The knowledge business is a $129 billion dollar per year industry.

Self-education has become the new norm, in large part, due to the Internet. More and more people are consuming content online, via blog posts, YouTube channels, and podcasts. More importantly, they are taking action with the knowledge that they are consuming. They are doing things like investing in training programs and courses, attending seminars and joining Mastermind Groups.

In many ways, self-directed learning is more efficient. Whereas traditional education focuses on broad knowledge, self-directed learning focuses on specialized knowledge. In the words of James Altucher, “We’re in an idea-based economy and a skill-based economy, not a certificate-based economy.”

The knowledge industry provides a lot of opportunities for you to grow. In his book, Talent Is Overrated: What Really Separates World-Class Performers from Everybody Else, Geoff Colvin argues that niche expertise is essential to become a top performer and reach your highest potential.

The benefits of being an expert are far-reaching. Not only will you be deemed as credible by others, but the skills that you offer will set you apart from industry competitors. Even better, people will pay you more for your products and services.

Ultimately, the #1 reason why you should learn how to become an expert in your industry is for the impact that you will make on peoples' lives. At the end of the day, that's the most rewarding part of the entire process towards becoming an expert. If you make it your focus to serve others,  you will naturally get rewarded with the credibility, respect, and money that you deserve.

Here are five steps that will allow you to become an expert in your industry.

1. Study

Once you've identified the niche that you want to be an expert in, you've got to study. If you want to become an expert, you've got to take your own self-education very seriously. You can't just read a few books and call yourself an expert. Rather, you have to go deep with knowledge so that you know a subject inside, out.

I take what I do very seriously. My work is more than just a hobby or a passion. This is why, over the last 15+ years, I've been working on myself every single day. I am always investing in coaches, trainers, and joining Mastermind Groups. By investing in myself, I am also investing in my expertise, which in turn, allows me to add more value to others.

2. Apply

I believe that the best way to to learn is by doing. Knowledge means nothing unless you apply it. There's a big difference between absorbing information and putting what you've learned into practice. Without doing the latter, the training you've received will go to waste. Don't be a seminar junkie, otherwise known as someone who consumes information but does nothing with it. This will only limit your experience and your ability to actually impact people.

When I went to University in my early 20's I took one marketing course. I dropped out in the first semester because the professor that I was learning from studied marketing out of a textbook. He had never actually run a business before. I would much rather learn from someone that has actually applied whatever it is that they are talking about. I ended up dropping out of college. It was the best decision that I've ever made.

3. Get Results

People are looking for people who are getting results in their lives. You can do something once in a while, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to get results from it. This is why you've got to apply what you learn on a consistent basis. Doing so allows you to show others that you actually know what you're talking about. This is where expertise comes into play. In the words of Jill Koenig, “Results will show up when you do.”

4. Share Or Teach

If you want to become an expert, you must share or teach what you know. This is one of the best ways to learn and master something. Knowledge isn't meant to be hoarded. Rather, it is meant to be shared with others. Research shows that in the information age, sharing knowledge and connecting with people is critical for success, innovation and picking up on the early signals of change.

When you share something that you teach, you learn it twice. The information that I share forces me to practice what I preach every single day. I can't expect people to do what I say if I'm not doing it myself. I teach things that make a difference in peoples' lives, which in turn, supports my personal growth and development as well. It's a win-win.

When I first started Project Life Mastery in 2012, I wasn't an expert. I was just sharing my goals, successes, failures, and challenges. By no means did I wait until I was an expert to share my knowledge. I simply came at it from the position of being passionate about things that had personally benefitted me. Once people started getting results from the content that I was sharing, they perceived me to be an expert.

5. Get Credibility

You gain credibility and are viewed as an expert once you've established yourself in the first four levels. Doing things like publishing books; speaking to large audiences; and being a guest writer on different online magazines, like Forbes or Entrepreneur, all help to elevate your credibility.

Even having a certain number of followers on your social media channels helps. It shows people that you are someone who others want to follow. More importantly, it shows that you are someone who has built a brand, which further supports your message.

Now that you know how to become an expert in your industry, it's time to take action!

I encourage you to follow the above five steps. The world needs more people like you that want to serve and become a leader in their industry. Whether you know it or not, you already have value to give to people. Share your knowledge and wisdom with others. That is what will allow you to help others while building your expertise at the same time.

A Mastermind Group has the power to change every area of your life.

For those of you who don't know, a Mastermind Group is a small, intimate group of like-minded people who are committed to pursuing and achieving a similar goal.

Who you surround yourself with is who you become. It is one of the most important decisions that you can make.

Your environment literally shapes your entire life. As the late great, Jim Rohn once said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

Are you ready to learn how you can create a Mastermind Group and surround yourself with success?

Do you surround yourself with successful people?

Think about your close circle of friends. Do these people inspire you to achieve greatness or do they drag you down and leave you feeling unmotivated? If it's the latter, it's time to re-evaluate your friendships.

In his new book, Big Potential: How Transforming the Pursuit of Success Raises Our Achievement, Happiness, and Well-Being, happiness researcher Shawn Achor says that the people around us matter. He explains how any of us can create a “star system” of people who help us reach our potential in life. In his words, “The height of your potential is predicted by the people you surround yourself with.”

Make it a priority to surround yourself with people who hold you to a higher standard than you hold yourself. It's always uncomfortable being around others who are smarter than you. However, this is what will help you raise your game and level up your life. In my experience, the best to maximize your success is by being a part of a Mastermind Group.

The Mastermind Group concept was formally introduced by Napoleon Hill in his book, Think and Grow Rich. Hill described the Mastermind principle as, “The coordination of knowledge and effort between two or more people who work towards a definite purpose in a spirit of harmony.” A Mastermind Group is like having your own personal board of advisors. You may meet up with this group, either in-person or virtually, on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis. The purpose of this meeting is to support and help one another reach your personal and professional goals.

For example, let's say that you are trying to build an online business.

You will probably find that this is a hard thing to do on your own. By being a part of a Mastermind Group, you can share and leverage one another's experiences. If there are ten people in a group who are on the same path as you are, all of a sudden you get access to ten different skillsets. Group members may notice things in yourself that you may not even be aware of.

In your meetings, you can share challenges, insights, and ask for feedback on how you can reach the next level in your development. How valuable is that? In a Mastermind Group session, there is something called a mastermind hot seat. This is where you get 20 minutes to be in the spotlight and present your challenge, goal or a question that you have to the group members. The job of the group members is to give you all of their time, attention, focus and expertise. Your job is to merely listen, take notes, and be open to receiving their feedback.

A Mastermind Group has changed my life in so many ways. I'm a part of several different groups comprised of high-level, like-minded entrepreneurs. A path-breaking new study on how we seek similarity in relationships upends the idea that “opposites attract.” Instead, it suggests that we’re drawn to people who are like-minded. The networks and relationships that I've been able to build from the groups that I am a part of have accelerated my business growth dramatically.

If you have expertise in a given area, you can make a profit from your masterminding efforts.

For example, Tatiana and I facilitate two mastermind events per year called, The Online Business Mastery Mastermind. This is for business owners who want to build their businesses and receive mentorship from both of us. This group meets once a week and receives the accountability that they need in order to continue making progress on their goals. It's one of my favorite things to do. I get to work with my best clients and create long-lasting friendships with them. I've actually ended up hiring and working with some of my clients through a Mastermind Group.

If you are an influencer, coach, speaker or author, that means that you have followers who would pay you money for your expertise. You can build a profitable business doing this. People will pay more money for in-person experiences than they will for YouTube videos or courses. People want to be a part of networks like this.

If you don't have an area of expertise, you can still turn a Mastermind Group into a business by acting as a facilitator. Reach out to influencers, coaches, speakers or authors and ask them if they have a Mastermind Group. If they don't, organize one for them! You would handle all of the logistics and organize the Mastermind Group for an expert in a specific niche. You and the expert would work out a revenue split, based on the value that you provide.

Lastly, you could join a Mastermind Group just for the sake of reaping the benefits.

For example, let's say that you want to build a personal training business. You could find other personal trainers that have already encountered the same challenges that you may be going through and create a Mastermind Group with them. It's easier than ever before to create a group like this. The Internet has provided such an easy way for us to connect with one other.

Join Facebook groups, find people on YouTube or on Instagram and reach out to them. Tell them that you're putting together a group of ten other personal trainers and that the purpose of this group will be to help each other build your businesses. A lot of personal trainers would love this idea! Being in a group of like-minded people who are moving towards the same goal is invaluable.

Make it a priority to surround yourself with success.

The most successful people surround themselves with successful people. It's that simple. Create an empowering environment to support your goals and long-term vision. Creating a Mastermind Group is one of the most powerful ways that you can to accelerate your success in life. Are you ready to start masterminding?

My mentors have changed my life.

Mentorship has shaped me into who I am today. The knowledge and wisdom that I have obtained from my mentors have helped me create the massive success that I have right now in my life. Through the act of storytelling, I am going to teach you how to get a mentor into your life. In my personal experience working with people, I have found that telling stories is one of the most powerful ways through which I am able to influence, teach and inspire people.

This is supported by research that shows that storytelling helps with learning because stories are easy to remember. Organizational psychologist, Peg Neuhauser found that learning which stems from a well-told story is remembered more accurately, and for far longer, than learning derived from facts and figures. The best way to learn is when you don't even know that you're consciously aware that you are learning.

When I was 18 years I didn't know anybody in my life that was successful – my friends, family, peers or co-workers were not successful. Honestly, they were living average lives. Deep down, I knew that I wanted more from my life. I had a desire to become confident, attract an amazing woman into my life, and create financial freedom and abundance. However, I knew that the people in my life were holding me back.

Your environment is always influencing you. Proximity is power. You are the average of the five people that you spend the most time with. By surrounding yourself with people who are more successful than you, it motivates you to raise your standards and level up your life. One of my favorite quotes is – “If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room.”

I purposefully put myself in environments with people who are more successful than I am.

As a result, I have been able to learn and grow at a much faster pace. It doesn't necessarily feel good. It definitely requires that you check your ego at the door. However, the only way to truly raise your game is by stepping outside of your comfort zone and facing your fears. When I was 17 years old, I was shy, depressed and had low self-esteem. When I was in high school, I got bullied a lot. I was a video game nerd who did anything in order to isolate myself from the world.  I started reading books and engaging with people on message boards.

More than anything, I wanted to develop my self-confidence and attract a woman into my life. I started consuming a lot of knowledge online about how to do so. However, I was becoming a keyboard jockey, meaning that I knew all of the information about how to change my life, but I wasn't applying that knowledge. In effect, I was at level 1 of mastery, which is knowing. You can know what to do, but not do what you know.

When I was 18 years old, I knew that I had to find a mentor, a Mastermind Group, and coaches who could help me take action. If I continued to sit in front of a computer consuming knowledge my life was never going to change.

At the time, I was living in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

I remember finding a message board comprised of a small community of men who were going out every weekend to meet and attract women. I had so much anxiety just being around these people because I was extremely anti-social. Just getting out of the house was a big deal for me. These men were all further ahead then myself in terms of their confidence. They were a lot older than me and had experience meeting women. That day changed my life. Those men inspired me to become a new version of myself. They became my mentors. Automatically, my belief system shifted about what was possible. The level of maturity that I gained from these experiences was invaluable. If they could have confidence, I knew that I could as well.

When I was 18 years old, I met a man named Zan Perrion. He was a well-known person in the seduction community and was considered to be a dating guru. His philosophy and mindset towards relationships were amazing. He was putting on his very first seminar in Vancouver. He was someone that I looked up to so I knew that I had to find a way to attend. The problem was that the seminar was $500. At the time, I was working at a car dealership as a lot boy. I was only getting paid $10 per hour, but I was determined to do whatever it took to come up with the money. That's exactly what I did. At the seminar, I was the most committed person in that room because I valued the information that he was sharing so much.

Every word that Zan said, I absorbed and wrote down as if it were the Gospel.

I showed Zan all of the notes that I took. He was so impressed by how I captured his words. At that moment, Zan saw potential in me, so much so that he asked me to send him my notes. I had added massive value to him. That is what started our mentoring relationship. I learned so much from him, and still do to this day.

Last year I interviewed Zan on my YouTube channel and at one point, he even asked me to be a coach for his business. This story is a testament to the power of putting yourself in environments where there is a chance that you could meet and attract a mentor into your life. Mentors want to help people that are committed to elevating their lives. They don't want to work with people who are lazy dabblers.

By the time that I was 21 years old, I made such a transformation in every area of my life. This is when I started my first business called, Lifestyle Transformations. We were providing coaching and seminars for men to help them develop their social skills and confidence. That was the first time that I started to develop a high-income skill. I realized that I needed to surround myself with more mentors.

I decided to put on an event called “The Ultimate Transformation Super Conference.” My idea behind it was that I was going to use the event to attract high-level mentors in my life by adding value to them. When I was planning the event, I decided to reach out to each of my mentors.

One of these people was Wade Lightheart, who is a 3-time vegan bodybuilding champion.

I looked up to Wade so much because I had the desire to change my physique during that stage of my life. Because of this, I asked him if he would come to speak at my event. I told him that I would fill up the room with 100 people and that he would have the opportunity to meet a lot of other incredible speakers as well. He agreed to speak at my event, for free.

I also reached out to Darren Jacklin, who is an inspirational speaker and corporate trainer. My focus was on adding value to these men by providing a platform from which they could grow their influence. By doing so, I was aligning with their goals and building a relationship with each of them.

Another person that I reached out to was Scott Humphrey who is Tony Robbins' brother-in-law. He also spoke at the event. I knew that if I had these types of names, I could sell each ticket and that's exactly what I did.

We had 100 people show up for the event and it was a massive success. From that moment onwards, each of those men would become my mentors. After the event, I went for dinner with Darren Jacklin and he told me that I was going to be a millionaire by the time I was 30 years old because I was so committed at such an early age. When he said that, it meant the world to me. I had never had anybody believe in me as he did. Sure enough, I became a millionaire at 28 years old. He helped me achieve that goal.

There was a time in my life when I was living in San Diego for a few months.

I had made a vision board for my life. I knew that I wanted to end up in California, so I decided to go for it. At the time, I was living in hostels. Funny enough, Darren Jacklin had invited me to go to a big event in Anaheim. Some of the top self-development speakers in the industry were going to be there. I knew that I had to find a way to get there, so I took the train from San Diego to Anaheim. I shared a room with a bunch of friends so that we could save money. Again, I was making it my mission to get into close proximity with successful people.

When I was at the event, I met some of my future mentors, like Mark Victor Hansen, Frank McGuire, Brob Proctor, and John Assaraf. This was at a time in my life when I was trying to build my business. At the event, I met Tony Robbins' son. As many of you know, Tony has made a huge impact on my life.

I approached Jairek Robbins. I asked him, “How can I add value to your life?” When a lot of people approach mentors, their focus is on taking from them. If you do this, you end up repelling people. The best way to create a long-term relationship with anyone is by serving them. By adding value to peoples' lives, they will want to reciprocate at some point. Jairek asked me what I do and I told him that I was looking to learn online marketing. He said, “Funny enough. I'm speaking at a marketing event next month in Los Angeles.” He asked me if I wanted to attend as his guest. I was blown away by his generosity.

I took a train to the event. That experience ended up changing my life even more.

While I was there, I met Eli Wilde, who is the top salesperson for Tony Robbins' company. Over time, we became friends and to this day we are still close.

I asked Jairek to be my business coach. However, the minimum coaching package that he offered was $500 per month. I was so committed to be mentored by him that I went back to Vancouver and lived on my friend's couch for one year. It's fair to say that I made a lot of sacrifices so that I could save money and get that mentored by Jairek. Because of that decision, I ended up making a lot of shifts in my life.

This is how to get a mentor, even when you can't afford one.

Nobody achieves success on their own. If you put in the work and find mentors the right way, there is no limit to what you can achieve in life. Think about who you want to have as a mentor and why. From there, make it your priority to add massive value to the people who have already achieved what it is that you want in life. In the words of Tim Sanders, “Your network is your net worth.”

Attracting a mentor should be your #1 priority.

I am a big believer in the power of mentorship. It is one of the major reasons why I have been able to accomplish so much in my life at a relatively young age.

Don't learn from your own experience. That's far too painful.

By leveraging the expertise and knowledge of people who have been where you want to go, you can shortcut your learning curve and accelerate your results.

Are you ready to attract the mentor of your dreams?

A mentor doesn't give you all the answers to life's questions.

Rather, the job of a great mentor is to challenge and question your beliefs and views on life. They give you the space to decide who you really want to be, instead of being the person that you think you should be. By giving you their success strategies, it allows you to compress time. That is the smartest and most effective way of achieving anything in life.

Unfortunately, a lot of people stubbornly try to figure things out on their own. I hate to break it to you, but if you are doing this, you are wasting your time. The Mark Zuckerbergs and Steve Jobses of the world didn't reach their goals alone. A research study showed that 93 percent of startups admit that mentorship is instrumental to success.

The problem is that a lot of people misunderstand what it means to have a mentor and how to find one. Mentorship cannot be bought. Rather, it can only be earned. Here are 5 steps to attracting a mentor in your life. These strategies have worked for me since I first started working with mentors at the age of 20.

1. Make A List Of 3 People That You Want To Be Mentored By

Finding the right mentor is all about having the self-awareness of what it is that you want to learn. If you just ask someone to be your mentor without knowing your “why”, you are setting yourself up for failure.

I recommend that one of your mentors be a long-term goal, like a Bill Gates or a Warren Buffett. The other two mentors should be people that are more easily accessible to you, whether that's an author, an online influencer, or a successful person that you already know.

2. Focus On Adding Value To Mentors

In order to add value effectively, you need to learn more about the people that you want to be mentored by. Do your research and determine what their goals and values are. Think about how you can help to free up their time. You've got to put yourself in the shoes of the mentor.

If you try to take value from a mentor, they will resist. Mentors want to be surrounded by people that add value to them. Why will it be worthwhile for someone to mentor you? By overdelivering, you will instantly be on someone's radar.

3. Become A Person Of Value

Strive to become the kind of person that mentors want to spend time with. This will require that you build yourself up to the point where you are on the same level as your mentors. There is no way that mentors will know you as a person of value if you cannot prove that you are a valuable person.

Commit to your own personal growth and development. I promise that if you work on yourself and change your life, everything will change for you. In the words of Edgar Friedenbar, “What we must decide is perhaps how we are valuable, rather than how valuable we are.”

4. Put Yourself In Close Proximity To Your Mentors

Proximity is power. You need to put yourself in the environments where your mentors will be. You can't expect them to come to you. You've got to show up to their events, attend their seminars, or go to their mastermind events, wherever that may be in the world.

This is one of the ways that I've met a lot of my mentors and coaches. When you surround yourself with other like-minded people, it inspires you to achieve more in life. As the saying goes, “If you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room.” Step outside of your comfort zone, drop your ego and put yourself in environments where you know nothing. That's where the real learning happens.

5. Follow-Up With Your Mentors Consistently

Once you are on your mentor's radar, you want to stay on their radar. I have a Google spreadsheet where I make a list of all the people that I meet or want to be around. I consistently reach out to each of them. This ensures that I keep our relationship going strong. Having that consistent follow-up is key.

Your net worth is your network. It is your most important asset. When I meet people that I respect and admire, I strive to learn more about them. For example, if I know that they are into something, I'll send them a gift, without expecting anything in return. Doing so ensures that they are always seeing my name pop up, again and again.

Attracting a mentor is the first step to being successful at anything in life.

If you want to attract incredible mentors into your life, I encourage you to implement these strategies. I have been extremely fortunate to have attracted some amazing mentors in my life who have helped me achieve the success that I have today. Discover How NOT To Make a Lot of Money

Dan Lok and I are back to talk about how to become a millionaire, which starts with deconstructing why people don't become wealthy.

In a world where there are so many opportunities to achieve financial independence, there is still a large percentage of people who never experience true wealth. A lot of people end up living from one paycheck to the other, despite being tired of the rat race.

There are a million reasons why people stay stuck in a financial rut, but oftentimes it's their relationship with money that keeps them struggling. Do you live a life lacking abundance?

Wealth is a mindset that must be cultivated. In the words of Robert Kiyosaki, “The single most powerful asset that we have is our mind. If trained well, it can create enormous wealth.”

Financially wealthy people don’t create their wealth by accident, nor does it happen overnight. It requires risk, persistence, patience, sacrifice and a “do whatever it takes” work ethic. It's not for everyone. Neither Dan nor myself had wealth handed to us. We weren't born with a silver spoon in our mouths.

We always knew that we had to work hard and do whatever it took in order to build our businesses to where they are today. As a result, we value our success so much more.

This perspective on wealth allowed us to learn how to become a millionaire by 30.

In our interview together, Dan and I discuss 10 reasons why most don't become rich and how you can prevent against falling into this trap.

1. Poverty Mindset

Most people have a poverty mindset, not a prosperity mindset. This isn't a law of attraction, touchy-feely bullshit. A lot of people grow up in a home where their parents, friends, or relatives aren't wealthy. When you grow up in an environment like this, your perception of wealth becomes skewed.

When we are trying to create wealth and build a business, this is not a healthy mindset to adopt. It's like you're driving a car while pressing on the gas, but you have the emergency brake on.

The difference between a poverty versus a prosperity mindset is that one involves extracting while the other involves adding value. Money is a byproduct of value creation. If someone is making millions of dollars, that means that they are impacting millions of lives, in terms of scale.

When you have a job, you may be impacting your boss or manager, but that's about it. You aren't impacting a lot of people.

2. Lack of Commitment

Dan believes that wealth is all about committing to one idea over time. Most people are running a relay race, and when they get to 399 meters, they give up. How many times in your business did you feel like giving up, but you didn't? When it comes to achieving success, you can't have one foot in and one foot out. Commitment is about having both feet in.

How you do anything is how you do everything. When people say things like, “I'm interested” or “I'm considering” it drives us crazy. They are already planning in their head to quit. They know it's not going to work, which is why they end up failing. If you operate with this mindset in one area of your life, that's how you will operate in all other areas of your life.

The analogy Dan likes to use is the story about getting a black belt. Imagine you have two people. An ambitious, strong person wants to get a black belt. The sensei tells him that if he practices 2 times per week for 4 years, he will succeed. He responds with, “No way, I thought I would get a black belt in 4 months. I don't want to train for that long.” The sensei says, “Well, you won't get the black belt.”

Another guy who is shorter, skinnier and less flexible tells the sensei that he will do whatever it takes. The sensei tells him that he needs to come 5 times per week and train for 6 years.  This person says, “When can I start?”

3. Lack of Consistency

People always ask me what his #1 quality is and I always say that it's my consistency. That is what has contributed to my success in life. When Dan started his YouTube channel he only had a few hundred subscribers, but he was committed to growing it. It was a slow process, but he knew that he would eventually get there.

We both have had so many friends that are more gifted and talented than we are, but a lot of them have given up along the way. In our circle alone, Dan and I can probably count all of the people that have failed to achieve success. The people who are still around and that are doing well is few and far between. If success were easy, everybody would achieve it, but they don't.

4. Lack of Mentorship

The books that Dan has read and the seminars that he has attended have helped him. However, he is where he is today because of his two personal mentors. Think about martial arts in China. How did this skill get passed from one generation to the next? It didn't happen from a DVD or a YouTube video.

It took years of inner-circle, closed-door training. That is more of a Chinese way of thinking. However, in North America, we are taught to get things fast, take the shortcuts or swallow the magic pill. That's not how you get good at anything.

A lot of people try to reinvent the wheel and figure it out on their own but there are already people that have already solved the problems that they have. They've spent years creating the results you want. The fast-track for that is to go to those people and learn from them.

When it comes to finding a mentor, a lot of people approach it from the perspective of taking from someone.

You need to add value to the person that you want to learn from, without asking for anything in return. Someone who possesses a poverty mentality believes that because someone is successful, they are obligated to help them. That is a huge sense of entitlement.

Poor people sell time, whereas rich people buy time. If there's something that will save you time and that will shortcut your learning curve, take it. In the last two months, Dan has spent $250,000 on consultants and coaches because he knows that it will shave years off of his learning. He doesn't need to spend the money, but he does it because it matters to him.

When it comes to finding a mentor, if you can't even demonstrate that you want something bad enough, then nobody can help you. You have to help yourself.

5. Unrealistic Expectations

Nothing of value in life will ever come easy. Success doesn't happen overnight. It takes hard work, sacrifice, patience, and a lot of hard work. Unfortunately, many people fall into the trap of believing that this isn't the case. Don't buy into the scams. When you expect challenges and failures you will be better prepared to withstand the blows.

Let's say that you want to learn affiliate marketing and you join my course. Let's say that your expectation is that you are going to make $20,000/month in ten days. You are going to fail because you have the wrong expectation. When you fail, you end up thinking that the course doesn't work. Stefan sucks, affiliate marketing doesn't work, etc. You become a victim and blame others.

Same program, same mentor, but with a different expectation. You could want to join my course, knowing that you may not be the smartest. This is a new world for you. In the first six months, you know that you may not make any money, but you are committed to learning. You set the expectation that you will make $500-1$1000 per month by the end of the year.

When you adjust your expectation based on reality it changes the game. There are so many milestones that you can celebrate, which are still results. The process always leads to the money.

Don't be fooled by the get rich quick schemes.

The people that fall into this trap never become rich. If you are thinking about how to become a millionaire in 30 days, you are setting yourself up for failure. When it comes to achieving wealth, you need to adopt a long-term approach.

Think about how to become a millionaire in 5 years.

Building wealth is a process, not a one-time event. It takes time to create anything of value. That's a fact. If you want to learn 5 more reasons why people don't achieve financial success, check out the video on Dan Lok's YouTube channel! Everyone has the same opportunity to achieve wealth, but not everyone will take action and make it happen.

In the words of the motivational speaker, Talibah Aset – “You cannot build wealth and create the illusion of wealth at the same time. Get your priorities in order.” Which path do you want to take?

If you put in the work and find mentors the right way, there is no limit to what you can do in this lifetime.
