THIS is our multi-million dollar vacation home tour.

As many of you know who follow me, Tatiana and I recently got married!

Shortly after, we purchased a vacation home in Vancouver, Canada. You could say that we had a busy summer.

Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, especially in the summertime. On top of that, many of our family members and good friends live here.

We saw this as a fabulous opportunity to have a place of our own when we come back to visit. Keep reading to get a sneak peek of our new vacation home!

We got a great price for our vacation home.

While real estate is exploding in Canada right now, the luxury market has been really slow. Usually, a lot of foreign buyers purchase properties in Vancouver. However, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, luxury home sales have taken a massive hit.

The vacation home we bought was on the market for a while, so we purchased it for a great price. Also, interest rates are really low right now, so it was a great time to get a mortgage.

The previous Vancouver penthouse that Tatiana and I lived in was 2,000 square feet. Our new place is 3,100 square feet. It has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Essentially, it feels like living in a big house in the sky!

Tatiana and I have been working hard all summer to get it fully furnished. The goal is to rent this vacation home while we are away in Arizona and Panama for the next 6+ months. When we return home to visit Vancouver in the summertime we will live in it.

Tatiana and I have lived a minimalist lifestyle for quite a few years now. When we left Canada a few years ago we sold all of our belongings. We lived out of our suitcases and in other peoples' furnished homes. To be honest, it was great! It felt so freeing to not be attached to things.

This is the first time in years that we've started buying materialistic possessions again. Yes, we love the home we've bought, and we are grateful that we can afford such a big investment. However, the home itself isn't what brings us fulfillment in life.

In the pursuit of success, it is easy to become obsessed with material things and money.

Don't get me wrong… making a lot of money is a huge accomplishment. However, from personal experience, I have found that material wealth never makes you happy. Some of the richest people that I know are also the unhappiest people I know.

A Harvard Business School study asked more than 4,000 millionaires of varying degrees of wealth to rank their life satisfaction and happiness levels. The findings reveal that making it as a millionaire doesn’t necessarily buy you happiness.

This research proves that it's not what you have or where you live physically that matters. Rather, it's where you live emotionally. Happiness is not a thing to be chased after.

The feeling of happiness is the result of being present with yourself, with Spirit, with others, and with nature. No matter what you achieve in life, make sure that you never lose perspective about what matters in your life.

Watch the video above for our multi-million dollar home tour!

If you have the desire to live in a multi-million dollar home one day, I hope that our home tour inspires you. Many of you have been following my entrepreneurial journey for many years now. The lifestyle that I've created was not easy to achieve.

It has required a tremendous amount of hard work, patience, energy, and sacrifice. Please remember that I'm not special. Rather, I'm just a simple guy who has spent his life dedicated to helping people and creating a massive impact.

There is no reason why you cannot achieve the same success that I have created. When you work hard and commit to never giving up on your goals, eventually you manifest your dream lifestyle. In the end, it's not what you achieve but the person you become that matters most.

KENYA SCHOOL BUILDING TRIP | Stefan James Vlog https://projectlifemastery.com/kenya-school-building-trip/ https://projectlifemastery.com/kenya-school-building-trip/#respond Mon, 29 Jul 2019 15:56:49 +0000 https://projectlifemastery.com/?p=10936 I traveled to Kenya with We.org to take part in a very special mission. Together with We.org, Tatiana and I went on a Kenya school building trip.

We.org is an international development charity and youth empowerment movement. I partnered with them last year when I helped fund and build a new school for children in Ethiopia.

That experience changed my life. It was an honor to support this charity again in bettering the lives of those less fortunate.

Kenya is a beautiful country in east Africa.

However, it is also one of the poorest countries in the world. Statistics show that 42 percent of its population of 44 million, live below the poverty line. This breaks my heart. As many of you know who follow me, contribution is an integral aspect of my work and life. I believe that the secret to living is giving.

All of us have the power to make an impact in the lives of those who are less fortunate than ourselves. My mission going to Kenya was to do just that.

On the first day, Tatiana and I got to visit one of the old schoolhouses. The walls were made out of sticks, mud and cow dung. Inside, all that existed were wooden benches where the children sat. A lot of the classrooms were overcrowded due to lack of resources. It's fair to say that this was not the most ideal learning environment.

This is where we came in.

Alongside the We.org team, Tatiana and I helped build new schoolhouses. Today, the children in the village actually have buildings to learn! What I love is that each new schoolhouse has inspirational quotes painted on them. Inside each of the schoolhouses they now have real desks, chalkboards, and books for reading. More importantly, the ratio of teachers to students is a lot better.

They actually train the teachers to ensure that children are given the best education. In order to entice the best teachers to move to this rural area, We.org built homes for teachers, on-site. Another reason why I love We.org is that they are big believers in the empowerment of women. Focus is placed on empowering the mothers of the children of these communities to work so that they have their own income.

While in Kenya, Tatiana and I were given the honor of speaking to a class of grade 10 and 11 students on the topic of business and marketing. A lot of these kids didn't know what the Internet was, let alone anything about an online business!

It is a privilege for them to even attend secondary school. Hence, learning about business from us was such a revolutionary concept for them. Tatiana and I were so humbled to share our business stories and inspire the students with business success principles.

By planting the seed now, our hope is that these children will be able to take advantage of the opportunities that the Internet can provide for them in the future.

Our Kenya school building trip was a transformational experience.

The people of Africa continue to face serious economic challenges. However, in the Western world, we have the resources and the financial means to come up with solutions to these challenges.  I hope my story has inspired you to make an impact and contribute in some meaningful way to the lives of others.

My life is all about making a difference. I hope yours is too.

Tatiana and I recently experienced an unforgettable Tanzania safari adventure.

Tanzania is, by far, one of the best safari destinations in Africa. We traveled with Easy Travel, which is an award-winning tour operator in Tanzania. They definitely lived up to their title.

They took us on a tour of the Serengeti National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro, and the Lake Manyara National Park.

Tanzania is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

From incredible landscapes to an abundance of wildlife, and breathtaking beaches, Tanzania will leave you speechless. Below are some of the highlights of our trip!

Mount Kilimanjaro

This is the tallest single standing mountain in the world which is comprised of three volcanic cones – Kibo, Shira, and Mawenzi. Hiking the entire mountain takes about 5-9 days.

Tatiana and I decided to just do a day trip and hiked up to Mandara Hut. This is the first level of Mount Kilimanjaro. It took about us about four hours to get to the top and two hours to hike back down. The hike itself wasn't too steep but we definitely got a workout.

Lake Manyara National Park

Apart from the epic setting, this park is home of tree climbing lions, diverse birdlife, elephant herds, giraffes, leopards, and baboons. Tatiana and I camped outside in a glamping-style tent set amidst nature.

We were given walkie talkies to call security if we needed to venture out, in order to protect us from the wildlife. However, we still felt very safe and the local people were very warm and welcoming. There was an amazing restaurant, bar, and lounge on site as well.

The Maasai Tribe

We got the unique opportunity to visit the Maasai tribe who are well known for their unique culture and tribal outfits. The tribe greeted us with smiling faces and traditional African music. We sang along with them and got a tour of their camp.

The Maasai people live in simple mud huts and children go to school in huts made of sticks. Whenever we travel to third world countries, Tatiana and I are always reminded of how lucky we are in the Western world. Despite having so little in terms of amenities, the Maasai people were still smiling.

The Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park is one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The landscape is a vast savanna of grass which stretches for 1.5 million hectares. On our tour, Tatiana and I got the opportunity to view and experience some of the largest migrations of wildlife, including lions, rhinos, elephants, leopards, zebras and more.

It was so amazing to see these animals roaming freely in their natural habitat. What was even more special is that our tour guides planned a special engagement celebration for us when we got back to the Tortilis camp.

They blindfolded Tatiana and I and took us in the middle of a bush and surprised us with a 4-course meal. We even had security with us to protect us from the wildlife at night! It was a pretty magical moment. Upon leaving the camp, the locals danced and sang as they wished us a pleasant goodbye, yet again showing how warm and friendly the African people are.

Our Tanzania safari was an experience that we will never forget.

I highly recommend that you put Tanzania on your travel bucket list. Africa is a very special place. Our next destination is Kenya. Stay tuned for that!

The Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia has always been on mine and Tatiana's travel bucket list.

It literally looks like a snow-covered winter wonderland. However, instead of snow, it is covered in salt!

The Uyuni Salt Flat, otherwise known as The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat. It measures 12,106 sq km and sits at 11,984ft.

It's fair to say that this place blew us away. Ready for a sneak peek of our travel adventures in Bolivia?

Bolivia is the 5th largest country in South America.

From the culturally diverse city of La Paz to the lush Amazon jungle, to the salt flats of Salar de Uyuni, there is something for every traveler's taste in Bolivia. The Uyuni Salt Flat is estimated to contain 10 billion tonnes of salt and is 3,656 meters about sea level. About 50,000 years ago the Uyuni Salt Flat was once a vast lake that evaporated and transformed into salt flats.

As soon as we arrived, we were amazed at the brightness of the salt flat. For this reason alone, I definitely recommend that you bring a lot of sunscreen and protective sunglasses.

During the rainy season, nearby lakes overflow onto the flat, turning the entire salt flat into the world's largest mirror. The result is a breathtaking reflection of the sky. All I could think about when I saw it was how it must be a photographer's dream.

Because the Uyuni Salt Flat is the flattest place on earth it allows you to play with distorted perspectives. In turn, this makes everything appear closer or farther away than they actually appear. Tatiana and I took the opportunity to take pictures with stuffed llamas and Godzilla dinosaurs that looked as if they were towering over us. It's fair to say that we had a ton of fun doing this.

One of the highlights of our trip to the Uyuni Salt Flat was a hike around Isla Incahuasi, otherwise known as Cactus Island. The view of the salt flats from the top was out of this world. The sunset was one that I will always remember. The hike was quite strenuous so I suggest that you drink a lot of water so that you don't get affected by the altitude change. It definitely takes a while to acclimatize.

We ended our day trip at a restaurant made entirely of salt. If you fancy staying the night on the salt flats, I recommend Palacio Del Sal, which is the first salt hotel in the world. I can't think of a better way to connect with nature.

The Uyuni Salt Flat was a once in a lifetime travel experience.

Tatiana and I thought Argentina & Chile were amazing, but this place blew us away. I encourage you to put the Uyuni Salt Flat on your travel bucket list. It literally felt like heaven on earth. Onto our next adventure!

My fiancée, Tatiana and I recently went on a much-needed vacation to Argentina & Chile!

I've been working non-stop for the last three months on a project that I'm very passionate about. It's fair to say that I've been investing a lot of time and energy into my mission in life.

Argentina & Chile proved to be one of the best places for me to restore, renew and rejuvenate myself.

Argentina & Chile are equally enticing countries.

We couldn't decide on one, so Tatiana and I decided to visit both! The first country we visited was Argentina, which is the leading tourist destination in South America, with 5 million visitors annually. If you're the kind of person that likes street-side tango, amazing wine and some of the best steak in the world, this is the place to go.

One of the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina was visiting the Iguazú Falls. These waterfalls are located on the borders of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil. They are the largest system of waterfalls in the world. It was truly spectacular to witness this natural wonder.

After an amazing day at the Iguazú Falls, we took the opportunity to experience a popular dining experience called, The Argentine Experience. This is a unique dinner party concept that teaches you about what it means to be an Argentine.

Tatiana and I made empanadas, drank the best wine, indulged in steak and dulce de leche, and prepared and drank our own “mate.” For those of you who don't know, this is a popular drink in Argentina that is infused with the dried leaves of yerba mate.

Our next stop was Chile.

This country narrowly stretches along the southern half of the west coast of South America, between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean. Tatiana and I visited Santiago, which is the capital and the largest city in the country. Our first destination was Sky Costanera. This is a glass-walled observation deck that has the most amazing panoramic view of the entire city. It was spectacular.

Our wine experience continued in Chile with a visit to the Concho y Toro vineyard. This is one of the biggest wineries in the world. Chilean entrepreneur, Don Melchor Concha y Toro founded the vineyard in 1883. Since then, it has transformed into a huge company. Concho y Toro has become the primary exporter of wine for all of Latin America.

South America proved to be an insanely beautiful country with its diversity of cultural experiences. I highly recommend that you put it on your bucket list.

Traveling is an investment in yourself.

Make it a priority to get out and see the world. There is no better way to learn about yourself and connect with others. If traveling is important to y0u, start creating a dream life that you don't need a vacation from.

Where will your next trip be?

I recently witnessed the building of a school in Ethiopia that I funded with your support. That Ethiopia school inauguration was a life-changing experience that I will never forget. I am honored that I was able to be a part of such a legacy.

Together with Imagine1Day, I helped fund and build a new school for children in Ethiopia. As many of you know, contribution is an important part of my life.

There is nothing more fulfilling than stepping outside of yourself and contributing to helping people in need. This can be in the form of volunteering your time or donating money to a cause or charity. There is no better way to shift your mindset from one of scarcity to abundance.

Together, we can help change the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. How will you make a positive impact in the world?

When we arrived in the village where the school had been built, we were greeted by hundreds of people. Everybody from the local children, to government members, to military officials, to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia. It was a beautiful and humbling experience.

In the Western World, it is so easy to take our education for granted. Many of us are blessed to have the opportunity and privilege to learn in a safe and positive school environment. Previous to this Ethiopia school inauguration, local children were educated in an open-air classroom. They sat on stones and wrote on their laps because their community did not have the money to build proper schools.

Knowing that due to our contribution efforts 700 local children now have new classrooms, a playground, and a safe and comfortable educational environment to learn in brings me so much joy.

The focus of the new school that we helped build is to create visionary teachers, students, and future leaders. It was awesome to learn that each teacher and student at the school has one-year, five-year and ten-year goals and a vision for their life.

I am a firm believer, that no matter where you are from, or what your socioeconomic status is, every person has the ability to achieve their dreams. The power of a vision cannot be understated. It has the ability to transform your entire life.

Overall, the Ethiopia school inauguration was one of the most transformational and eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I believe that the key to a happy and meaningful life is contribution.

In 2018, I am continuing my contribution efforts, and will be traveling to either Colombia, Costa Rica or Guatemala to build homes for families that are living in slum conditions. My goal is to raise $20,000 total, to build a school and 3 homes for those in need. I will be matching all donations that are made, and also giving significant amounts from my own pocket.

If you would like to partner with me to help raise money and be a force for good, please feel free to make a donation. In the words of Kathy Calvin, “Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference.” Let’s change lives together!

My girlfriend Tatiana and I had the opportunity to travel to to Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Muscat. I want to share with you some of the EPIC experiences that we had on our Arabian adventure!

If you have yet to check out any of these cities, I highly recommend that you put them on your travel bucket list. We were blown away by the richness of the Middle Eastern culture and its people.

This is the beauty of traveling and being able to see the world. It opens your eyes to new ideas, belief systems, and cultural practices, giving you the opportunity to appreciate how other people live.

I believe that travel is one of the best educations that you can receive. Mary Ritter Beard said it best – “Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”

Here are some of the highlights of our trip to Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Muscat.

Dubai

On the first leg of our trip in Dubai, we had the pleasure of being shown all the awesome sights by my good friend.

Dubai is well known for its magnificent high-rise buildings, but if you want to have an authentic Dubai experience, you need to check out “Old Dubai.”

This Arabian marketplace is adorned with hundreds of colorful shops that sell textiles, food, and much more.

We then took a ride across the Dubai Creek on a wooden boat called an “abra” to check out the Dubai museum and learn more about Dubai’s rich culture and history.

One of the highlights of our trip was a thrilling off-roading dune bugging adventure in the desert of Dubai. It's pretty amazing to drive past camels while riding into a vast sandscape that stretches for miles.

For anyone that is a thrill-seeker, I highly recommend that you check out this safari activity the next time you are in Dubai.

We also got to check out The Burj Khalifa. As the tallest building and freestanding structure in the world, this is an architectural dream. The 360-degree view at the top of the tower is absolutely magnificent, allowing you to see the vastness of the desert city.

Muscat

After Dubai, we took a flight to Muscat, which is the capital and largest city of Oman, where we stayed at the Shangri-La to unwind and enjoy the luxuries of the beach, spa and pool.

Nestled by the sea, Muscat has a very different feel from the flashiness and high rise buildings of Dubai. It was clean, laid back, colorful, and surrounded by mountainous terrain. This city should definitely be on your travel wish list.

Abu Dhabi

We then flew back to Dubai to catch a flight to Abu Dhabi, which is the second largest city in the United Arab Emirates. While there, we got the opportunity to check out the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Boasting 82 white domes, this is one of the largest mosques in the world, and is considered to be Abu Dhabi’s most iconic landmark. We were in awe of its grandness and the beauty of Islamic architecture.

All in all, our trip to Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Muscat was amazing. I highly recommend that you put these cities on your list and explore the richness that the Arabian culture offers. The benefits of travel are far-reaching. Where will your next adventure be?

My girlfriend Tatiana and I have been having an amazing trip thus far in beautiful Sydney, Australia, before we head to Melbourne, Fiji, and the Gold Coast. I wanted to share with you some of the cool things that we’ve been doing.

Tatiana and I love to travel and experience new countries. If you have dreams of traveling the world, while making money, an online business affords you the ability to do so. I’ve also found that you can actually grow your business faster while you are traveling.

Anything is possible, if you believe it to be so. In the words of Zig Ziglar, “If you can dream it, you can achieve it.” Where will your next adventure take you?

Whenever we travel, Tatiana and I make it our top priority to not let it disrupt our morning rituals. While we’ve been in Sydney, that means waking up early, reading, having a great workout at Beach Fit, followed by a healthy meal and smoothie at Earth to Table in Bondi Junction. This raw, plant-based restaurant is to die for. It could make any meat-eater want to turn vegan.

When you travel, it’s important that you stay healthy and fit. Don’t deviate from your routine. Consistency, commitment, and persistence are foundational to living a healthy life. Health has always been one of my top priorities, but since my recent metal toxicity urine test that showed some shocking results, I am even more hyper-aware of what I am putting into my body now.

During our time in Sydney, we had the opportunity to check out a Rugby Football game on Anzac Day, where the Roosters were playing the Dragons. Anzac Day is one of Australia’s most important national holidays, marking the anniversary of the first military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during WWI.

We went to the Featherdale Wildlife Park, which is home to one of Australia's largest collections of indigenous wildlife. The park is comprised of over 1,700 animals, from more than 280 different species. We were lucky to have face-to-face encounters and feed wallabies, emus, parrots, koalas, and kangaroos.

Lastly, I was grateful to be able to carry out my monthly live stream for my Life Mastery Accelerator members’ in my friend’s office in Australia. My monthly, live program provides cutting-edge advice and strategies that will allow people to master their lives.

No matter where I am in the world, I am always focused on growing my online businesses, expanding myself, and most importantly, serving and providing value to my customers. Sydney has been an amazing experience. We are looking forward to many more adventures on our vacation.

Never forget that happiness comes from experiences, not material things. The next time you go to buy that expensive piece of clothing or meal, step back and ask yourself, “How could I use this money towards my next adventure?” Travel is the only thing that you buy that makes you richer.
