If you've ever wondered why I do what I do, I'm here to answer that question.

Imagine that you didn't have to work for money anymore. Would you still work? When I first started learning from other people I remember being curious about this. People always ask me, “Stefan, if you are so successful in your life, then why would you share your knowledge, secrets, and strategies with others?”

People tend to think that, if you selfishly keep knowledge to yourself, then you will be able to prosper even more. It's based on the belief that the more people that know about a great opportunity, the more difficult it will be to achieve success. The skeptics love this way of thinking, but it's never been a part of my reality.

Are you ready to learn why I do what I do? In the words of Pablo Picasso, “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”

I believe that there is more than enough for everybody. However, not everyone shares my belief. People that live in scarcity have a hard time seeing or believing my perspective. They convince themselves that life is limited and that opportunities are few and far between. This is far from true.

Do you adopt an abundance mindset or a scarcity mindset?

In his research, Princeton University psychology and public affairs professor Eldar Shafir explores how people's minds are less efficient when they feel they lack something. When we feel lack, it wreaks havoc on our cognitive and decision-making abilities. Not everyone is selfish and just focused on making money. Some people actually want to make a difference and help people, even at their own expense.

This is my purpose in life.

There is a lot of joy, happiness, and fulfillment that comes when you serve and contribute to something greater than yourself. A mentor of mine once said, “You'll never be great in life when you only focus on yourself. The only way to become great in life is when you serve something greater than yourself.”

Do I want to make money? Of course. I want to be financially abundant so that I can continue to invest in myself, take care of my family and my kids, and contribute to non-profit organizations. I want to continue growing my team so that my business can flourish and I can serve even more people than I already do.

Some people judge me and say that all I want to do is make money. There is no way that I could do what I do if I didn't make money. A business has to make money. It's the #1 goal of any business out there. I couldn't create free YouTube videos, podcasts, and blog posts, nor could I have an amazing team behind me, if I didn't make money.

If you could be more abundant with your health, then should you? Of course! If you could make more money, then should you? Of course! Abundance is abundance. It doesn't matter what label you attach to it. I'm driven by money, but I'm driven more by contribution.

I want to be a person of value.

I've always believed that, if you want to earn more money in life, think about how you can be more valuable in life. This is the place from which money flows. If you want to build a brand, a solid reputation, and create trust with people you can't solely be focused on making money. Money is only a byproduct of creating value in the marketplace. I wouldn't have been able to build my brand to where it is today if I was just focused on money.

When you are building a business that is focusing on serving, you aren't operating on fear and scarcity. I operate from the belief that Zig Ziglar has, which is that, “If you help enough people get what they want, then you too can have what you want.”

In order to have more, you must give more.

People who have a scarcity mentality have a difficult time grasping the concept of contribution. When you hold onto fear for dear life, you don't have anything to give because you are so scared of losing what you already have. That's what you have to free yourself from.

I do what I do because I love it. I've been through a lot of challenges in my life. It took me so many years to overcome what I've been through in order to get to where I am today. When you finally overcome the problems that you've struggled with in your life and you achieve something great, all that you want to do is share that knowledge with others. You want to prevent people from going through the same suffering that you did.

I want to inspire people to become the masters of their lives

I've worked hard to get to where I am today, but in the grand scheme of things, money isn't what fulfills me. I live by Andrew Carnegie's words who said, “I spent the first half of my life making money and the second half of my life giving it away to do the most good and the least harm.” I love this approach to life.

The next time that someone asks me why I do what I do, I can send them this video! This is me, in full transparency, speaking from my heart. You may be skeptical that my bigger mission in life is to contribute instead of just making money, and that is OK. At the end of the day, all that matters is that I can look at the image staring back at me in the mirror and be proud. I'm leaving you with a powerful message from Kamal Ravikant.

In his book, Live Your Truth he said, “Reach out, share your truth, tell someone, ‘This is who I am. This is what I stand for. Hold me to it.' Often, we'll do far more for another than we will do for ourselves.”  This is my truth.

Are you looking for a way to create your ultimate dream lifestyle?

A lot of people sit on the sidelines of life, hoping that their dreams will come true one day, but nothing happens in life unless you take action. Your dream lifestyle isn’t going to magically show up at your doorstep.

It requires that you design the life of your choosing, and then start moving in that direction. This is your life. You make the decisions, so make them. What does your ultimate dream lifestyle look like? If you don’t know yet, it’s time to start focusing on what you want to have in your life.

In the words of Bob Bennett, “A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward its achievement.” Today is the beginning of anything that you want. Are you ready to fly?

What would it feel like to be living your ultimate dream lifestyle?

You may have forgotten, but YOU are in the driver’s seat of your life, which means that you have the power to make your own choices. Once you realize this, you immediately give yourself permission to start designing your ultimate dream lifestyle.

There is no ideal dream lifestyle. We all desire different things in life, whether that’s buying a beautiful home, traveling the world, contributing to charities, improving your health, or investing in your personal growth and development. I’m living my ultimate dream lifestyle, but it didn’t happen overnight. It took a heavy dose of self-belief, time, patience, determination, and hard work.

Before you can start creating your ultimate dream lifestyle, you need to understand what that lifestyle looks like for you. I encourage you to answer these 6 questions and see what comes up for you.

1. What is your “why”?

You will never be able to actualize the life of your dreams until you actually take the time to define what matters to you. What makes you come alive inside? I believe that each of us come into this world with a unique purpose in life.

When people think about living their dream lifestyle they usually envision something out of a movie – a billionaire, relaxing on a yacht, covered in hundred dollar bills, while drinking champagne.

Material possessions are great, but they won't fulfill you. Don’t get me wrong. Financial freedom is a beautiful position to be in, but it’s so much more than material wealth. Once you get to a point in life where you don’t have to worry about money, you start to think bigger. Your mindset shifts with regards to what a dream lifestyle really looks like.

This will be different for everyone, depending on what their values are. So, you may be wondering, “How do I find my life purpose?” The best place to start is by dropping from your head into your heart. When you connect with your heart and lead from this place, you will be inspired to follow your dreams.

Once you find what it is that makes you come alive inside, I encourage you to take action! This is the point at which you will know that you are living a purposeful life. Once you feel into your purpose, you will wonder how you ever survived one day without it.

You weren’t born to live an average life. You have a special purpose and it is your job to find it and live it fully. We all have an infinite amount of potential waiting to be unleashed upon the world, and once we embody it, there is nothing that stands in our way of success. As the German philosopher Frederick Nietzsche once said, “He who knows his why can endure any how.”

2. What is the vision that you have for your life?

Anything that you want to achieve in life starts with having a vision. A clear vision is the roadmap that helps you pursue your dreams and goals, with passion and purpose.

A lot of people have never taken the time to consciously envision what they want their life to look like. This visioning process is paramount to your long-term success.

When I was first getting started on my journey, the one thing that really helped was getting crystal clear on what I wanted my life to look, feel and sound like. Most people have never experienced the peak level of emotion that can come when you tap into a vision that is greater than yourself.

I’m a big believer in the power of vision boards. This is a great way to inspire you to achieve your vision. Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises that you can engage in. A study found that doing mental training, specifically, picturing yourself doing a physical exercise, drives the muscles to a higher activation level and increases strength.

When it comes to visualizing, be specific about what it is that you want. Your vision board should focus on how you want to feel every day, not just on the material possession that you want. The purpose of it is to bring your dream lifestyle to life. Never forget that, what you focus on, expands.

3. What changes do you need to make to your current lifestyle that will allow you to create your dream lifestyle?

If you have the desire to level up your lifestyle, you need to get real with how you are spending your money. If you want to achieve financial freedom you need to learn how to manage your money. Money management is a habit. When I first started my online business, I stepped back and analyzed my existing lifestyle.

I would calculate my monthly expenses and tried to determine what I could knock off my list that would help lower my expenses, and then I would think about ways that I could create passive income streams, that could eventually pay for almost anything that I wanted. You need to get real with your money habits.

You can take this exercise a step further and write down exactly what it would cost for you to be able to afford the lifestyle that you want, which can be broken down on a monthly, daily and hourly basis. I would then encourage you to ask yourself, “What would have to be the gross income of my business, per year, in order to afford the lifestyle that I want?”

From here, you want to be specific about the exact date that you want to achieve this goal by, and how old you will be when this happens. You are then going to break down what each year up to that date are going to have to look like in order for you to achieve your ultimate dream lifestyle goal.

If you are needing some financial clarity, with regards to how much it will really cost to live your dream lifestyle, check out Tim Ferriss' website, Four Hour Workweek. He created something called the “dreamline.” This is a spreadsheet based on the things you want to have, be, and do. Once you create this, you can see your ideal lifestyle in detail, and then match a dollar amount to your dreams.

4. What goals do you need to set in order to make your dream a reality?

Oftentimes people set lofty goals that overwhelm them. Yes, you want your goals to stretch you, but you don’t want them to be so big that they feel unachievable, to the point where you start criticizing yourself.

This is why you need to carefully construct a set of milestones that will inspire you to keep moving forward towards the achievement of your goals. Ask yourself, “What would I have to do on a daily, monthly and/or yearly basis that would lead me to my ultimate dream lifestyle?”

Don't just think about the the goals that you want to achieve. Go one step further and write them down. This is supported by Dr. Gail Matthews, a psychology professor at the Dominican University in California who studied the art and science of goal setting. In her research, she found that you become 42% more likely to achieve your goals and dreams, simply by writing them down on a regular basis.

If you have a desire to start an online business, the beginning stages are always the slowest because you are building the foundation. However, as the compound effect takes shape, you start to scale up fast. Once you start making some money, it’s amazing how much faster your business starts growing.

John Reese once said that “If you can make $1 online, then you are 95% of the way there to making one million dollars online.” That $1 is the hardest money that you will ever make, but it’s also the most rewarding. When I think back to the first dollar that I made online, I remember how amazing it felt. It gave me the confidence to know that the process was working and that someone was finding value from my efforts.

5. What is your relationship with money?

When it comes to living your ultimate dream lifestyle, your mindset is paramount to the level of success that you can achieve. People who have an unhealthy relationship with money often live pay-check to pay-check. If you have self-limiting beliefs about what is possible in life you may be stuck in a scarcity mentality.

If you want to create your dream lifestyle, you need to change the way that you think, feel and act towards money. It all starts with creating an abundance mindset. People who live from a place of abundance adopt an attitude that focuses on possibilities. The fear of never making enough money doesn’t exist in their world.

When you decide to make the shift from scarcity into abundance, your financial life will immediately start to improve because you will be consciously focusing on having more.

6. Do you have an unwavering belief in yourself?

If you want to be successful, then you need to have an unwavering belief in yourself and your abilities. In order to master success in the outside world, first, you need to create a strong inner world.

If you struggle with confidence, one of the best ways to develop and strengthen your belief system is through daily personal affirmations. Through repetition, you can reprogram your subconscious mind and replace disempowering thoughts with empowering ones.

Bestselling author Jon Gordon always says, “Talk to yourself more than you listen to yourself.” When you wake up every day, talk to yourself as if you were a champion and condition those empowering thoughts. If you don’t believe in yourself, how do you expect anyone else to believe in you?

If you have a desire to build an online business, I guarantee that you will fail or experience setbacks at some point in time. However, when your self-belief is strong, there is no setback that will stand in the way of your success. You may sway, but you will not fall, because your foundation will be unshakeable.

The most successful people in this world believe in themselves. More importantly, they possess the grit and determination to keep pushing forward, despite the challenges that they face, while in pursuit of creating the life of their dreams. Anything is possible if you believe it to be so.

This is just some of the content that I shared in my Online Business Mastery Mastermind event. If you are interested in getting notified about my upcoming events, click here.

Your ultimate dream lifestyle is within arm's reach.

Life is so short. Don’t waste one more day thinking about your dream life, and start taking action to create it! If you fall along the way, get back up, keep going and don’t stop until you have attained the freedom that you desire. In the words of Walt Disney, “If you can dream it, you can do it.”

Change your life and the world, one act of kindness at a time.

This was the message that came across in my interview with John Wang, who is the founder of, One Kindness, a movement that inspires people to perform one act of kindness everyday.

Kindness is a simple concept, but it's impact is large in scope. You have the ability to transform someone’s life for the better, just by a simple act or word. It's fair to say that the world would be a very different place if we showed kindness and compassion to every living being.

Are you ready to learn how kindness can change your life and the world? In the words of Margaret Mead, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” This is a special interview that you don't want to miss.

Small acts of kindness will change your life.

In our interview together, I pick John Wang's brain on the importance of kindness, how it can change your life, and how it can make a difference to society as a whole:

Can you share a little bit about the One Kindness Challenge and how you created it?

The One Kindness Challenge is based on a simple idea, which is, if you do one act of kindness every day, for 30 days, your life will transform. We have this misconception that kindness is something that we do for other people; that it's about improving other people's’ lives.

We think of people like the Dalai Lama or Mother Teresa going out there and doing great things, which is fantastic, but science shows how much of an impact kindness can have on improving our daily lives in three major ways – in the way that it shapes our personal relationships, in the way that it affects our income, and how it affects our health.

These are three things that we don't usually associate with kindness, but there are so many studies to support how something as simple as an act of kindness can change your life.

What inspired you to take initiative and create something like this?

It was by accident. Last year I was traveling through Nepal and while I was on a para-gliding adventure, I got stranded in the middle of a village. A man drove up beside me with this family and he asked me if I needed a ride somewhere.

While he was driving, I was talking to members of his family in the car, and I found out that he was actually going in the opposite direction that I was going. It was a huge deal for him to drive all the way back into town for me. At the end of our travels, I offered to give him some money to at least pay for his gas, and he said, “There is no need for that, because I'm not only doing this for you, I'm also doing this for me, because I find enjoyment in helping others.”

That changed my entire perspective with regards to what kindness is, and led me to ask myself, “What if we don't help people for other people, but we also help people in order to improve ourselves?” That's what planted the seed.

Later on, I would hear story after story from celebrities, entrepreneurs, and athletes of how kindness has impacted and improved their lives, simply by helping others. We are communal in nature.

What you put out into the world influences how other people see you. If you have the desire to start a business, are an entrepreneur, or work in a corporate setting, the best way to improve your social sphere is by contributing to the lives of others.

A great example is the story of Tony Horton, the Founder of P90X. I randomly met Tony at the gym in California, where him and his entire team were inventing these crazy workouts at the time. I asked if I could jump in and join his training session. It was the most intense workout that I've ever experienced. At the end of the workout I told him about what the One Kindness Challenge, and he shared with me a story of how his business came to fruition.

He started off as a personal trainer in LA, but was really struggling. During this time of his life, he was reading a book and came across a passage that read, “Go do something kind for someone that you don't like.”

So, he approached a guy at his gym, who had previously rubbed him the wrong way, and asked him if he wanted to be trained, for free. Overtime, they developed a relationship, and as this guy started to see results from Tony's efforts, he organized a meeting for Tony to meet with someone.

This person ended up being Tony's future business partner, and the one who funded P90X and started the empire. It all started with a simple act of kindness.

If we improve people’s lives, we can improve our own lives. It's not about the size of the act, but rather, the size of the impact. In this moment, I'm sure you can think of a moment when someone did something for you that, to them, may have been really small, but it brightened your entire day.

There was a very famous story of a guy who walked onto the Golden Gate Bridge and killed himself, and later on when the crime investigators went into his home, they found a note on top of his bureau that said, “Today I am going to walk to the Golden Gate Bridge. If one person smiles at me along the way, I will not jump.” It's so tragic, yet so powerful to think that something so small could have prevented this tragedy.

Kindness is something that we don't think about everyday – like opening a door, smiling at someone, or offering to help carry groceries to someone's car. These small gestures can have a massive impact in somebody else’s life.

Why do you think that so many people in society live with a negative state of mind? Where do you think that stems from?

Ultimately, I think it always stems from fear, especially if you are not yet where you know you can be in life. There are days when people wake up and wonder if they are capable of rising up to life’s challenges. Days like these create fear that gnaw away at us, and when we give into that fear, it's easy to put other people down.

This is why I believe that gratitude is one of the most powerful mindsets that you can have. When you wake up with gratitude, you live from a place of abundance, knowing that you have enough to thrive. Negativity comes from fear and uncertainty, and a sense that we are not good enough.

When we engage in an act of kindness, it creates a sense of warmth in our chest, which is actually caused by stimulation of the Vagus nerve, which is connected to the back of our brain stem. This nerve releases powerful positive feelings in our brain, which can trigger a sense of inspiration and motivation.

So, in a lot of ways, if you are having a bad day, and you don't want to keep going down that cycle, sometimes something as simple as engaging in a small act of kindness can change how you feel instantly.

What are some of the top benefits that people receive from doing your challenge for 30 days?

You should instantly feel different. There have been studies that show that it has a compounding effect. It's what they call, “a helper's high.” You get a hit of endorphins, and your brain wants to keep repeating that. It actually dissolves the stress that we carry in our body and everything becomes a bit lighter.

There was a study that was done across 40 different countries that found that, the #1 trait that the majority of people list as desirable in the opposite sex is kindness, above financial situation and sexual attractiveness.

We think that kindness is attractive, because if someone has the ability to be kind, than they must live an abundant lifestyle. We want people around us that are living and giving because that energy is infectious.

Research has found that businesses that have some element of giving are much more profitable, have happier employees, experience lower turnover, and have better customer satisfaction. Toms Shoes is a really good example of is. They have a buy 1, give 1 philosophy, where they give away a pair of shoes to someone in need.

If you take a look at almost any business, from small, solopreneur type businesses, all the way to these mega corporations, the ones that have initiatives, where they are able to help the communities around them, tend to do better, because we want to support businesses that are supporting us.

We like people who want to give. We trust them more, and it build deeper connections. It all comes down to empathy. If you can be empathetic enough to be aware of the needs of others, and come from a place of giving, the Universe will give back to you.

If there are people in your life that are difficult there's a reason for that. They are not mean because they are naturally born that way. Kindness is inherent. Children are all about giving and helping one another. When did we lose that? Usually, it's during the process of growing up, when we experience pain and wounding, and our reaction to those feelings is defensiveness. In turn, we end up wounding others.

Can you share with people the purpose of the bracelet that you wear and how it helps with the awareness aspect of it?

I wanted to wear something that could help remind me about the importance of kindness. It's so easy to forget about it, so I created a simple reminder, in the form of a bracelet.

On the one side it reads, “One Kindness”. Once I have engaged in one act of kindness, I flip the bracelet around, which shows our logo, which is a heart, with a check mark on it. This symbolizes that I have achieved what I set out to do.

Every single time that I look at the bracelet, I am reminded of that feeling I get when I've engaged in an act of kindness, and it brings a smile to my face. On top of that, my friends and family can see whether or not I've engaged an act of kindness, based on which way my bracelet is sitting, which holds me accountable.

Do you have a final message that you want to share with people on the importance of kindness?

If there is one message that I could put on a billboard and share with people is the idea that, making the world a better place doesn't have to be this massive thing, where you dedicate a year of your life to go somewhere and rescue a village of people.

A lot of times it's about creating small ripples of impact on a regular basis. Make it a habit and watch your mindset change. Watch the way that it changes your psychology and the people around you. Just one act of kindness can instantly change your life.

I hope John Wang's message has showed you how kindness will change your life and the world.

If you want to purchase one of John's kindness bracelets, CLICK HERE to check out his website!

What act of kindness will you commit to doing today? I inspire you to integrate kindness into your morning ritual. It has the power to change your life, the lives of others, and the world as a whole.

In the words of Leo Buscaglia, “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

I recently witnessed the building of a school in Ethiopia that I funded with your support. That Ethiopia school inauguration was a life-changing experience that I will never forget. I am honored that I was able to be a part of such a legacy.

Together with Imagine1Day, I helped fund and build a new school for children in Ethiopia. As many of you know, contribution is an important part of my life.

There is nothing more fulfilling than stepping outside of yourself and contributing to helping people in need. This can be in the form of volunteering your time or donating money to a cause or charity. There is no better way to shift your mindset from one of scarcity to abundance.

Together, we can help change the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. How will you make a positive impact in the world?

Do you want to help build homes for families in need and change lives for generations to come? CLICK HERE to make a donation!

When we arrived in the village where the school had been built, we were greeted by hundreds of people. Everybody from the local children, to government members, to military officials, to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia. It was a beautiful and humbling experience.

In the Western World, it is so easy to take our education for granted. Many of us are blessed to have the opportunity and privilege to learn in a safe and positive school environment. Previous to this Ethiopia school inauguration, local children were educated in an open-air classroom. They sat on stones and wrote on their laps because their community did not have the money to build proper schools.

Knowing that due to our contribution efforts 700 local children now have new classrooms, a playground, and a safe and comfortable educational environment to learn in brings me so much joy.

The focus of the new school that we helped build is to create visionary teachers, students, and future leaders. It was awesome to learn that each teacher and student at the school has one-year, five-year and ten-year goals and a vision for their life.

I am a firm believer, that no matter where you are from, or what your socioeconomic status is, every person has the ability to achieve their dreams. The power of a vision cannot be understated. It has the ability to transform your entire life.

Overall, the Ethiopia school inauguration was one of the most transformational and eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I believe that the key to a happy and meaningful life is contribution.

In 2018, I am continuing my contribution efforts, and will be traveling to either Colombia, Costa Rica or Guatemala to build homes for families that are living in slum conditions. My goal is to raise $20,000 total, to build a school and 3 homes for those in need. I will be matching all donations that are made, and also giving significant amounts from my own pocket.

If you would like to partner with me to help raise money and be a force for good, please feel free to make a donation. In the words of Kathy Calvin, “Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference.” Let’s change lives together!

I want to share with you the key to financial freedom. This is what Robert Kiyosaki taught me about getting rich, so it’s worth paying attention to!

Robert Kiyosaki is the author of the best-selling book, Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!, which teaches people how to create a financial freedom mindset.

Society has conditioned us to believe that if we go to university and get a good job, we will achieve financial security. In today’s world, this is far from true. More and more people are coming to realize that if they want to experience financial security, they need to rely on themselves.

Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow Quadrant model has changed the way that I think about financial wealth and abundance in my life. He sheds light on how poor people think versus how rich people think. One mode of thinking results in a life of scarcity, while the other results in a life of abundance.

In the words of Robert Kiyosaki himself, “The benefit of living in a free society is that we all have the choice to be rich, poor, or middle class. The decision is up to you.” Are you ready to take control of your financial future?

The Cashflow Quadrant is comprised of four different types of people who make up the business world:

E – Employee

Most people start out in life as an employee. When you are an employee you are working for someone else, and you are trading your time for money. Robert Kiyosaki refers to this as the ‘poor mentality.'

The challenge with this lifestyle is that you lack freedom and aren’t able to create financial wealth and abundance. The core value of an employee is that of security.

These types of people shy away from anything that creates risk to their financial stability. In my opinion, there is a big risk in being dependent on someone else for your sole means of survival. At any moment, you could be fired, the economy could change, or different sectors could disappear entirely.

S – Self-Employed

Oftentimes, someone that starts off as an employee realizes that they can start their own business, so they end up quitting their job. One of the main benefits of being self-employed is that you are your own boss – you call the shots, set your own hours, and posses a new level of freedom to work from home and travel.

The challenge with being self-employed is that you are still trading your time for money, so you can’t scale up. These people have yet to develop the business acumen that will allow them to successfully run a business.

B – Business Owner

The business owner works on their business, not in their business. They are constantly thinking about how they can remove themselves from their business.

They create systems and automate their business in ways that ensures that they don’t have to be involved in the day-to-day operations of it, which then allows them to scale up their business. They may open up multiple stores or have a team that does everything for him, which gives them freedom of time.

A business owner creates more wealth than a self-employed person ever could make. This is the type of person that you should strive to become, and what is known as the ‘rich mentality.’

I – Investor

When you are an investor you take money that you are making, save it, and invest it in someone else’s business. When you invest in real estate or stocks you want to invest in things that can provide a passive income source for you. You become financially free when your passive income exceeds your expenses. This is how the rich get richer.

The business owner and the investor are the keys to financial abundance. I like to think that there is another level to this model, otherwise known as a P, or a philanthropist. This occurs when all of your needs are taken care of and you receive joy and fulfillment from using your resources to make bigger changes in the world. These are the Bill Gateses of the world.

I think that you can start giving and contributing early on in your journey. It teaches you to live from a place of abundance and not live with a scarcity mentality around money and finances.

Some of the wealthiest people in the world become philanthropists because money and success only fulfills them so much. When they serve the world on a bigger scale, it leads to deeper levels of happiness and joy.

The Cashflow Quadrant model outlines the key to financial freedom. This is what Robert Kiyosaki taught me about getting rich. If you want to learn more about this model, Robert Kiyosaki has a book called, The Cashflow Quadrant: Rich Dad's Guide to Financial Freedom.

I hope this knowledge has inspired you to change the way that you think about financial wealth and abundance. In closing, Robert Kiyosaki once said, “Before you can transform your wallet from poor to rich, you’ve got to transform your spirit from poor to rich.” Are you ready to take control of your financial future and adopt an abundance mindset?

Today I want to talk about the illusion of happiness. I believe that happiness is a universal desire. Deep down, we all want to be happy. Unfortunately, in today’s world, genuine happiness is a rare commodity. People who have bought into the illusion of happiness use things like money, relationships, friends, their body, etc., as vehicles to achieve certain ‘positive’ emotional states.

The more you ‘go after' happiness, the more fleeting it becomes. Materialistic things won’t buy you happiness. If you are constantly chasing the idea of happiness, you will live a life of pain and disappointment. Instead of focusing on the external rewards of life, focus on your internal state.

Happiness is a choice. There are people in this world that have nothing, and still, they choose to be happy. Similarly, there are people who have all the money in the world, but they still aren’t fulfilled. Whatever the circumstances are in our lives, we always have the power to choose how we feel.

In the words of A.R. Lucas, “If there’s even a slight chance at getting something that will make you happy, risk it. Life’s too short, and happiness is too rare.” Are you ready to drop the illusion of happiness, and live from a place of joy, gratitude, and fulfillment?

I'm not saying that there won't be challenges that arise in life that try to shake your happiness. The question remains, “How does someone sustain a positive state during times of unhappiness and duress?” It all comes down to their mindset.

These people make happiness their top value in life. They engage in a process of self-reflection, learn how to master their emotions, and find peace within themselves, which in turn, allows them to experience inner happiness.

They know that the direction that their lives take depends solely on them and them alone. They don’t search for things or people to make them happy. In turn, they achieve and attract more into their lives. There are 24 hours in a day. You can either spend those hours being happy or sad.

For myself, I know that once I started putting happiness first, my life changed, on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. One strategy that I adopted in order to condition my state of happiness, is a morning ritual. Every day, I take the time to honour myself. I reflect and show gratitude for all of the blessings that exist in my life.

If you prioritize your happiness, I can guarantee you that it will make everything in your life easier. When you start your day feeling full, you overflow with love, happiness, and abundance, which has a contagious effect on others and the world at large.

The illusion of happiness makes people believe that if they can find happiness everything else will be okay. But there isn't a magic pill for happiness. Rather, it is a daily practice. Have you bought into the illusion of happiness? If you are aren’t happy with your life, try shifting your mindset, and adopting an attitude of gratitude.

Abraham Lincoln once said that, “People can be as happy or unhappy as they make up their mind to be.” When you adopt a happy mindset, being happy won’t feel like work. It will just be your natural state, and that is when you will start attracting amazing things into your life.

If you aren’t living the kind of life that brings you inner joy, happiness, and fulfillment, I challenge you to start the journey towards a happy life. The first step is connecting with that place of inner happiness that resides within you. It won’t be easy, but nothing in life that is worthwhile ever comes easy.

Drop the illusion of happiness. Don’t wait for things to happen in order to be happy. Choose happiness in your life, NOW.

Video transcript

Hey, everyone, this is Stefan from ProjectLifeMastery.com and today I want to talk to you about something that I believe that most people in society today don't value enough. It's something that I believe that we all really want deep down inside. We all crave it, we all desire it, and what that really is is to be happy. I believe that all human beings really want to be happy in their lives. We want to feel a sense of joy, fulfillment, and meaning.

The challenge that I've observed is that most people in society today have bought into the lie and the illusion that happiness, joy, and fulfillment come from outside of ourselves. That you have to put your focus and emphasis on the external results and rewards of life, instead of focusing internally. You need to understand and know that the happiness that you are craving and seeking is already within you.

That's why I think a lot of people only focus on making money. They want to make a certain amount of money, and create a certain lifestyle or freedom, buy a car, or a house, or some sort of materialistic possession. Or they may be more focused on their body and achieving a certain body weight, or maybe it's attracting a man or a woman into their lives and having love and a great relationship.

Don't get me wrong, I think those are all great things. They're all important. I've pursued those in my life as well. However, the challenge is that when you believe that you need to have something outside of yourself in order to be happy, instead of recognizing and understanding that you could be happy right now regardless of your outside circumstances, regardless of having a car, a relationship, an ideal body, or a lot of money.

There are people in this world that have nothing. They're broke, in debt, poor, alone, sick or dying, and yet they still have decided, regardless of their circumstances, to be happy, joyful, and cheerful. Similarly, there are people out there that have a lot of money, and they have everything on the outside world, yet they're not happy or fulfilled.

That's why you see so many celebrities and famous people commit suicide, because they are depressed and unhappy. You see them have it all, but deep down, they haven't learned to master their emotions and really find happiness within themselves. I was reading the other day that there are over 2,000 billionaires in the world. Every five days in China there's a new billionaire, every six days in the United States there's a new billionaire. I believe that what's more rare than a billionaire is someone that's really happy and fulfilled.

That is what I look for in human beings. People that I want to learn from. People that I respect the most, aren't just the people that have a lot of money. That's great, but I look at whether or not they are really happy and fulfilled. Most people use their business, money, their body, relationships, friends, or whatever it might be, as a vehicle to go after and achieve certain emotional states. That's the belief system that they have programmed in their minds.

In the world of marketing today, that is what they are selling to you. When you look at a magazine or you watch TV, you're being marketed to buy a product. Ultimately, what you're really after is the emotion that you believe that a product can provide for you, or the result that it will provide for you. It's not true, my friends. In fact, what if, instead, I were to propose this to you – instead of believing that in order to be happy, you need to achieve or get something outside of yourself to be happy, what if you decided that you were going to be happy regardless.

I'm going to be happy regardless of what my outside world looks like, just because I choose to. We are all in control of our emotional states. Regardless of what's going on, you can always look for the good. You can always have something to be grateful for. Imagine what it would feel like if you operated from a place of happiness first, and made prioritizing your happiness a higher value on your list. What if doing so helped you to attract and achieve more in your life?

Choose to put happiness first, and create a powerful ritual in your life, where every morning you commit to spending time focusing on happiness and taking in life's gifts. Trust me, there have been times in my life when my life didn't look so good.

There were times in my life when I was really struggling, and I had a lot to be unhappy about. I knew that if I could be happy now, despite the chaos and adversity in my life, then I'd really have mastered life to a much higher level. I would have taken control of my life, and that was the most important thing. What I found is that if you actually prioritize your happiness, and make the decision that you are going to be happy despite your life circumstances, I can almost guarantee you that it's going to make everything else in your life much easier.

For example, maybe you're in a relationship, but you want to take it to another level, or maybe your relationship is not going so well. I can promise you that if you're a lot happier, you're probably going to uplift your current relationship that you might already be in.

Similarly, I can promise you that if you're a lot happier, you're probably going to make better food choices. You're probably going to want to go outside and exercise and take better care of yourself, because you're already happy, and that's going to result in you being able to achieve your health and fitness goals that much faster. I can almost promise you that if you're happier, then that's going to help you improve the amount of money that you make. It's going to help you feel more motivated to start your business, to grow your business, to perform a lot better at your job.

I think a lot of people have it backward. You have to dehypnotize yourself into understanding that happiness has to be important than anything. Otherwise, what's going to happen is that you're going to achieve the things that you set out to achieve – the car, the house, the body, and the relationship – but here's what's going to happen. Once you get those things, you're going to realize that they did not make you happy.

Regardless of all the things that you've worked so hard to acquire, because you believed that they would give you happiness, you're going to feel a sense of emptiness inside. Then you're going to look for another goal to achieve. I'm here to tell you that I believe that the better way of going about it is to make happiness a more important priority.

Not a lot of people put enough value on happiness because it's not as tangible as a car, house, a body, a girlfriend, or a boyfriend. You can measure that, it's more specific. Whereas with happiness, it's something that people can't tangibly measure. Happiness is different for everybody. There's certain universal principles and patterns of happiness that, without a doubt, can help enhance that. I'm not saying that money and a relationship can't amplify it, but it's not the sole source of happiness.

In fact, you don't even want your happiness to be dependent on something outside of yourself, because if it's only dependent on a man or a woman, or a relationship, or a body, or money, then what happens when that goes away , your happiness will go away with it. Here's what I want to propose to you – make happiness a higher priority, shift your mindset, and your belief system. Decide that you are going to be happy now.

Decide that you are going to spend the first part of your day, which is the most important part of your day, and create a ritual. Do what makes you happy. Whatever that might be. I know for myself, I've got crazy rituals that I do. I enjoy learning each day, taking care of my health and my body, meditating, and focusing on and thinking about what I'm grateful for. I train myself to always look for the good, no matter what.

No matter what's going on, there's always good. I will find it and that will help amplify my life and remind myself how blessed I really am. Maybe it's doing some exercise and taking good care of my body. I think that can be an act of love. Start off the day happy. A lot of people start the day empty and try to fill themselves up. What if you started the day feeling full? Fill yourself up in the morning with your ritual so that you're overflowing with love, abundance, and happiness. When you do, it will have a contagious effect on everyone else around you.

In fact, I think that being happy every day is the greatest gift that you can give to other human beings on this planet. Create a ritual, or do whatever works for you. I don't know whatever that might be for you, but take the time to prioritize and value happiness more in your life. Pick up a happiness book and study. Place more emphasis and focus on it, because at the end of the day, that's really what you want deep down inside.

Hopefully, this video could be a good reminder for some of you to really value that more, make an emphasis on it. Don't just be one-dimensional in your life. I believe in life mastery and the foundation of that is your health, your mindset, and your emotions. You need to really master those areas of your life, because those are the ones that are going to affect everything else. Hopefully you enjoyed this video. If you did, give it a thumbs up. I want to share with you why it is important to raise your consciousness and serve a purpose greater than yourself. By definition, consciousness is the state or quality of awareness. In essence, life is a journey of growth, from a state of unconsciousness to consciousness. You may be wondering, “What does it mean to raise your consciousness, and how do I do it?”

When you begin to have more purposeful, altruistic, and meaningful experiences in life, you start to raise your consciousness and serve a purpose greater than yourself. Make it a priority to consciously transform the direction of your life towards greater awareness of who you are and what your ‘why’ is. When you do, you will begin the greatest journey of your life.

In the words of Eckhart Tolle, “Life will give you whatever experience is the most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness.” What actions can you take today in order to raise your consciousness?

Unfortunately a lot of people are egocentric and choose to only focus on their individual needs and desires. As a result, they never experience true happiness or success in life. By caring for others, you in turn care for yourself. I do what I do in life because I genuinely care about people; whether that’s a follower, a subscriber, or a stranger.

I want to help people thrive in life. If I can play a small role in someone’s personal growth and development, I am fulfilled. The quickest way to achieve success in life is to help others succeed first. That is the true path to achieving life mastery. In contrast, unsuccessful people are always wondering, “What’s in it for me?” This is a scarcity mindset that only results in a life of fear and suffering.

Don’t be driven by the need for personal gratification. Instead, choose to adopt an abundance mindset, because the more you give, the more you will receive. I have been able to achieve so much success in my life because I care – it is my greatest power and ultimate gift. It has made me who I am.

I wake up every day driven to achieve more, so that I can give more. I’m always thinking to myself, “How can I add more value and serve the world?” The happiest people are givers, not getters. I choose to give. That is what has inspired me to build homes for families in need, give money to charities, volunteer my time, and help people that are suffering. The return? I raise my consciousness. There is no better gift in the world.

Raise your consciousness and serve a purpose greater than yourself. By making the commitment to live from a place of compassion and genuine caring for others, you attract amazing things into your life and feel a sense of fulfillment that is beyond description.

In the words of Albert Einstein, “No problem can be solved by the same level of consciousness that created it.” Raise your consciousness so that you can become free to connect to your highest self.

The post Judging & Criticizing Others: How To Destroy Your Own Happiness appeared first on Project Life Mastery.

Judging and criticizing others is the easiest way to destroy your own happiness. Can you imagine a world where everyone was accepting and loving towards one another? Despite our best efforts, we have all been guilty of judging and criticizing others at some point in our lives.

In the past, I indulged in these behaviours, which in turn, negatively impacted my happiness in life. Judgment and criticism is merely a projection of your own insecurity and lack of fulfillment in life. It wasn’t until I was 100% happy with whom I was that I no longer felt the need to judge others.

In the words of Carl Jung, “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” How much time do you spend judging and criticizing others?

Are you ready to make a shift towards living a more happy and fulfilled life? CLICK HERE to join my Life Mastery Accelerator program!

If you want to be treated with unconditional love, you need to give that love to others. Nobody is perfect, and that includes YOU. Would you want someone to do or say something that hurt you? I doubt it.

If you love and honour yourself, you won’t dishonour or show hatred towards others. Happy people never judge or criticize people. Rather, they focus their energy on lifting people up and serving the greater good. They want to create more happiness, because that is what brings them a sense of joy.

If you struggle with judging and criticizing others, I challenge you to look deep inside of yourself in order to determine why you are choosing to act in this way.

When you shift your thoughts from ones of judgment to acceptance, towards yourself and others, you will restore your sense of happiness and fulfillment in life.

Below are 3 strategies that will help you release your judgmental thoughts, so that you can live more in alignment, with yourself and others:

1. Be Mindful Of Your Thoughts

Learning how to become mindful is a critical step in the process of becoming free of judgment. The root cause of judgment and criticism is the ego. The ego compares the self with others, and puts others down in order to feel better about the self. This becomes a vicious cycle, with the end result being a lack of acceptance, love, and joy.

When you find yourself being judgmental, step back and monitor your thoughts. What can you learn about yourself, based on how you are acting towards others? In the words of Earl Nightingale, “When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.”

2. Practice Self-Love

The more that you judge yourself, the more that you will judge others. Showing love and compassion for yourself is the best recipe for a happy and fulfilled life. Discipline yourself to practice self-love, by thinking and acting with positivity and non-judgment.

In the words of Brene Brown, “Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love.” When you love yourself, you transmit that same loving energy to others as well.

3. Send Love To Others

Whenever someone is projecting criticism or judgment onto you, send him/her love. This is a ritual that I practice in my daily life. I think that compassion is the ultimate antidote for peace, harmony, happiness, and wellbeing. Nonjudgmental people possess an abundance mindset, which flows out of a deep inner sense of personal worth and security.

These people exude happiness. They are compassionate for others’ misfortunes and show praise for their successes. When you show compassion and send love to others, you are committing to supporting the highest good of all mankind. Let go of your ego and stop judging and criticizing others.

Make it a priority for all of your intentions in life to be comprised of love and kindness. As the Golden Rule states, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I hope I have inspired you to make a shift towards living a more happy and fulfilled life. Are your actions contributing to more peace, love, and joy? If not, it’s time to make a change.

In the words of Sri Chinmoy, “Judge nothing, you will be happy. Forgive everything, you will be happier. Love everything, you will be happiest.”
