”

A lot of people aimlessly achieve throughout their day but don't have a reason for why they are doing what they do. You need to know why you want to achieve a specific result. Tony believes that if you have enough reasons to achieve something, you can get yourself to do anything. Your purpose is the fuel that drives you towards achieving something. The next time that you find yourself lacking in motivation, connect back with your purpose. In the words of Tony Robbins, “Activity without purpose is the drain of your life.”

M – Massive Action Plan

A question to ask yourself – “What is my massive action plan?”

Now that you know what your result is and you have a purpose for it, you need to determine what your massive action plan is. The Pareto Principle states that 20% of actions are responsible for 80% of a plan's effects. This means that 80% of your output comes from 20% of your work. When you know where to devote your efforts you increase your productivity and chances of success.

Step 3: Commit And Schedule

Now that you have the specific outcomes that you want to achieve throughout your day, you need to schedule the most important things first and commit to engaging in these activities. When you schedule something you commit to doing it.

I know that it is unrealistic to assume that I am going to accomplish everything on my list in a given today. This is why I like to get clear on my “must items” and put a star beside them. My “musts” are the 20% that is going to make 80% of the difference in my life. Anything that doesn't get accomplished is moved to the next day or next week.

Throughout this process, I am constantly re-adapting my result, reminding myself of what my purpose is, and reprioritizing what is the most important thing that I need to focus on next. Once I do this, I then look at my list and determine what I can delegate to someone else.

Step 4: Complete And Achieve

The secret to getting things done isn't just getting them done. Rather, it's knowing what your outcome and purpose are, and looking for how you can leverage your work as much as possible. You want to complete the most important, highest leverage activities on your list. Ideally, I like to accomplish 3-5 activities. This will help you achieve your goals much faster.

The process of leveraging is when you are working with someone to produce your desired result. In my business, my goal is to leverage as much as possible to other people. While others may be doing most of the work, I am still actively involved in the process.

I always make sure that the people who are helping me have a solid understanding of my desired outcome, my purpose for doing so, and the actions that need to be taken. Using the power of leverage is one of the most effective ways to get more done in less time.

Step 5: Celebrate

At the end of the day or week, you need to celebrate what you've accomplished, as small as it may be. You may not get everything done that you set out to do and that's okay. Focus on the progress that you made because whatever gets rewarded, gets repeated.

When you take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the magic moments of your day, it will create the momentum that you need in order to keep going.

This is how to plan your day like Tony Robbins.

I highly recommend that you integrate his Rapid Planning Method (RPM) into your daily life. RPM has allowed me to take my productivity to the next level and achieve results faster.

If you want to dive deeper into this method, Tony has an awesome audio program that I suggest you check out on his website called The Time of Your Life. This is a 10-day program that is designed to help you create more time to do what truly matters in your life. You will learn the strategies that Tony uses in order to maximize every minute of his day with his Rapid Planning Method (RPM).

I also recommend his RPM Life Management System Journal. This planner will guide you through the RPM process and help you develop the necessary resources so that you can integrate the massive action system into your everyday life.

When you know what you want, why you want it, and what you need to do in order to achieve it, it gives you a feeling of fulfillment that transfers to every area of your life.

Finding your purpose in life is the key to unlocking a world of happiness and meaning.

We've all been given the gift of life, for free. We didn't have to achieve anything or become anyone in order to get it. As human beings, I believe that it is our responsibility to find our purpose and do something with this amazing life that we have been given.

We each have our own unique gifts and abilities. Some of us are already living our purpose, some of us have locked it away, while others are still searching for it.

Nobody is you, and that is your power. If you don't share your gifts, you are doing a disservice to yourself and the world. In the words of Edo, “We've all been given a gift, the gift of life. What we do with our lives is our gift back.”

Are you ready to learn 5 ways that you can find your purpose in life?

A purpose driven life is the only life worth living.

At some point in our lives, all of us are faced with the question, “Why am I here and what is the meaning of life?” This question makes a lot of people feel overwhelmed. They end up searching tirelessly for the answer to this question, and when they don't find it they give up. They choose a life of mediocrity instead of living the life that their soul intended for.

In his book, Start: Punch Fear in the Face, Escape Average and Do Work that Matters, Jon Acuff states that, “People are mistaken when they think chasing your dreams is a selfish thing to do. As if perhaps being average is an act of Humility. As if perhaps wasting talents you were given is proof that you’re a considerate individual. It’s not.”

What is the point of life?

A study found that individuals with high levels of eudemonic well-being — which involves having a sense of purpose along with a sense of control — tend to live longer. Life is meant to be lived. We aren't here merely to survive. Rather, we are here to thrive. If there was any reason why you should find your purpose, living a long and happy life should be the fuel that drives you.

I’ve coached hundreds of people about how to find their life's purpose.  I have found one constant that is the same amongst all of them, and that is that we all have a life purpose. Unfortunately, a lot of people lack the courage to embody it.

They wake up, go to a 9-5 that they hate. They put in 60 hours of work per week for a paycheck so that they can buy shit that they don't need. The only time that they feel good is when they receive short-term gratification from the act of purchasing a material possession. This is not a happy life. Trust me, I used to be in the rat race.

If you don't feel excited and passionate about life every single day, then something needs to change. Don't be the person that wakes up unhappy, dreading the day ahead of you.

If you aren't aligned with the path that you are currently on, go in a different direction. That is the beauty of life. At any given moment, we can choose to re-write our story. Only you know what that will look like. It starts with trusting yourself, going inward, and doing some deep soul searching.

Here are 5 ways that you can start finding your purpose in life.

1. Stop Looking For Your Purpose And Start Living It

This statement may not feel like it makes any sense. How can you find your purpose without looking for it? In my opinion, this is the only way that you find it. Get out of your head and stop thinking, “What is my reason for being on this planet?” This is where people get stuck. They spend too much time and energy thinking their way into finding their purpose in life. I believe that you've got to feel into it.

Sometimes we get stunted by the paradox of choice; when there are so many choices, it's easy to become overwhelmed and end up choosing nothing at all. Don't fall into this trap. Try different things and see how they make you feel. You will never know unless you try something.

In the words of Seth Godin, “This isn’t about waiting for the right answer, because there is no right answer. There are challenges we can sign up for and emotions we can experience. If we wait around for the right answer we’ll be waiting around forever.” If you really want to achieve your potential in life, stop searching for purpose and start living on purpose. That is where the magic lies.

2. Drop Out Of Your Head And Into Your Heart

Your heart is the seat of your intuition. When all else fails, tap into your heart intelligence. It is your best tool for accessing and harnessing your purpose in life. What makes you come alive inside? Feel into that and embrace it. A lot of people ignore their intuitive self. They live their lives trapped within their minds. As a result, they become disconnected from anything and everything that inspires them.

If you live in your head, your inner critic will be free to run wild. It will tell you that you can't do what you love because you don't have what it takes to achieve your goals. Don't buy into this story. If you allow it to, fear will take over and before you know it, you will have completely lost sight of the things that make you happy. If you don't become the master of your mind, it will become the master of you. Choose wisely.

Always be asking yourself, “What inspires me? Connect to that place, on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. If you pay attention, you will start to discover something that aligns with your soul's purpose. When in doubt, get out of your head and lead with your heart. By doing what you love, you will inspire others to do the same. There is no greater gift that you can give to someone.

3. Write A Life Purpose Statement

Writing out a life purpose statement is a way of capturing, in words, what it is that you are here to do. It answers the question, “What makes me get out of bed in the morning?” When we are too in our head, it's hard to access our creative mind.

This is why writing is so powerful. It provides the “aha” moments that we have been looking for that may have been dormant in our unconscious mind without our knowledge.

Think of a life purpose statement as a roadmap that helps guide you in the direction of your goals. I remind myself of my purpose on a daily basis and read my statement out loud to myself. Whenever I do, I get a rush of excitement because I use a lot of energy and emotion when I voice it.

Doing so helps ensure that my words become a part of who my identity. My statement is such an integral part of my life that it is framed on my wall. If there were no limits to your life, what would you do? Write it out and do the work to make those words a part of your reality.

4. Create A Vision Board

A vision board is a powerful tool for manifesting your life's purpose. It allows you to focus on and visualize your ideal future through the use of images and words. By repeatedly visualizing an event, situation, object, or person, you command your subconscious mind that THIS is what you want and this is what it must take to achieve it.

When it comes to creating a vision board, there's no one-size-fits-all approach to doing it. I encourage you to let your imagination run wild and do the work for you. Keep in mind that your vision can change over time, as can your purpose.

All that matters is that you look at your vision board every single day and imagine that you already have all of the things that you desire. I do this as part of my morning ritual. It is an activity that continues to motivate me to achieve my goals and live in alignment with my purpose.

Create a vision that makes you jump out of bed in the morning. In the words of Christine Kane, “Vision boards add clarity to your desires and feelings to your visions.”

5. Take Action

Once you have gained more clarity around what your purpose in life is, you need to start leaning into it. Nothing will work unless you do. Start living your purpose every day, even if it's just in small doses. Start to pay attention to how it feels when you make baby steps. If you are scared, use that emotion as leverage to continue propelling you forward. The trick is to shift your mindset and transform fear into excitement.

I always feel my fear and do it anyways. It is one of the reasons why I've been able to achieve so much success in my life. If you don't step out of your comfort zone, you will never be able to tap into the infinite potential that resides inside of you.

Life is whatever YOU want it to be. Don't let anyone decide how you should live your life. There is a sleeping giant that is lying dormant inside of you, waiting to be unleashed out into the world. However, you've got to the take the first step and be willing to dive into the unknown. Nobody will ever know how awesome you really are if you don't show them.

Break down your goals into small actions and take one step every day in the direction of your dreams. Let go of the need to be perfect and start today! Now is the time to take control of your destiny.

Life isn't going to stop moving, so you better start moving with it or you will get left behind. In the words of Steve Maraboli, “Take action! An inch of movement will bring you closer to your goals than a mile of intention.”

Sometimes we need someone to come along and remind us what we already know in order for us to wake up and take action. Once you do, your dreams start to become a reality.

Finding your purpose in life isn’t the end goal. It’s the beginning of a life-long journey.

Every day is a brand new opportunity to create the life that you want and become the person that you desire to be, while fully enjoying the process.

When you “find your why” and start living on purpose, life takes on a whole new meaning. You feel happy, fulfilled, and free. Is there any better feeling in this world?

Is life worth living? Is that an empowering belief system? If you were able to sit back and question this belief, you would find that you come up with a very different perspective on life.

A belief is a feeling of confidence that something is true. The reason why a belief is so important is because it determines the meaning that you give to the circumstances and events of your life.

An examination of deciding, is life worth living, needs to start with an honest process of inward self-reflection. There is so much value that life provides, if you are willing to look for it.

When was the last time that you took some time to think about what it is that makes life so meaningful? You control the meaning of your life. At any point in time, you can re-write your story.

Is life worth living? Yes! and there are so many reasons why it is.

Your beliefs determine your behaviours in life, which is why it’s so important that you adopt an empowering mindset.

If you continue to ask the question, is life worth living, you need to step back and examine what is creating this limiting belief system.

Whatever has held you back in the past from living the life that you desire, you have the power to overcome your fears and change your life. Learn from people that have already overcome the very things that hold you back from stepping into your power.

When I was younger, I was lost and confused. I didn’t know who I was and where my life was going. This is a normal process of growing up and finding your way. It isn't until you go through a process of self-discovery that you realize what your passions are. That is when the question, “Is life worth living?” becomes clear, which is why it's important to possess a passionate curiosity for learning.

Each day is an adventure in and of itself. You have no idea who you are going to meet, what you are going to learn, or who you are going to impact. Not only that, but every day is a new opportunity to grow and develop yourself.

If you are doubting or questioning your place in life, then it’s time to change your perspective and decide, is life worth living.

“In many shamanic societies, if you came to a medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, depressed, they would ask one of four questions: When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop finding comfort in the sweet territory of silence?”

Gabrielle Rothou

If you have stopped embracing everything that life has to offer, then you will start to change your mood. That’s when the question arises: is life worth living?

It’s time for you to take charge of what you are passionate about in life and what you love. And, you also need to change the belief system and question of whether life is worth it.

If there is something that you are unhappy with in your life, then you can change it. However, it takes looking at life as an adventure, to find a space for self-improvement and to begin learning about everything that the planet has to offer.

Once you begin to look at this perspective, it will change your outlook on life.

Personal growth and development is one of the best ways to discover your mission life. Step back and ask yourself, “What makes me come alive inside?” It’s not our possessions that make us happy, but rather the people who uplift us, and the empowering experiences that inspire us to become the best versions of ourselves.

No matter what job you have, how much money you have in your bank account, or where you came from in life, I believe that there is nothing more important than living a life of service. When you begin to do this, it changes the perspective of when you ask, is life worth living. I have dedicated my career to serving and being of value to others.

The Dalai Lama said it best, “We are visitors on this planet. We are here for one hundred years at the very most. During that period we must try to do something good, something useful, with our lives. if you contribute to other people's happiness, you will find the true meaning of life.”

Having a vision is what makes life more exciting and worthwhile, which is why I created a book called, My Life Plan. It represents my passions, purpose, and the ultimate vision for my life.

In that book, I break down my life into 7 core areas, a model that I originally learned from Tony Robbins.

In his book, Your Life On Purpose: How to Find What Matters and Create the Life You Want, Matthew McKay points out that he has noticed a recurring problem: Everyone wants to live rich and meaningful lives, but we get mired in setting goals and directions that are disconnected from our core values.

How often do you see someone who has wealth, but they seem depressed or confused about their direction?

They have experienced fame and have risen to the top, but then have other problems that cause them to lose out on the experience.

There is one, core issue which is related to these issues continuing to arise. Not having a life purpose and not creating meaning for yourself leads to a negative outcome.

Unless you begin to understand the core of who you are and what your purpose is on life, you will continue to ask the question, is life worth living?

Diving deeply into who you are and what you want to do in this life is not an overnight epiphany. It takes work and committment to yourself to break through what is holding you back from living how you really desire and from being fulfilled.

It may mean changing certain habits in your life that are not fulfilling or which cause you to lose a sense of purpose in your life.

It means digging into the deeper parts of your true self to find out how to authentically live and to determine who you are.

When you begin to look at your passion and purpose, you have to break through the areas of your life which don’t serve you and let them go. In this way, you can find what does work and what you should embrace as a part of your true self.

If after reading this blog, you are still wondering, “Is life worth living?”, I challenge you to question that belief system, go inward, discover what it is that makes you come alive inside, and then go do those things.

I want to share with you 5 ways to get motivated. Motivation is the energy that inspires you to set and achieve your goals. It is one of the most important predictors of success in life. Without it, results are impossible.

Anything of value in life requires an immense amount of commitment, hard work, patience, and sacrifice. In other words, the most successful people in the world persevere, despite pain and discomfort.

Can you think of a time when you felt like you were in a slump and had zero energy to do anything? If so, you aren’t alone. Even the most motivated of people can feel unmotivated at times.

Motivation is power; it gives us the ability to shape and create our destinies. Tony Robbins said it best,Change is never a matter of ability; its always a matter of motivation.” What motivates you to work hard and achieve your goals?

Motivation is the foundation of all action in life. Getting motivated can be challenging at times, which is why having success strategies in place to support you will help make the process more manageable. Below are 5 ways to get motivated:

1. Create A Vision For Your Life

Motivation becomes strong when you have a clear image of what it is that you want to achieve. Pursuing my goals doesn’t require motivation. Why? Because I have a clear vision for my life.

Take a moment, go beyond your current state of living, and visualize what your ideal life would look like. Imagine the type of environment you live in, the partner that you have, the experiences you are having, and the type of work that you are doing.

There is no right or wrong. All that matters is that your vision motivates you. At the end of your life, what matters most is not what you acquired, but who you became. Don’t settle.

2. Find Your ‘Why’

Your ‘why' is your purpose; it is what inspires you to get out of bed every day. You need to determine the reasons why your vision is important to you.

For example, let's say that you want to build an online business. What is your ‘why' for wanting to do that? It could be to experience freedom, to be your own boss, or to be able to take care of your family.

Whatever your reasons are, they are what will pull you towards the accomplishment of your goals. When you find your ‘why', use it to channel your motivation.

3. Adopt A Learning Mindset

In an ever-changing world, the single best investment that you can make in life is a lifelong commitment and curiosity for learning. Lifelong learners are motivated to grow because they want to.

Read books, watch videos, invest in training programs, attend seminars, workshops, and networking events – these environments will give you the motivation to make things happen.

For example, if you want to build an online business, read books about people like Warren Buffett, Richard Branson, Sam Walton, and Elon Musk. The stories of successful people like this will inspire you. Investing in your learning is one of the best gifts that you can give yourself.

4. Find a Mentor or Hire A Coach

The best way to harness the power of motivation is to surround yourself with people who have high standards and who are achieving great things in life.

In his book, The Power of HabitThe Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business, Charles Duhigg suggests that the people you surround yourself with can play a role on your habits and behaviours.

Find a mentor or hire a coach who can motivate and hold you accountable. I have many coaches and mentors in my life. These people have helped me achieve my goals faster. In the words of John Crosby, “A mentor is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction.”

5. Fall In Love With The Process, Not The Results

The most successful people in the world understand how to shift their attitude about the journey, so that the process towards achieving a goal is just as fulfilling as actually achieving it.

In order to attain mastery, you need to fall in love with the process. A lot of people want to achieve success, but they aren't committed to taking the steps in order to get there. If you only attach yourself to the results, your motivation will dwindle.

Carl Rogers said it best, “The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” Learn how to fall in love with the learning process, because that is where the magic happens.

I hope these 5 ways to get motivated have inspired you to master motivation and find the drive that you need in order to achieve your goals. Are you ready to take your motivation to a whole new level?

4 Skills That Every Successful Entrepreneur Must Master https://projectlifemastery.com/successful-entrepreneur/ https://projectlifemastery.com/successful-entrepreneur/#respond Thu, 20 Jul 2017 00:33:02 +0000 http://projectlifemastery.com/?p=6496 Entrepreneurship is a challenging career choice. I would like to share with you 4 skills that every successful entrepreneur MUST master. In order to succeed in today's ever-changing and ultra-competitive business world, you need to possess a unique mix of competencies to help tackle the myriad of challenges that arise.

Everyone starts somewhere. Even the most successful entrepreneurs in the world have gone through the process of building their skills and improving their strengths. Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs get stuck in their ways and forget to invest in their greatest asset – themselves.

Research shows that nine out of ten startups will fail. This is bleak news for many aspiring entrepreneurs, but if you take the time and effort to master these skills, you will be one step ahead of your competitors.

Someone once said, “Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won't, so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can't.” Are you ready to learn what it takes in order to master your business?

Do you want to learn how to accelerate the process of mastering your online business? CLICK HERE to join my Online Business Mastery program!

Below are 4 skills that every successful entrepreneur must master:

1. Self-Confidence

Starting a company is both an exciting and overwhelming feat. At some point in their career, every entrepreneur experiences feelings of self-doubt.

Without self-confidence, becoming a successful entrepreneur is impossible. If you don't believe in yourself, how do you expect anyone to believe in you? The most effective way to grow your self-confidence is to step outside your comfort zone.

Doing the very thing that you think you cannot do will build your self-esteem so that you can master any challenge that stands in your way of success. In the words of Samuel Johnson, “Self-confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings.”

2. Integrity

If there is one value that every entrepreneur should live by, it's to build a reputation of integrity and credibility. You are the face of your brand. Warren Buffett said it best, “In looking for people to hire, look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if they don’t have the first one, the other two will kill you.”

You are the face of your brand. When it comes to purchasing products or services, the reality is that people buy from people that they like. Your success in becoming an entrepreneur will be determined by the number of people who trust you.

Commit to being honest in everything that you do and say. In the world of entrepreneurship, success will come and go, but integrity withstands the test of time.

3. Innovation

In today's digital world, entrepreneurial success requires the production of innovative ideas and cutting-edge solutions. Innovative entrepreneurs make a difference; they question, observe, network, and experiment every day in order to generate new ideas.

It doesn't matter how many hours you invest in building your business. None of it will matter if you aren't harnessing the power of innovation. In today's world, entrepreneurs need to think smart, not hard.

The founders of the most innovative companies in the world, like Amazon, changed the game by creating new business ideas that nobody had thought of before. If you want to create a sustainable online business that has a strong brand and client base, never stop improving your business.

4. Resilience

You won't last long as an entrepreneur if you aren't resilient. Resilience is defined as the ability to bounce back from adversity and come back stronger than ever. Everyday entrepreneurs are faced with a myriad of difficult decisions that test their emotional and mental capacities.

Entrepreneurial success requires that you stay calm under pressure, possess a positive attitude, and view failure as an opportunity to grow. If you are passionate about your business, these are some core resiliency skills that you need to develop.

Being able to overcome challenges takes sheer perseverance, courage, and the belief that what you’re doing has a purpose. If you don't have a strong why you won't get far in the business world. When challenges arise, remember that tough times don't last, but tough people do.

These are 4 skills that every successful entrepreneur must master. If you have time to invest in your business, you have time to invest in yourself. Mastering these skills will allow you to take your business to the next level and be one step ahead of your competition!

How To Find Meaning In Life https://projectlifemastery.com/how-to-find-meaning-in-life/ https://projectlifemastery.com/how-to-find-meaning-in-life/#respond Mon, 12 Jun 2017 20:34:12 +0000 http://projectlifemastery.com/?p=6355 A meaningful life brings happiness. It all starts with your mindset. Do you want to know how to find meaning in life? Click here to learn how!

The post How To Find Meaning In Life appeared first on Project Life Mastery.

I would like to respond to a question that I received on Snapchat from one of my follower’s by the name of Noah, who asked me to reflect on how to find meaning in life. This topic brings into question the myriad of limiting beliefs that people have about themselves and the world.

We all have limiting beliefs that hold us back from achieving our goals and dreams. However, at any given moment, we have the power to change those beliefs. Finding meaning in life may seem incomprehensible, but if you commit to shifting your mindset, your entire life will transform, giving you the power to create a life that is rich in meaning.

In the words of Brian Tracy, “You begin to fly when you let go of self-limiting belief and allow your mind and aspirations to rise to greater heights.” Are you ready to let go of your limiting beliefs and find meaning in life?

Watch the video below:

Do you want to learn how to create a morning ritual that will help you find meaning in life? CLICK HERE to purchase my course, Morning Ritual Mastery!

Noah shared some of this story with me, saying that, “Sometimes I lose motivation because I feel that life has no point. I’m not depressed. I’m a very happy person. For example, I’ve worked hard, got all A’s in school, but I don’t feel like I’ve benefited from it at all. Could you talk about happiness and fulfillment and how to succeed at life?”

The first point that I want to touch on from Noah’s comment is when he expresses that, “Life has no point.” Noah, if you truly believe this, then that is a very disempowering belief that is going to hold you back in life. Why wake up every day and achieve a goal if you believe that life has no meaning? Why do anything?

This limiting belief system is something that you need to change. Is it really true that life has no point? I would argue, no. Be honest with yourself and start to question this belief. Ask yourself, “Is it possible that I’ve misinterpreted an event or circumstance in my life? Is it possible that other people don’t have this belief, and instead, believe that life is full of meaning and joy?”

Do you want to learn how to become the master of your own happiness in all areas of your life? CLICK HERE to join my program, Life Mastery Accelerator?

One thing that I’ve learned from years of coaching people is that you always have to take someone’s challenge and define it in solvable terms. Noah, you need to understand that this is JUST a belief, and you have the power to shift it at any time. It’s hard to change your entire life, but it’s easy to change a pattern or a belief.

Only YOU control the meaning of your life. Whatever you tell yourself will be true for you, whether or it’s based in reality or not. If you believe that life has no point, then that is what you are going to manifest.

What is the more empowering perspective that you could take towards life? We so often take life for granted and don’t take pleasure in the little things. Instead, we drown in worry and fear, which inhibits our ability to be present and grateful. We dwell on what we don’t have, instead of being happy for what we do have.

Noah, it sounds like you haven’t found a purpose for your life yet, something that empowers and drives you. What do you want your life to be about? Just decide. Martin Luther King once said, “A man or a woman that hasn’t yet found something that they are willing to die for, isn’t fit to live.”

Do you want to learn how to create a morning ritual that will help you find meaning in life? CLICK HERE to purchase my course, Morning Ritual Mastery!

Noah, the second point that you made that I want to touch on is that you expressed that you have received straight A’s in school, but that you don’t feel that you received any benefit from it. This is also a limiting belief that you have. Again, I’m going to challenge you. Did school teach you to show up and be consistent? Did school projects improve your memory and focus? Did you learn how to work hard and follow through on a task and do a good job? Of course! The list goes on and on.

The problem is that you aren’t seeing them because you’ve got blinders on. Train your mind to focus on the good because there is value in everything IF you look for it. Every day, ask yourself, “What is the benefit of this experience?” Make it a priority to find more joy in the richness of life.

Lastly, you asked me to comment on how to be happy and fulfilled in life. The best advice that I can give you is that you have to focus on the good things that already exist in your life. You don’t have to achieve something grandiose in order to experience true happiness. Happiness is an inside job.

It’s not the events of your life that create happiness. Rather, it’s the meaning that you ascribe to those events. Commit to living your life to the fullest, regardless of your circumstances in life, because happiness is a choice.

Another piece of advice that I can give you is that, if you don’t already have a morning ritual, you need one. This is a practical way to start conditioning your mind to focus on the good every day so that you can experience a rich and happy life. I have tons of free content on morning rituals on my blog, or you can purchase my course, Morning Ritual Mastery.

This course will teach you how to train your mind to be happy and to shift the negative beliefs that are holding you back from success in life. I also have an inexpensive monthly mentoring program called, Life Mastery Accelerator that you may benefit from. It teaches you how to succeed and master every area of your life.

Noah, I hope that these insights have inspired and motivated you. Be aware of your limiting beliefs, make a conscious effort to shift them, create an empowering ritual, and find happiness from the small things in life. Get out of your head and into your heart. This is how you will find meaning in life.

In the words of Victor Frankl, “The meaning of life is to give life meaning.” Don’t give up until you’ve found it.

The post GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE appeared first on Project Life Mastery.

I want to share with you why is it imperative that you get out of your comfort zone. It’s easy to get stuck in a comfort zone because it feels safe, stress-free, and stable. We are creatures of habit. However, in reality, a comfort zone isn’t comfortable at all. It is a place that encourages fear, boredom, and stagnation.

Our ability to take risks and step outside of our comfort zones is the way in which we grow and evolve. If we don’t, we will get left behind. If you want to succeed in life, you need to challenge yourself. Why? In the words of Ginny Rometty, “Growth and comfort do not coexist.”

In his book, Self-Renewal: The Individual and the Innovative Society, John Gardner expressed that “We pay a heavy price for our fear of failure…it assures the progressive narrowing of the personality and prevents exploration and experimentation.” The lesson here is that if you want to keep learning, you need to keep failing.

There is a myth in society that comfort should be the main goal in peoples’ lives. I believe that when someone chooses to live a life of comfort, they settle and lack a sense of purpose. As a result, people have been conditioned to believe that the struggles they are experiencing today are only temporary, and on the other side there is nothing but rainbows and butterflies. This is far from true. Comfort is the enemy.

People who adopt this mindset believe that they know everything, which creates arrogance. In turn, they end up closing themselves off to learning new things. The three most dangerous words in the human vocabulary are, “I know that.” When you achieve success in life, it is so important that you remain humble and driven.

The most successful people in the world are always trying to learn and improve. They embrace risk and challenges because they view these experiences as opportunities to stretch themselves. If you get to a point where you believe that you have “made it” in your career, don’t stop growing.

There was a time in my life when I made this mistake. I achieved such a high level of success that I didn’t feel that I had to work hard anymore. Shortly afterward, I was bored and depressed because I didn’t have a sense of purpose. Get out of your comfort zone. Yes, it can be scary and uncomfortable to do something that doesn’t feel natural, but I promise you that on the other side is a sense of aliveness and freedom that is unexplainable.

Never stop making progress towards achieving your goals and becoming the person that you aspire to be. Your highest self demands that you do so. The hardest part is taking the first step, but you will be amazed at how quickly you can adapt and thrive in this new territory. In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, “Do one thing every day that scares you.” Take a leap of faith and get out of your comfort zone today. Greatness awaits you!

I would like to answer a question that someone sent me recently on Snapchat regarding how to make $100,000 in a year.  The amount of money that you make in your life right now, is in direct proportion to the amount of value that you are adding to your employer, company, marketplace, or business.

If you want to make more money, ask yourself, “What are the skills and qualities that I need to develop in order to become more valuable, and what value do I need to contribute to others in order to make $100,000 in a year?”  At the age of 17, I became obsessed with the world of self-development. I started reading a lot of books, which led me to attend seminars and workshops, which then led me to buy online training programs, which then led me to hiring coaches and mentors to further support my growth. I have been rinsing and repeating this process for the last 13 years of my life. This is how I became a multi-millionaire.

If you want to achieve success in life, you need to build a strong foundation, by way of developing your skills and talents. As Jim Rohn said, “Your income seldom exceeds your level of personal development.” The more you grow, the more money that you will make. It’s that simple.

Do you want to know the 7 online business models that have made me an Internet millionaire in less than 3 years? CLICK HERE to access my free course!

I am constantly learning and growing.  Last month alone, I attended four different seminars, investing thousands of dollars into myself.  View yourself as a competitive product with features and benefits, all waiting to be improved upon year over year (Quast, 2013).  When you do so, you will differentiate yourself from others.  I am successful because my products and services give people results. However, that only happens because I put in what I give out. If you are an entrepreneur, you need to understand that you get paid for solving other peoples’ problems, at a profit.

I know that the more people I impact and add massive value to, the more success I will achieve in my business. I put my needs secondary to the needs of my audience, because I want to understand whom it is that I am communicating with and supporting. I know that if I over-deliver, people will like and trust me, and in turn buy from me again and again.

The best way to sum up how to make $100,000 in a year comes down to doing two things – grow and give. This is my ultimate purpose in life. Contribute beyond yourself and strive to make a difference in the lives of others. When you do, you will experience a sense of true fulfillment. In the words of Bo Sanchez, “Earn more to grow more, and grow more to give more.”
