If you've ever wondered why I do what I do, I'm here to answer that question.

Imagine that you didn't have to work for money anymore. Would you still work? When I first started learning from other people I remember being curious about this. People always ask me, “Stefan, if you are so successful in your life, then why would you share your knowledge, secrets, and strategies with others?”

People tend to think that, if you selfishly keep knowledge to yourself, then you will be able to prosper even more. It's based on the belief that the more people that know about a great opportunity, the more difficult it will be to achieve success. The skeptics love this way of thinking, but it's never been a part of my reality.

Are you ready to learn why I do what I do? In the words of Pablo Picasso, “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”

I believe that there is more than enough for everybody. However, not everyone shares my belief. People that live in scarcity have a hard time seeing or believing my perspective. They convince themselves that life is limited and that opportunities are few and far between. This is far from true.

Do you adopt an abundance mindset or a scarcity mindset?

In his research, Princeton University psychology and public affairs professor Eldar Shafir explores how people's minds are less efficient when they feel they lack something. When we feel lack, it wreaks havoc on our cognitive and decision-making abilities. Not everyone is selfish and just focused on making money. Some people actually want to make a difference and help people, even at their own expense.

This is my purpose in life.

There is a lot of joy, happiness, and fulfillment that comes when you serve and contribute to something greater than yourself. A mentor of mine once said, “You'll never be great in life when you only focus on yourself. The only way to become great in life is when you serve something greater than yourself.”

Do I want to make money? Of course. I want to be financially abundant so that I can continue to invest in myself, take care of my family and my kids, and contribute to non-profit organizations. I want to continue growing my team so that my business can flourish and I can serve even more people than I already do.

Some people judge me and say that all I want to do is make money. There is no way that I could do what I do if I didn't make money. A business has to make money. It's the #1 goal of any business out there. I couldn't create free YouTube videos, podcasts, and blog posts, nor could I have an amazing team behind me, if I didn't make money.

If you could be more abundant with your health, then should you? Of course! If you could make more money, then should you? Of course! Abundance is abundance. It doesn't matter what label you attach to it. I'm driven by money, but I'm driven more by contribution.

I want to be a person of value.

I've always believed that, if you want to earn more money in life, think about how you can be more valuable in life. This is the place from which money flows. If you want to build a brand, a solid reputation, and create trust with people you can't solely be focused on making money. Money is only a byproduct of creating value in the marketplace. I wouldn't have been able to build my brand to where it is today if I was just focused on money.

When you are building a business that is focusing on serving, you aren't operating on fear and scarcity. I operate from the belief that Zig Ziglar has, which is that, “If you help enough people get what they want, then you too can have what you want.”

In order to have more, you must give more.

People who have a scarcity mentality have a difficult time grasping the concept of contribution. When you hold onto fear for dear life, you don't have anything to give because you are so scared of losing what you already have. That's what you have to free yourself from.

I do what I do because I love it. I've been through a lot of challenges in my life. It took me so many years to overcome what I've been through in order to get to where I am today. When you finally overcome the problems that you've struggled with in your life and you achieve something great, all that you want to do is share that knowledge with others. You want to prevent people from going through the same suffering that you did.

I want to inspire people to become the masters of their lives

I've worked hard to get to where I am today, but in the grand scheme of things, money isn't what fulfills me. I live by Andrew Carnegie's words who said, “I spent the first half of my life making money and the second half of my life giving it away to do the most good and the least harm.” I love this approach to life.

The next time that someone asks me why I do what I do, I can send them this video! This is me, in full transparency, speaking from my heart. You may be skeptical that my bigger mission in life is to contribute instead of just making money, and that is OK. At the end of the day, all that matters is that I can look at the image staring back at me in the mirror and be proud. I'm leaving you with a powerful message from Kamal Ravikant.

In his book, Live Your Truth he said, “Reach out, share your truth, tell someone, ‘This is who I am. This is what I stand for. Hold me to it.' Often, we'll do far more for another than we will do for ourselves.”  This is my truth.

I want to share with you the key to financial freedom. This is what Robert Kiyosaki taught me about getting rich, so it’s worth paying attention to!

Robert Kiyosaki is the author of the best-selling book, Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!, which teaches people how to create a financial freedom mindset.

Society has conditioned us to believe that if we go to university and get a good job, we will achieve financial security. In today’s world, this is far from true. More and more people are coming to realize that if they want to experience financial security, they need to rely on themselves.

Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant model has changed the way that I think about financial wealth and abundance in my life. He sheds light on how poor people think versus how rich people think. One mode of thinking results in a life of scarcity, while the other results in a life of abundance.

In the words of Robert Kiyosaki himself, “The benefit of living in a free society is that we all have the choice to be rich, poor, or middle class. The decision is up to you.” Are you ready to take control of your financial future?

The Cashflow Quadrant is comprised of four different types of people who make up the business world:

E – Employee

Most people start out in life as an employee. When you are an employee you are working for someone else, and you are trading your time for money. Robert Kiyosaki refers to this as the ‘poor mentality.'

The challenge with this lifestyle is that you lack freedom and aren’t able to create financial wealth and abundance. The core value of an employee is that of security.

These types of people shy away from anything that creates risk to their financial stability. In my opinion, there is a big risk in being dependent on someone else for your sole means of survival. At any moment, you could be fired, the economy could change, or different sectors could disappear entirely.

S – Self-Employed

Oftentimes, someone that starts off as an employee realizes that they can start their own business, so they end up quitting their job. One of the main benefits of being self-employed is that you are your own boss – you call the shots, set your own hours, and posses a new level of freedom to work from home and travel.

The challenge with being self-employed is that you are still trading your time for money, so you can’t scale up. These people have yet to develop the business acumen that will allow them to successfully run a business.

B – Business Owner

The business owner works on their business, not in their business. They are constantly thinking about how they can remove themselves from their business.

They create systems and automate their business in ways that ensures that they don’t have to be involved in the day-to-day operations of it, which then allows them to scale up their business. They may open up multiple stores or have a team that does everything for him, which gives them freedom of time.

A business owner creates more wealth than a self-employed person ever could make. This is the type of person that you should strive to become, and what is known as the ‘rich mentality.’

I – Investor

When you are an investor you take money that you are making, save it, and invest it in someone else’s business. When you invest in real estate or stocks you want to invest in things that can provide a passive income source for you. You become financially free when your passive income exceeds your expenses. This is how the rich get richer.

The business owner and the investor are the keys to financial abundance. I like to think that there is another level to this model, otherwise known as a P, or a philanthropist. This occurs when all of your needs are taken care of and you receive joy and fulfillment from using your resources to make bigger changes in the world. These are the Bill Gateses of the world.

I think that you can start giving and contributing early on in your journey. It teaches you to live from a place of abundance and not live with a scarcity mentality around money and finances.

Some of the wealthiest people in the world become philanthropists because money and success only fulfills them so much. When they serve the world on a bigger scale, it leads to deeper levels of happiness and joy.

The Cashflow Quadrant model outlines the key to financial freedom. This is what Robert Kiyosaki taught me about getting rich. If you want to learn more about this model, Robert Kiyosaki has a book called, The Cashflow Quadrant: Rich Dad's Guide to Financial Freedom.

I hope this knowledge has inspired you to change the way that you think about financial wealth and abundance. In closing, Robert Kiyosaki once said, “Before you can transform your wallet from poor to rich, you’ve got to transform your spirit from poor to rich.” Are you ready to take control of your financial future and adopt an abundance mindset?

Do you want to know how I hit emotional threshold and changed my life? We all cope with emotions in different ways, based in part on our nature and how we are conditioned to respond to challenges in our environments.

John Medina, author of New York Times Bestseller, Brain Rules: (Updated and Expanded): 12 Principles for Surviving and Thriving at Work, Home, and School, says that each of us has a unique reaction to stress, which makes it difficult to quantify it.

An emotional threshold is the tipping point at which we perceive a stimulus, threatening or not, and act on it. Depending on the situation, sometimes we have the ability to effectively manage our emotions and make rational decisions, while other times our emotions overpower us, which ends up dictating our decisions.

Research consistently shows that the skill of self-regulation is necessary for reliable emotional well-being. Your emotional threshold can expand or contract throughout your life. If you want to master your life learning how to express, experience, and regulate your emotions needs to be at the top of your list. Are your emotions driving you or destroying you?

When I was in high school I was a very shy, introverted kid, who was obsessed with video games. The online gaming world satisfied my nature and provided me with a comfortable means of non-human enjoyment. I felt safe not having to interact with others in social settings, because that is what made me most anxious.

I was also a very sensitive kid, so when I fell head over heels in love with a girl and she broke my heart, I was devastated. The pain from that experience was a wake-up call. I didn’t want to live a life of suffering, so I made a decision to change my life. Between the ages of 19-21, I would force myself to go out to clubs.

I didn't want to drink and party, but rather I wanted to place myself in these uncomfortable situations so that I would force myself to engage with others and develop the social skills that I desired. I knew that if I placed myself in enough uncomfortable situations, I would eventually get comfortable being uncomfortable. Actions like these are what drove me to improve my social skills, mindset, and confidence.

I remember another experience that made a large impact on the direction that my life would take. At the beginning of my online business, I was really struggling financially. During this time, I was in traveling throughout Cambodia and one day I felt compelled to give back to the people. I gave $20 to one of the poverty-stricken children that were begging on the side of road. Once I gave the money to the child, about 30 other children surrounded me and asked for money as well.

That was a life changing moment for me because I realized that I never wanted to be in a position in my life where I couldn’t give. From that day forward, I made a decision that I never wanted to live from a place of scarcity because it had created so much pain and worry in my life. Life is meant to be lived to the fullest, and so I set out on a journey to create the life that I desired.

One day I looked at myself in the mirror and said, “Enough is enough.” The pain that I was experiencing motivated and inspired me to shift the way that I was living, and take the steps necessary in order to change my life and achieve success. These were the experiences that led me to hit emotional threshold and changed my life!

Many people are victims to their emotions and believe that they have no control over how they feel. I used to adopt this scarcity mentality, but once I realized that only I am in control of my choices, everything in my life changed. Most people cover things up because they don’t want to face the reality of their lives, and they make it acceptable to settle. If you can get to the truth, you can change anything.

If you want to have a larger emotional threshold, you need to learn how to channel negative energy into something positive. Condition your mind so that you approach challenges in life with a proactive mindset. When you do, you will master your emotional state and feel more in control of your life.

In the words of Paul Wong, “The biggest challenge to self-control is emotional regulation. Successful people know how to make their emotions their servants rather than their masters.”

I want to share with you why it is important to raise your consciousness and serve a purpose greater than yourself. By definition, consciousness is the state or quality of awareness. In essence, life is a journey of growth, from a state of unconsciousness to consciousness. You may be wondering, “What does it mean to raise your consciousness, and how do I do it?”

When you begin to have more purposeful, altruistic, and meaningful experiences in life, you start to raise your consciousness and serve a purpose greater than yourself. Make it a priority to consciously transform the direction of your life towards greater awareness of who you are and what your ‘why’ is. When you do, you will begin the greatest journey of your life.

In the words of Eckhart Tolle, “Life will give you whatever experience is the most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness.” What actions can you take today in order to raise your consciousness?

Unfortunately a lot of people are egocentric and choose to only focus on their individual needs and desires. As a result, they never experience true happiness or success in life. By caring for others, you in turn care for yourself. I do what I do in life because I genuinely care about people; whether that’s a follower, a subscriber, or a stranger.

I want to help people thrive in life. If I can play a small role in someone’s personal growth and development, I am fulfilled. The quickest way to achieve success in life is to help others succeed first. That is the true path to achieving life mastery. In contrast, unsuccessful people are always wondering, “What’s in it for me?” This is a scarcity mindset that only results in a life of fear and suffering.

Don’t be driven by the need for personal gratification. Instead, choose to adopt an abundance mindset, because the more you give, the more you will receive. I have been able to achieve so much success in my life because I care – it is my greatest power and ultimate gift. It has made me who I am.

I wake up every day driven to achieve more, so that I can give more. I’m always thinking to myself, “How can I add more value and serve the world?” The happiest people are givers, not getters. I choose to give. That is what has inspired me to build homes for families in need, give money to charities, volunteer my time, and help people that are suffering. The return? I raise my consciousness. There is no better gift in the world.

Raise your consciousness and serve a purpose greater than yourself. By making the commitment to live from a place of compassion and genuine caring for others, you attract amazing things into your life and feel a sense of fulfillment that is beyond description.

In the words of Albert Einstein, “No problem can be solved by the same level of consciousness that created it.” Raise your consciousness so that you can become free to connect to your highest self.
